Admittedly, I'm not as smitten with Disco Kid as a lot of others, but I still wanted to contribute at least one (1) piece of art, he deserves it. Was watching someone play Parappa the rapper, so I thought why not draw him in the outfit, since one of the prompts was of him in any outfit ^^

I've only had Winston and Peter for a day and a half but if anything happened to them...you get the idea- I did the Beholder Conductor Playtest yesterday and I loved it, especially Winston and Peter, they have a fun dynamic (And height difference) ^^

Fun fact about me so you know I’m a dumbass:

I kept hearing people talk about how Bald Bull is Mask X, but that was before I knew about the arm wrestling game.

So what I instead thought people said was that Bald Bull is the only other masked Punch Out character I knew, Masked Muscle

But that confused me even more, because Bull is IN super punch out, he doesn’t need to disguise himself, why do people think he‘s Masked Muscle???

So yeah, I’m stupid lol, I believed that for way too long

Randomly realized I haven't done any of these yet, so uh, why not make my own list and some elaborations in the read more ^^ This isn't based on how hot they are, but what I think about them as characters! I know some of you prolly won't agree with me, but that's the fun of it, so please just be civil, even if I didn't rank your pookie high ^^

Everyone in the "Sorry, who?" category: I haven't played the arcade game or the arm wrestling game, so I know like nothing about these characters...and also I'm so sorry, I haven't managed to beat Hoy Quarlow in Super Punch Out yet, so I haven't seen the Bruiser Brothers 😭 Go Away: I have no...concrete reasons for disliking Hoy Qualow and Mr. Dream specifically, they just make me uncomfortable, lmao- Mr. Dream looks like a Sleep paralysis demeon standing ominously at the foot of my bed and I just don't like the way Hoy Quarlow looks at me-

Is Okay: Basically all the guys that I do like, but not enough to have a strong opinion about. I don't dislike any of these guys, they just don't stand out enough for me to really latch on to.

I'm not as smitten with Disco Kid as a lot of other people, I know he's really popular and I think he's funny, he's just not my cup of tea. Same with Soda Popinski, I like him and he has some funny moments, but not as much as other Wii characters.

And a majority of the SPO boxers are on here, but it's mainly cause of the SNES limitations that doesn't make them stand out as much compared to the Wii fighters. Gotta say, I'm not a fan of Masked Muscle fucking spitting in your face, like, that's just rude-

Pretty good: Just characters I like. I think Bald Bull's hilarious, like let the poor man relax lmao. And I actually think he's really fun to fight (I haven't played Wii yet, only SPO and Original, but he's a fun challenge)

I don't know why, but I'm just kinda fond of Dragon Chan, don't know why, I'm just endeared, I have no explanation, love the shimmies and the kicks and love the stupid haircut, got a weakness for the fluffy hair. Doc is just funny, like how can you not like Doc, he's a great character, I'd wanna be besties with him

PSA, Mr. Sandman is a bitchass women beater (Source: I'm a woman and he is constantly beating me in the original Punch out, because I cannot fucking get past him-). He doesn't have the most character, but I think the little bit of personality we see during his fights does a lot for him, he's just kinda cool and stoic. Granted, that kinda flies out the window in title defense, but yknow- xD

Narcis isn't this high because he's hot, he's this high because he's stupid, the way he acts in the ring is just so funny to me, he's such a shithead and acts like a complete gremlin and that's just really funny. He prolly has the most personality in SPO and that does a lot for him.

I don't think there is a lot to Piston, at least not for me, he definitely has personality, I just find him a little basic personally. I don't even know what to say about him, there's a lot of stuff to like, he's unproblematic, he's just not that exciting to me.

Really like: Glass Joe's like the Poster Child of favorite characters lol. I never quite saw the appeal as some other's do, but he is pretty funny and he has grown on me.

Super Macho Man: Literally one of the funniest characters, like bruh, what is his problem, I love him, lmao

Great Tiger: never understood why he wasn't more popular, like his personality is more subtle, but once you take a closer look there is a lot to him. He is a bit of a jokester, considering he sometimes swaps places with Doc, his fighting is very unique and obviously his voice is amazing

SPO Aran is a more controversial take to have him this high, considering he barely has any personality in SPO, but I've gotten attached to him and drawn him so much that he has just grown on me, I'm sorry, but I don't care, I love him-

Favorites: Von Kaiser's my favorite character of them all, his voice is perfect, I'm german so I understand everything he's saying and he just has such a charming personality to latch onto, both in Contender and Title defense. There is a lot to like about Von Kaiser, but small PSA: His first name isn't Von, it's part of his surname and basically just means to be of something

Don Flamenco: I already liked him a lot when I saw him the first time, but he is one of the characters I really grew to love with time, he's charming and hilarious and the whole thing of him wearing a toupee really added a lot to his personality Aran: Original funny guy, I can't be in a bad mood when he's on screen being his usual chaotic self lmao

I really like drawing SPO Aran / Arin

He's got the chompers too, but is usually too shy to show them. Everyone in the league loves em though and always tries to make Arin laugh ^^

This might be the frist time I've not drawn Aran smiling, it's kinda weird Anyway, had a silly idea yesterday due to binging some people play Home Safety Hotline, so I wanted to draw it (For note, SPO Aran is an entirely different character in my canon, he's Aran's twin brother and I call him Arin, cause that's hilarious) -Arin and Aran both know a lot about fae, but unlike Aran with his brash nature, Arin's very in-tune with his surroundings and sensitive to changes, so he could immediately tell when a new presence began nesting in his home

-Once he realized that his home was getting cleaned at night, he knew that a Hob made itself home at his place. Hob's are little buggers that eat dust, cobwebs and food scraps, indirectly cleaning the home at night! And Arin knows that a Hob should be thanked for it's hard work by giving it food, water and shelter to keep it placated (this version on the Hob is based on the Home Safety Hotline common Hobb)

-Hobs are usually very shy creatures that don't reveal themselves to humans, but thanks to Arin being quiet, kind and liking his personal space, he actually managed to befriend his unlikely roommate to the point where they could actually hang out together and are now friends! -Despite that, Arin doesn't tell anyone else about the Hob, it's dangerous for too many people to know of its existence (it could cause the Hob to metamorph into a Boggart), so he jumped on Aran's assumption that he had a very very shy cat. And what did he name that 'cat'? .....Hobkins...he panicked.

Hey, sry, I've been gone a while, artblock has really been kicking me down, but I finally managed to make something small. I saw a lot of appreciation for SPO Aran as of late, so I wanted to add to it ^^ I like to think, while he doesn't get a lot of fanmail, he is always super excited when he does get gifts

Some headcanons about the kinda games the PO Boxers would probably be addicted to

Glass Joe: -Literally plays every management and business sim game in existence, when there is something new that looks fun, he will buy it without hesitation

-Vicariously living through the success his virtual businesses have

-When he wants to built off stress he plays games like Doom where he just beats up monsters in a gore fest, it's weirdly cathartic for him

Von Kaiser: -Hardcore civilization addict, didn't sleep for 3 days because he got so into his beef with George Washington after he built a city right next to his capital (Based on a true story that happened in my civilization game)

-Talks shit about his computer opponents like they're real people

-When he wants to actually relax he plays Minecraft, falls into the first hole, never finds the exit and just hollows out the earth and builds an underground civilization

Disco Kid: -Addicted to rhythm and dancing games of all kinds, he probably has a ddr machine at his place and it gets used regularly

-But also Rhythm heaven and guitar hero and stuff isn't safe from him, he will find them and he will get the best score

King Hippo:

-Likes to play the really simple platformers that are usually made for kids. He could play something more difficult, but he just finds the simple stuff much more relaxing and cuter to look at -If the art style isn't appealing to him he ain't playing, end of story, no matter how good the gameplay is

Piston Hondo: -Virtual Pet Games have taken over his life, to the point where he even got himself a tamagotchi. Everything about it just appeals to him, the cute aesthetic, the animals, the emotional attachment, the reward for your hard work by seeing your pet propser? Yes, please

-And Puzzle Games, specifically the Sailor Moon ones

Bear Hugger:

-Doesn't game a lot, but if he does, he likes the cozy simulators, usually with animals or just living in the wilderness and building a house or a bed'nbreakfast, that kinda stuff

-He's also an arcade game enjoyer, he just likes simple stuff he can pick up, play for a few minutes and can then put away again

Great Tiger:

-Card Games. All the card games. No matter, it has a card game, he'll play it. His current obsession is Slay the Spire, he played it so much, he even dissociated and began playing it in his head while he tried to fall asleep

-No matter the aesthetic, he just wants the card games

Don Flamenco:

-Stupidly addicted to Stardew Valley, like it's not even funny anymore. Actually learnt how to mod just so he could add like an absurd amount of mods to the game, you couldn't even recognize the base game anymore

-He has so many hours in Stardew Valley, it took his life over at some point. He used to have a multiplayer farm with Carmen, but then he got so into it that she got kinda left behind in it all, oops-

Aran Ryan:

-Horror Game junkie, this guy just likes torturing himself, he lives for the adrenaline. Stuff like Outlast and Dead Space is his fucking jam, anything that makes him almost shit himself

-If not that, then he wants to play something funny, like actual funny games he will laugh at for hours, he hasn't found a lot, but the few he did find he could play again and again and never stop laughing at

Soda Popinski:

-Also not that much of a gamer, but he really enjoys comforting games, like games he would've loved as a child. It's kind of a way for him to return to those times and always gives him a warm, happy feeling

-He even has some old consoles and an ancient TV so he can really capture the feeling of lil pop playing all his favorite games back in the day

-His absolute favorites are the Banjo Kazooie games, he never finished them as a kid, so he got a little emotional when he actually 100 % them as an adult

Bald Bull:

-He doesn't really game on his own, but when he has people or family over, he will always join when they wanna play Mario Party or Kart or any of the party games

-He doesn't get a lot of enjoyment out of playing on his own, but playing these cute party games with people he loves is like one of his favorite times ever

Macho Man:

-Dating sims, ironically, like he eats that shit up- he gets like all the good endings, but not the ones where he gets rejected, cause getting rejected is Bogus-

-Usually goes the women routes, but 'messed' up one time and went on a man route and has had bisexual thoughts ever since that he will try to ignore till his dying breath, his tiny brain can't handle it

Sandman:

-Adventure games, hands down. No matter what kind, the cool ones, the funny ones, the scary ones, the adorable ones, the ones for kids. If he can click a character around on an interactable background, collect items and combine them with other items to solve puzzles and progress, he WILL play it

-he very much prefers the classics in that regard though, like King's Quest for example

Imagine Ash Williams from Evil Dead as a Punch out character

-He only wears one boxing glove, the hand with his prosthetic is bare, because that’s somehow allowed.

-Says really corny stuff in his corner or in the ring, he just hits you with the „✨groovy✨“ before absolutely annihilating you with an uppercut

-At a certain point in the match he just takes off his Prosthetic, tosses it away, gets a fucking chainsaw thrown at him that he catches with his arm stump and attaches to his arm with a loud click and starts revving up

-if you can’t dodge a chainsaw hit it’s an instant knock out.

-sometimes instead of the chainsaw, Ash gets a hand puppet that looks like him and is called Ashy Slashy thrown his way. He‘s confused about it for a second, but then rolls with it.

-Getting hit by Ashy Slashy is also an instant K.O, cause he WILL bite you and it probably hurts more than the fucking chainsaw

Halloween is over and I didn't post anything for it cause I didn't have anything prepared, but then I did remember that I had this drawing of and unfinished concept of a scary Joe that I'm not sure I'll ever finish, so I thought why not post them, netter late than never, right?

I like to imagine Grass Mikey and the Bug Catcher are best friends, just living their best life somewhere away from everyone and having their own little adventures. (You don't wanna know how long this took, I am tired and aching)
