OH BOY SEASON 5???
( spoiler for season 5 )
okay i have a LOT to say about this season ???
Mister Cat développement ???? Pretty developpements ???? I loved it !! idk how did they make me love these two even more but they did it !
Pretty is so much calmer and nicer ! ALSO SHE DOESN'T Love Mister Cat anymore ?????? YES GO QUEEN FINALLY !!!!
Quack Quack and Mister Cat Friendship ? perfect
Pretty and Stumpy acting like siblings ? perfect
I don't mind the new characters , but yeah ...they are maybe to much present ? like ... I love Stumpy's sisters but one episode for each sisters ? and there is 7 of them ?
also " la RDG" , i liked her ... I think ? i mean she had her good moment but if she dissapread next season i wouldn't really mind idk .
The socket episode ?? really cool !
ALSO THE QUACKQUACK EPISODE ?????
i'm kinda sad about the lack of Kaelat moments ... I mean S3 and S4 had so much of them but S5 ? idk if there is even one genuine moment between them ? except the moment that shows their friendship ( wich were really cool ) but other than that ... we were a little let down this season ... Bad K and Mister Cat has their moment but it's the usual " Mister Cat flirts with Bad K and he beats him up" so yeah ...
I was also disapoitned that we don't see Eugly and Olaf a lot ....
And why is mister Cat leaving early in bunch of the episodes ???
overall , good season but really heavy on the emotional theme ?? i wasn't ready for that ? like we saw Mister cat cry or being really vulnerable a lot ! ( also i love his canon name ? it's such a awful name ... i love it )
( also i'm pretty sure that there was a Ace attorney reference in one of the latest épisode )

What Should You Consider When Selecting the Best IELTS Institute for Your Preparation?
Selecting the right IELTS institute may get a bit confusing for those who are looking to score a high band score in the IELTS test. There are so many institutes available that it is hard to figure out which one can provide the best preparation according to your requirement. Here are some key factors to consider while selecting the best institute for you.
Tumblr media
1. Institution's reputation
Here is a list of the critical factors to be kept in mind while searching for an IELTS institute: The reputation of an IELTS institute says it all about the quality of education and the success rate of that particular institute. Search for those institutes that have positive reviews and testimonials from ex-students, who have received high band scores.
You can also ask friends or acquaintances who have undergone this course for suggestions. A respectable IELTS institute will certainly be offering the best teachers and can show previous results of students doing well in the exam.
2. Qualified and Experienced
For an IELTS course, qualified and experienced faculty is a significant part of the training process. These instructors have adequate knowledge about the IELTS exam pattern and scoring criteria. They can help the students in each section-LST, RDG, Writing, and Speaking.
Find an IELTS institution that uses certified trainers who have multiple teaching experience in IELTS and can give individual attention to students.
3. Comprehensive Course Content
The best institutes providing IELTS training offer a comprehensive course curriculum. Make sure practice tests, mock tests, and a comprehensive lesson on all the sections of an IELTS exam are a part of the course.
Other important skills like time management, effective essay writing, and techniques for overall listening and speaking ability improvement are also incorporated into the course. An all-inclusive course can be taken for both General and Academic modules based on your needs.
4. Flexible Study Mode
Options Flexibility has emerged as a major constituent in today's world while choosing an IELTS institute. Most institutions provide online classes, hybrid learning models, or weekend batches depending on the available time of students. Choose an institute offering flexible study mode options so that you can decide on a study program suitable to your schedule.
If you want to study through classroom sessions, then choose institutes that are accessible and have convenient timings for classes.
5. Success Rate and Student Outcomes
One of the best ways to measure a successful IELTS institute is through its success rate for winning desired bands for their students who have taken up the test. Analyze the institute's previous records and see how many students have resulted in passing the IELTS exam with good scores and bands.
If this success rate is high, then that institute gives good scope for succeeding in attaining your goals for taking the IELTS exam.
Conclusion
One of the most crucial decisions that lie ahead is choosing the best IELTS institute. The institute's reputation, faculty experience, course content, flexibility in the course, success rate, fee structure, and practice materials are all present in their respective storehouses. These variously help identify an institute that would suit your preparation needs well enough with respect to achieving the desired band score.

RMT and train firms take step towards ending dispute

Business reporter and transport correspondent
RMT members are to vote on a pay deal that could halt the union’s current wave of industrial action against train companies.
Operators have put forward an offer that proposes backdated pay rises for staff and job security guarantees.
RMT boss Mick Lynch said he supported the deal, calling it a “welcome development”.
However, further negotiations will be required to thrash out proposed reforms to the railways.
A separate dispute with train drivers in the Aslef union also remains ongoing, so walkouts over Christmas could still be possible.
The RMT’s dispute with rail companies has been going on for nearly 18 months already, with workers calling for better job security, pay and conditions.
Last month members voted for a new six-month strike mandate, meaning the threat of action over Christmas and into spring.
After talks between the union and the Rail Delivery Group (RDG), which represents operators, a so-called memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been developed which sets out a mutually-agreed way forward.
The BBC understands the MOU involves a backdated pay rise for 2022 of 5%, or £1,750, and job security guarantees such as no compulsory redundancies until the end of 2024.
A second year’s pay rise would still depend on reforms being negotiated at local level.
The Rail Delivery Group, which represents operators, said: “If accepted, this MOU will terminate the national dispute mandate, creating a pause and respite from industrial action over the Christmas period and into spring next year, while allowing for these important negotiations on proposed reforms to take place.”
RMT members will now vote on the deal in an online referendum which closes on 30 November. It is the first deal they have voted on since the start of the dispute.
The Department for Transport called the deal “fair and reasonable” and said it marked “a positive step towards resolving this dispute”.
RMT members, including guards and ticket office staff, who work at 14 train companies have taken part in a series of national strikes since June 2022 in the long-running dispute.
Coinciding with walkouts by train drivers, the strikes have brought much of the rail network to a standstill and disrupted major sporting events and music festivals.
A separate RMT dispute with Network Rail – which manages the UK’s rail infrastructure – was resolved in March this year after signallers and maintenance workers voted to accept an offer.

Effect of reducing the LED strip supply voltage on the light emitted
How quickly does the illumination reduce when the supply voltage decreases? How does the illumination decrease due to voltage self-loss in a long LED strip?
I want to measure the effect of changing the supply voltage on the illumination change from the LED strip. This experiment will indirectly continue another investigation: “Why is a 24-volt LED strip better than a 12-volt power supply”.
Test bench
I took a few LED strips of different types and different power to compare the change dynamics: - sample 1 = 2216 chips; 7.01W/foot - sample 2 = 2216 chips; 3.66W/foot - sample 3 = COB; 1.83W/foot - sample 4 = 2835 chips; 4.39W/foot (Learn more about samples)
The LED strip is mounted on a vertical heat sink and emits light sideways. The detector/sensor is 1 foot away from the strip.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The strip is connected to the RIDEN RD6024 regulated high-precision power supply. I measure the voltage directly at the strip input to level out the voltage drop on the wires from the power supply (Greenlee DM-65 multimeter (accuracy for 24V DC = 1%)).
I measured the illuminance with my new high-precision instrument - spectral & illuminance analyzer HOPOOCOLOR OHSP-350MF. Total accuracy of illumination ±4% (for 1000 FC).
By comparison. My old lux meter (good quality) has an accuracy of ±3% rdg ±3% f.s. What does this mean? For measured value 1000 FC: ±3% rdg = 3% of 1000 FC = 30 FC ±3% f.s. = 3% of 4000 FC (full scale) = 120 FC Total = 150 FC = 15% for 1000 FC.
Many manufacturers don’t specify full-scale accuracy. Their instruments will appear to be very accurate.
Measured values
I measure the illuminance every time I decrease the voltage by 0.1 V. The values obtained have some scatter, related to the instrument accuracy, the measurement method, and other details. I additionally introduced a trend line to simplify the perception of the results.
Tumblr media
Also, for simplicity, I made additional calculations of the relationship between illumination and voltage (in %).
Tumblr media
Conclusions
The change in supply voltage has a linear effect on the change in light emission from modern LEDs and assemblies.
The light emission change from the supply voltage depends on the LED type and strip design (LED connection scheme, section length, resistors, etc.)
The light emission from the LEDs decreases faster than the supply voltage decreases. My samples of LED strips with voltage supply showed the following results: 3a. 2216 chip strips: 5% voltage = 20% illumination and 10% voltage = 40% illumination 3b. 2835 chip strips: 5% voltage = 12% illumination and 10% voltage = 26% illumination 3c. COB low power strip: 5% voltage = 36% illumination and 10% voltage = 70% illumination Warning. Other strips will give different results.
Incorrect connection of long LED strips to the power supply will significantly reduce the level of emitted light (due to the high self-loss on the LED strip conductors). (see conclusions to the post “Why 24V LED strip is better than 12V?”
Catastrophic effects will be for powerful low-voltage (5-12V) LED strips.

Behold, the Lamb of God!
Tumblr media
1st Rdg: Is 49:3,5-6/ 2nd Rdg: 1 Cor 1:1-3 Gospel: John 1:29-34
Second Sunday in Ordinary Time | USCCB
Last week’s First Reading spoke about God’s Servant who would bring justice and light to the world. And today again, the First Reading speaks of how God’s servant will lead the people of Israel back to God and bring God’s salvation to the whole earth. There are four passages in the book of Isaiah that speak of servant known as the “Suffering Servant”. They are known as the Servant Songs of Isaiah and were written about 500 years before Jesus was born. They beautifully describe God’s perfect servant, Jesus.
We can’t speak about Jesus without speaking about sheep and lambs and servants because these are all words Jesus and those surrounding Jesus use to describe Him. Something I found interesting is that at the time of Jesus, the Jews looked down on shepherds, but they loved sheep. They did not care for shepherds because they considered them low class, dishonest and unsanitary because of their usually being so close to their animals.
The Jews, however had a high concept and placed a high value on sheep as part of their economy and culture. The sheep provided wool for clothing and food for meals both in the context of small family celebrations and large communal and ritual celebrations. Sheep are very docile animals. They were prescribed in the books of the Law as the preferred animals to be offered to God in sacrifice.
Lambs are important to us even today even though most of us may not never have seen one in real life. They are important to Christians because Lamb of God is one of the titles used to refer to Jesus Christ. John the Baptist refers to Jesus as the Lamb of God in today’s Gospel. It is the image of the lamb offered in sacrifice we invoke right before Communion.
What does the symbolism of ‘Lamb of God’ mean? There are three important references to sheep or lambs in the scriptures that can help us understand:
The first Reference is the Paschal Lamb: About 1300 years before Jesus, when God was about to free the Jews from their slavery in Egypt, Moses instructed the people how to protect themselves from the last plague that would descend over the land of Egypt. That last plague would be the Angel of Death who would take the life of every firstborn male of any age, human or animal in the whole land. Moses told the Jews to sacrifice a pure lamb, take its blood and sprinkle it over the doorpost of their homes and that the Angel of Death would pass over the homes who did this. Then, they were to roast the lamb and have a meal as a family and eat the meat of the lamb. That meal became the annual Passover meal; the annual commemoration of God setting His people free.
The second reference is to Isaiah’s Suffering Servant. There are four sections in the Book of Isaiah that describe the Suffering Servant. They are known as the Servant Songs because of their poetic and melancholic style. Today we heard about how the servant has a great responsibility to “bring [God’s] salvation to the ends of the earth.” (Is. 49:6). This is to be accomplished through the Servant’s suffering and His rejection.
Isaiah quotes the people witnessing the suffering of the servant who then realize what has happened and say, “While we thought of Him as stricken, as one smitten by God and afflicted (as if for his own sins, yet), he was pierced for our offenses, crushed for our sins. By his stripes [those are his lashes and wounds] we were healed. (Is. 53:4-5) “Like a lamb led to the slaughter or a sheep before the shearers, He was silent and opened not His mouth. Through His suffering, my Servant will justify many, and their guilt He shall bear.” (Is. 53:7-11). These lines were written 500 years before the birth of Jesus Christ.
At first, these four Servant Songs were not thought to apply to the Messiah because the people expected a Messiah who would be a king or a priest who would be a powerful, glorious, majestic, or some victorious figure or leader – not a suffering servant. It was only after Jesus’ death and resurrection that these servant songs were seen to clearly and perfectly apply to Jesus, the Messiah.
The Third Reference to Jesus as the Lamb of God is perhaps the most obvious and is from the Book of Revelation. It clearly combines the suffering servant with the symbol of the lamb when Jesus is described in the following: “Then I saw standing in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures and the elders, a Lamb that seemed to have been slain. He had seven horns and seven eyes.”
Seven, in the Bible means fullness. It means complete, totality. The seven horns means that He had fullness of power, complete and total power. The seven eyes mean fullness of knowledge, complete insight. That He had complete and total knowledge. In the Book of Revelation, the main title for Jesus is the “Lamb”
All this comes together here with this image of the Lamb who seemed to have been slain standing in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures.
One of the most interesting aspects of the four living creatures is that they demonstrate that Jesus, the Lamb of God, is equal to God Himself. Their worship of the Lamb in Revelation 5:6-14 is clearly directed towards Jesus Christ (Revelation 5:5;9-10), and they say “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” (Revelation 5:11-12) and “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever” (Revelation 5:13) and they fall down and worship the Lamb, along with “Him who sits on the throne” – God, the Father.
Toward the end of the Book of Revelation, St. John tells us that the Wedding Feast of the Lamb has begun. This is a symbol of God’s reign, when there will be no more death, no more mourning, no more pain. Then the angel said to St. John, write this: “Blessed are those who have been called to the wedding feast of the Lamb.” (Rev. 19:9).
This is the invitation right before communion, we are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb, at every Eucharist, you are invited to be blessed with the Most Holy Body and Blood of the Lamb of God. Be Blessed by the Blessing of the Lamb of God. You are blessed by the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Even if you don’t take communion, His Body and Blood still Blesses you in a Spiritual Communion through the blessing you are invited to walk up to receive. NEVER be ashamed to come up to receive HIS blessing. His grace is sufficient for YOU. If you don’t receive His body and Blood in the Sacrament of Holy Communion because you are not Catholic or because you are not in condition to receive, you are still invited to receive HIS blessing. It is not the priest's blessing or the minister’s blessing; it is the blessing of Jesus Christ the Lamb of God, our Lord and Savior. No priest worthy of his ordination should deny you the blessing OF JESUS CHRIST during communion or any other time.
Amen.

BBC News
Passengers across England have faced Bank Holiday weekend disruption as 20,000 rail staff staged their latest strike on Saturday.
Mick Lynch, head of the RMT union, said strikes would continue until a new pay settlement for workers is reached.
The Department for Transport said rail staff have received “fair and reasonable” pay offers.
Workers from 14 train operators are taking part in Saturday’s strike, which is its 24th since last summer.
The action has seen a reduced timetable in place in much of England, with some journeys into Scotland and Wales also affected.
Around half the usual services were running on Saturday and trains started later than usual and will finish earlier, while some areas have had no services all day.

Further action by the RMT is planned for 2 September, while member of the train drivers union, Aslef, are set to walk out on 1 September.
As well as a new pay deal, the RMT is demanding an end to job losses resulting from the closure of hundreds of ticket offices.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast, Mr Lynch said the union would not accept a pay offer which requires job cuts, adding that ticket office closures would make the railways inaccessible to vulnerable people.
Despite the disruption caused by the strike campaign, he said the RMT has support among passengers, adding: “The public don’t want to go where this Conservative government is taking them in terms of the railway.”
Mr Lynch said 2,300 staff members would face redundancy under the pay offers it has received so far.
“We want a decent pay rise, we’re not greedy, we haven’t had an offer of a clean pay rise without strings attached,” he said.
“And we’re not willing to fund these very modest pay rises through jobs cuts, and cuts to the services, that will affect our members and also the travelling public.”
In a separate interview with the BBC, Mr Lynch said that “there will be more strikes if there’s no change”.
Earlier this year, the Rail Delivery Group (RDG), which represents the train operators, made an offer that would have seen rail workers receive a backdated pay rise of 5% for 2022.
A further pay rise for 2023 would then have been conditional on reforms to services.
On 5 May, RMT members voted to extend the strike mandate for another six months.
The rail industry was badly impacted by the pandemic, and industry figures have argued changes to ways of working will be necessary in order to finance any pay rise.
Ahead of Saturday’s strike, the RDG said the action had been “designed to deliberately target passengers who want to enjoy various sporting events, festivals, and the end of the summer holidays”.
A Department for Transport spokesperson said: “The government has played its part to try and end these disputes by facilitating fair and reasonable pay offers, but union leaders refuse to allow their members to vote on them.
“By cynically targeting the bank holiday weekend, and driving more passengers away from train travel when our railways are already losing £10m a day even without industrial action, the RMT’s strikes are damaging its own industry’s future.”
