I'm sadly entirely unable to draw her the way I envision her, so there will not be art, but I want to make a post about my Predacon girl Razormane anyway because I love her.

Verse: Transformers Prime

Pronouns: Any are fine. I usually default to she/her, but Razormane doesn't actually care, it's whatever. She resembles a lioness, so people tend to use she, but then the mane comes out and suddenly everyone goes with he. Meanwhile Razormane doesn't even know what an earth lion is.

The original idea for her came to me in a dream. Literally. And as I awoke with "giant cuddly cat robot" etched into my mind, I knew I had to make her a reality.

Since I knew she had to be a big ol' kittycat, I based her off the Nemean Lion, to give her a mythical connection. Also because hell yeah Greek mythology.

Razormane is a large Predacon, bigger than Skylynx and Darksteel, though smaller than Predaking. Her plating is primarily dark gray, nearly black, with small highlights of gold, golden claws, and golden eyes.

When idle, she resembes a lioness, sleek, and made of smooth, dark metal. When she feels threatened, her plating folds up and outwards, similar to a cat fluffing up its fur to appear larger, revealing golden undersides. Her smooth surface turns into an impenetrable armor of sharp metal spikes, giving the illusion of a golden mane made of blades.

She has a regular bot form, but prefers to stay in her lion form. In her previous life (as in, pre-cloning) she had deep trauma associated with her root-mode, the details of which she does not remember, but the instinct was strong enough to remain even through the cloning process.

Razormane is younger than Predaking, but older than the test tube babies the Autobots destroyed. I'm not entirely sure when exactly she fits into the timeline, and I have decided that I'm just not going to think too hard about that specific tidbit. I want to make my dream a reality, so you're just gonna have to go with it.

Due to the shortage of energon, Razormane spends a lot of her time napping to conserve energy. Someone her size would need to consume more than the average bot, and there just isn't enough to go around, so she just sleeps.

She is generally calm, and has a distaste for causing pain, but very much will fight to defend herself or those she cares about, or hunt for survival. But if she's in a safe environment, she's just a very cuddly overgrown house cat.

She starts out with the Decepticons, but eventually leaves them to do her own thing because she doesn't agree with their morals, and hates that they act like they own her. Afterwards she has an on-and-off thing with Predaking where she originally teams up with him out of necessity; and once more Predacons come into existence, she's not really part of his pack (she does not want to be ruled by anyone, including him), but is tolerated on the territory and just sort of hangs out with them sometimes. They're still her family, so she's simply a rogue that occasionally comes to visit but doesn't defer to their King more than necessary.

Razormane has a very complicated relationship, but also a deep bond, with Predaking, that would be far too long to add to this post, but if anyone wanted to hear about it, I would be elated to write it all down. The one she's shipped with is Starscream, but shipping is an overstatement since that won't happen for a very long time. They're just friends, and at times not even that. Again, I have so much lore. Someone please ask me about the lore.

Razorman will be changed to Grapefruitman

Grapefruitman used to be a more Dionyian inspired superhero but through corporate meddling has been made the default children's hero after the Martian Marshmallow choked on a bag marshmallow during a blowup and stumbled into traffic. (he lived btw)

A Super Day! Eugene and the other kids run into Grapefruitman and takes them under his wing for the day. (Dahlia dips hinting he might be a bit too excited about) Krysa is in the know. They "find" a house where a dastardly villain is plotting supposedly.

Eugene gets arrested (again). The entire department knows him and don't like him, but Pseudo always gets him out. Well almost always.

Krysa in the mercenary ship finally realizing she lost something when she finds Alex stargazing. Heavy feels. Melancholy. Flashbacks

The Basement. Krysa doesn't trust this guy at all, just another reason to win over Pseudo, but he's especially weird about the basement and the strange noises from it. Creaking, cracking bangs and thumps. The "hissing of pipes" sounds an awful lot like screams muffled by shitty sound proofing. Going for growing tension and creepy vibe. Until we aren't. A suffocating feeling. Flashbacks to Krysa in the secret lab. Possibly fast-forward at the end

So. WoW Circle's BfA server. Yea, it's broken too.

UPD if you're curious but don't want to read a bedsheet's worth of my observations: broken a bit, YES! But less than Firestorm. Way less. Actually playable, really.

So: Some things are the same as on Firestorm: Two Thrall's copies inexplicably being on Echo Isles ALWAYS. Swiftclaw dying when the ride ends. Raptor ride to the Spitescales taking you anywhere but there. Fight with Zar'jira going... Not going (quest counts as done after one hit, so you don't get stuck), and voiced dialogues (Pre- and Post- battle, as well as Vol'jin's conversation with Thrall) are all jumbled. Also, Raider Jhash is still an asshole, not giving rides.

Some things are worse: Zuni, that cute blue-braided troll that you're supposed to get attached to and suffer when he dies? You won't get a chance to form attachment, dude takes off as soon as you open the quest window, so unless you want to accept now and read later, you won't be there for whatever he has to say on the way (if he even says anything here. Maybe it's like on Firestorm. Dunno. I'm a "read first, do later" type, AKA A Normal Fucking Person). Not that you'll have a reason to feel sad anyway: due to the battle with Zar'jira not going right, our blue-haired friend doesn't end up dead anyway.

Also, if you create a Zandalari char and decide to wander around your home land before going to Durotar, well, better don't die: Ol' Bwonsamdi be takin' a break from resurrection duty, chillin' in Necropolis and nowhere else (well. Maybe he's in Vol'dun too. Didn't go there. But Zuldazar and Nazmir graveyards are empty).

But! A lot of stuff is working. Way more than on the Firestorm server. In fact, nearly anything below the readmore is me being amazed at the game being actually playable.

So far only noticed one kind of bugged pet: water snake, it's level 0 and therefore not an available target for battling. but still, it's a live snake, not a corpse sliding on the ground.

The shaman DOES tell the tale here! So I guess that "talk to proceed" quests are confirmed to be WORKING!

Battle pets are truly renameable (on Firestorm they reverted to original names). Patrolling windriders above Orgrimmar are running in the sky instead of flying, though.

Zen'Taji's quest is straight up not there. Which is a pity because those plainstriders are working properly, running at low health! Another missing quest is the one where you should look form the tower for possibly drowning people. My guess is that they had same trouble as on Firestorm, disabled both quests, fixed striders but forgot to re-enable their quest and found the tower one unrepairable.

Caravan escort is there AND working, though.

Pet battle quests working too (except for the healing one).

So, there's a rough start and a bit of brokenness, but overall heaps better than Firestorm. I'm staying.

Waptow Twapping! There WAS no Waptow Twapping on Firestorm! I've been missing out with no idea that I was missing out! And yes. Works fine. So does capturing a Razormane (gotta go fast for that, though - it disappears pretty quickly. But I'm a Druid, so going fast is no problem).

Second caravan escort is... Not what I was expecting based on the first, working, one. The lead kodo is running too fast, sometimes underground, sometimes flying, and in such weird looks that despite all the speed it STILL arrives later than the caravan ones.

And the quest can't be turned in. There's a question mark on the map, but nobody/nothing in the world on that spot. At least nobody that wants to talk to me about the caravan.

Created a shaman. Won't be touching him for now, just thought I'd have one for later if I get tired of the druid or something. Th sham, of course, is also a male troll. With biggest tusks available, just for variety (I normally settle for medium/smaller ones).

The other centaur quest doesn't seem to. The text implies a situation should arise in which the quest-giving orc must be kept alive until quest mod appears, but no such thing happens.

Aw. Brewfest's all broken. No rams for me. No mug chucking, either, but hat's at least a known bug that's not just pirate-specific.

But at least flying patrols above Orgrimmar appear to be fixed! They fly! FLY! Their windriders used to just gallop across the skies, but now they're putting those wings to use!

My theories on what happened during the World of Warcraft Alpha/Beta

I remember there being a post on reddit where someone shares their theories on what happened during the alpha/beta, but I can't find it anymore, so I've made my own post about a few theories:

Shaman totems were originally sold by Tah Winterhoof in his shop Winterhoof Totems.

Players originally had to pay in order to discover a new flight path.

The Carrion Bird family was originally called "Buzzard", the Crocolisk family was originally called "Crocodile", and the Scorpid family was originally called "Scorpion".

Bristleback Hunters were originally accompanied by Bristleback Wolves like how Razormane Hunters have Razormane Wolves.

There was a neutral NPC in Deathknell called "Darkhound" that were later removed and had their NPC ID reused by a different NPC.

The Undercity flight master was originally found just outside The Ruins of Lordaeron. After The Sewers were added, he was moved inside the city.

Wool Cloth was originally called "Wool".

Ice Cold Milk used to drop from Cows.

Echeyakee was level 20 instead of 16.

I!!! ok ok these were who i was actually originally going to make helsmets for but then i remembered aron was originally a minecraft oc and she Immediately Took The Spotlight bUT I!!!! made some helsmets of the minecraft crew (even tho their helsmets would certainly not be a crew) to fill @silverskye13's sandbox with!!!!! i will ramble!! under cut!!

He was like the first one (maybe second??) that i came up with an idea for, and it was actually the redesigns that did it! i mentioned that he kept his more sculk-y eye and half of his face hidden bc it could freak ppl out and then also i realized that i'd kinda visualized him as a happy ray of sunshine all the time and it perfectly opened the door to! suppression. like if he's perfect beam of sunshine all the time then he's gotta be suppressing/hiding A Lot Of StuffTM, both physically (hiding as much of his warden influence as possible) and emotionally (only showing others his happiness), so i made his helsmet based off that! :V it's also kinda what firemite is afraid to be seen as i think, bc if he saw his helsmet all he would see is what about himself would scare ppl.

Tyratone was my second!! I'm pretty sure! she might've been first. but Tyr looks around at her friend group and sees that everyone else contributes- fire brings up resources from underground, aqua makes connections to other folks to keep them on good terms, and razor keeps the group protected from physical threats. She just.. has her little indoor farm. Collects crops every so often. Mostly keeps her cats alive. Messes around with firemite n tags along with razor to scout out sometmes. Like what does she even do. (She provides for the group but thinks it a task that any of them could do and that she's not really needed, even tho they do all rely on her to keep them going. Any of them *could* step into that role alongside what they do, it's simple enough, but they all appreciate having her around bc she's fun and enjoys simple things, and keeps the group together.) She thinks it only a matter of time before she's kicked out bc she's not really doing much, and so her helsmet is based around proving her worth through what she can do for other people!

Aqua took me a bit to fully realize; i had a vague idea for a while but it was toeing the line of similarity to tyr's and i didn't want repeats, so i sat and thought for a bit. in his original bio, i'd put that he kinda missed only having two ppl in the group, and that he thinks he's the leader but isn't. ok, so throwing these two things together, i can kinda figure that maybe he missed only having two people bc it meant that his opinions carried more weight, because it was only ever up against one other, instead of three others. he gets ideas of what he thinks is best and what he thinks they should do at any given time and the others tend to go with razor's ideas more than his, and it gets to him. he feels like they don't really listen to him at all, which they do and give consideration to his input, but he gets jealous and upset that razor's ideas are gone with more. so his hels is someone that constantly strives to be heard and to be listened to and to be viewed as important! i'm not actually sure if how i ended up implementing that works or not, but that's what i was able to come up with :V (the cane is just to look neat, and also it's netherite so heavy bonking stick as well should he need it sdklfj)

and then razor! razor. good night he gave me trouble. i wanted to draw him so badly and could not for the life of me figure out what his hels would be of. like i knew he'd be a fighter, but like. why would he exist in the first place?? i kinda thought about how i'd designed him and what personality traits i'd given him- he wears a lot of layers, most of his face is covered, long sleeves, it's a kinda closed-off wardrobe. and he's phlegmatic, so he goes with the flow a lot. maybe his thing is that he's doing what he can to keep the group safe, sure, but he also wants to try to stay a little closed-off, so that if he fails one day to keep them safe, it won't hurt as much and would be easier to move on. tossing around the idea that maybe that had happened with folks he was previously with- before he and fire met aqua and tyr, and maybe even before he met fire. not sure yet, (still not entirely certain on his hels concept at all tbh) but that's the fun of being in the middle of developing characters and their stories!! trying stuff out and seeing if it sticks!!

ANYWAY if u read all of that bLESS YOU ilysm these were really fun to figure out and make!!! also cannot believe i hecking. i did all these today, this afternoon/evening dslkfjsdkl i'm going to bed Extremely LateTM but it is worth it!!! i did it!!!! i'm so happy i love them sm qvq ty silver for writing such a cool hecking story that provides so so much inspiration and such a fun world to play around in, this was a fantastic exercise in character development for these four, who just existed as bullet points prior :V

Making myself a lil intro post to pin

Hello everyone! My name's Two (short for 217), though I'm apparently going by Saturn on this blog, which is also fine! I'm in my mid-20s, agender (they/them) and I really love cats.

I was obsessed with TFA (and Prowl, my first love) when I was 13, fell out of the fandom for a long time, and now I'm back! My husband is still beautiful as ever. He's literally shaped me as a person.

I'm getting into other Transformers media now, but I'm still new! So far I've seen Transformers One (4 times. my beloved), TFP, and I'm almost done with Cyberverse.

I'm a selfshipper and OC enthusiast. I don't care much for canon/canon ships, I LOVE making OCs and throwing them at characters I like instead. OC creation is my favorite ever thing to do so expect to see my little guys. And they are kissing my blorbos. Because I'm having fun 🧡

I'm a romantic at heart and am kissing my blorbos daily. But that said, I'm a sucker for angst and exploring dark themes, and will happily inflict pain and suffering upon characters I love and also any observer that gets attached to them <3 sorry not sorry. I am feral for dooming the narratives!
