Got the name Rabbit from a moment during sparring where he did like a jump front kick with both legs (like a hare) and his CO had his ass for because it's a stupid idea, and "rabbit" is like him being razzed?

Because I hc Roach as Southern, he and Ray met in Basic, in my home state (that will stay unnamed as of now). Roach got transferred to 141 before Rabbit, and it’s a surprise when Rabbit is able to join too! They are joined at the hip whenever they are able.

So uh. An unfortunate reality of me not having seen the reboots is that my tf141 is Soap, Ghost, Price, Roach, and Nikolai.

We kinda sit in a perpetual mw2 before loose ends (if I want to deal with loose ends I give some Divine Intervention (aka give Ghost or Roach a “bad feeling” that makes them wait to hear from Soap and Price instead of going straight to Shephard.) Or I guess I have a vague “They survive Shephard” idea but I haven’t fleshed it out)

I added some of the reboot traits I’ve gleamed (softened Soap a touch and made Ghost a little more gruff/angsty) but generally I go by the og

I always imagine poly141 but the AU I was referring to mainly is my soulmate au (with Rabbit ofc 🥰)

In this AU there are many different ways to have your soulmate connection(s) (so essentially a bunch of different soulmate AUs put together) and usually when you have multiple soulmates they show up in different forms

I decided all of Ray’s but need to figure out all the ways the rest of tf141 connect (I do have some of them)

Ray’s are as follows

Johnny- first words (“Good to have you here, lad” on Ray (made the gender revelation Interesting) and “Rabbit reporting in, Sir!” on Johnny)

Simon- sharing pain (lots of angst potential, he was in major denial about the phantom pains being soulmate phantom pain because he didn’t want to face the guilt he’d feel for all the pain his soulmate would have gone through because of him)

Gary- songs (where if one person is singing a song the other hears it in their head. They found out when Gary realized he could hear Ray singing a stupid song (the “fly me to the moon/ and let me kick its fucking ass” parody) even though he was too far away/near something loud(with hearing protection ofc) and then that song became a running joke and later also an “I miss you” song when Roach went overseas)

Price- sharing dreams (the gulag arc was Interesting for these two)

Nikolai- colors (Nikolai does make Raynbow puns about Ray, ofc he does)

The ones I have for the boys are

Roach-Ghost: sharing dreams (the nightmares are good angst potential)

Price-Nikolai: sharing pain (again. The angst with the gulag arc)

Price-Soap: songs (imagine Soap early in his career singing all the time then after he loses Price he stops and Price in the gulag barely has the energy to sing to try to communicate that he’s still alive (even when he does, Soap just thinks it’s his grief))

Soap-Ghost: colors? (Not as confident in this one, but could be fun!)

(I’m taking suggestions for the other connections and what other kind of AU to add when I eventually get a grasp on reboot Kyle)

Many speeches are given at BYU by General Authorities, and few gain much attention, especially one which was delivered to faculty members and not the wider university community. The anti-LGBTQ sentiments expressed in this talk generated a lot of backlash and attention. I have no doubt that whoever decided this is required reading for Freshman did so because it can be easily weaponized against the queer community.

I'm assuming that adding this to a required class was done without consideration of the queer students who would be there. Or maybe it was done with them in mind to try to scare them into being quiet and compliant.

While the metaphorical muskets are aimed at LGBTQ students, this is a case of BYU shooting itself in the foot.

Raynbow! I don't think I've ever mentioned her here before.

She's my truest self insert/Raysona, I realized I didn't have one that was literally just me 1:1 so here goes.

That "screen" on her chest shows her emotions as colors, and that conductor's baton also functions as a magic wand.

She hears music in literally everything and is really sensitive to harmonics and pitch in particular.
