Old Rayman stuff. Rayman Rangers AU which took place roughly before Rayman Legends. While Ray was asleep, Demi-Heros were created to watch over various areas of the Glade of Dreams. Zak was charged with overseeing the Sea of Lums. Amalie was charged with overseeing Picture City. There were a few others but their art apparently didn't survive time.

Hey there, how are you? My question is how Silver and Alessa meet each other? Was it love at first sight?

Hi! I'm fine thank you. 💚

Well...

Silver and Alessa's relationship is a collaborative project with my bestie @spongysandy that we are working on.

It is not that Silver and Alessa are from the same universe, but we reached an agreement that the universes (called Spongy Universe and Belarix Universe) upon feeling the loving loneliness of Silv and Alessa guide them to a kind of neutral universe, where they meet and can live together without the limitations of their respective worlds.

Also, each one of us handles the characters in a different way, they have different roles both in my AU and in Spongy's.

(In mine, Alessa is a mental manifestation of Silver's lack of feminine love, which makes him fall in love with his own hallucination [still working on it, it's not final]).

In Spongy's universe he is Alessa's boyfriend, but he is a guy who is not related to Ales or Betilla. That is also working ands he has many subplots with the couple very nice. (Credits to Spongy for her magnificent drawing ☺️🤲✨️)

SO...

There's no "specific" way how they met, but it was love at first sight. 💚🩷

I also add, that although both in each universe are children of Ales, THEY DO NOT SHARE COBLOOD, being from different universes, different Ales, different mothers and relatives.

Today's Rayman is inspired by my friend @spongefox's wonderful Looney Tunes-esque artwork! I ended up watching some of those new Tom and Jerry cartoons in the doctor's office and they reminded me of Sponge and gave me the idea for this persona teaser.

This is my Fc Rottame :]

°Ales built him as a gift for Mr.Dark to be his personal Roomba.

°Mr.Dark started claiming that Rottame was a better son then Raymesis ironically, but now he legitimately says that.

°Rottame has a very passionate hobby for studying, but Mr.Darks late night nihilism shouts over loosing against Rayman since R1 has prevented his peace. So after 102 different methods to bring Mr.Dark to ease, his next solution is to kill Rayman. Not out of malice of course, it's just a part of the task.

°Of course he understands eliminating Rayman leads to dire consequences, so he preposed the idea of Raymesis taking Rayman's place, but before they do that they have to raise Raymesis's public image. So they become an actual group of traveling heros, all in the means to attempt making Raymesis more powerful then Rayman, so their wouldn't be too much of an issue if Ray where to just drop dead from deadly nightshade laced tea.

°Randy Feltface is a lose inspiration for his voice, but an old friend of ours Warlord provides our boi

°Its hinted Ales made him from Robo Pirate scrap metal

°His name means "Scraps" in Italian

Ooh a Robot! I love me a robot OC ^_^. I like the clear influence from the Rayman 2 pirates in his design. Also he sounds like a far smarter dude than his appearance would let you believe! Very nice ^_^

I've been a ficto for as long as I could remember. I think it's pretty common for kids to have crushes on characters from the cartoons they watch, but also most people seem to grow out of it. I've had multiple crushes in characters at every stage of my life since I was able to even feel such an emotion. I think my first crush was actually on Speed Racer, not that I'm old enough to have seen the anime when it came out. It was playing on TV at some kind of public building that felt like it was underground. Anyway, it must have been the mid 90s when I was pretty young.

I had always created OC/FCs to ship with characters but self shipping wants something I was aware existed as a concept or practice. The characters rarely looked like me and were more or less what I thought the canon would like.

I don't think I started using self inserts that looked like me until I was in my twenties. Even then, they were highly idealized. Then in my late twenties, I made a self insert that was as close to me as I could get and she was shipped with one of my other earliest crushes;

As a young kid, I was probably between 8 and 12, I was at some office with my grandma, dentists or something, and the office had an issue of Mad Magazine. I flipped through it after having already gone through the Highlights magazine and found a comic called "Monroe". This issue was #477 and the comic was "Monroe and The New Kid". Idk what, but something about him really intrigued me and I didn't realize at the time that I had formed a crush on him. That was the first and last Mad Magazine I had read until I was, iirc, 26. That was when I went to Reddit looking for help to find the comic after years of no luck finding the name, the artist, nothing. I got real deep into that selfship for a while, but given the gray area that it exists in, I put it aside though Mo remains one of my longest lasting F/Os. He ages in the comic (I have an argument for this in fact) and he was actually older than me when I found the comic. He'd be in his forties now if the comic had continued. My crush on Mo is probably the first really influential F/O I've ever had. I like to think he's my first actual F/O. While I don't draw or write for the ship currently, there's this like..alternate plane where we still exist together and we're just living life, vibing if you will. I'll think about him and the Me that exists in his world as if I'm sort of checking in on them. I've had many crushes, many F/Os but now and again, there will come one that really needles their way deep into my heart and mind. Monroe and Snufkin have been the two most strongest relationships I've had. Alan has come close, Rayman was a close third.
