Part 1 of gifs from the Surfside 6 episode Country Gentleman. Reformed gangster Marty Hartman (played by the extremely handsome and underrated Ray Danton) is trying to make a new life for himself in Miami but skeevy reporters hound him and high society (basically all society) shuns him because of his past. Except for the wealthy daughter of a powerful man who is soon found dead...
Dave Thorne (Lee Patterson) is hired by a friend of the deceased to prove that Marty killed the man. But did he? Or did someone else have a bone to pick with him?
Sorry for the lack of Van Williams in these gifs; he was pretty much just treated like eye candy in the first episode before the powers that be realized he was the most captivating and charismatic of the show’s three leading men. No offense to Lee Patterson or Troy Donahue, who I also love. It just is what it is.

Psychic Killer (1975)
My rating: 4/10
Surprisingly dull and plodding, for a movie about a guy killing people with his mind, with a rather nasty misogynistic streak throughout. Highlights, which are few and far between, include
- the guy having visions of the people he hates being cartoonishly, over-the-top evil
- a rather cute cat
- that one horny police guy being driven off a cliff so we don't have to look at his awful jacket anymore.
Beyond that, there just isn't much here, and certainly nothing that can hold a candle to Dr. Phibes in terms of medical malpractice revenge thrillers.
