The new Noga Erez album is out and one of the songs feature Ravid plotnik I was excited because he never does anything in English (and I assumed it’d be in English because Noga’s music always is)he has a full verse in Hebrew in which he ends with yelling “Noga I’m international!!” IN HEBREW! He is ridiculous I love him

Unironically i think this is kind of like how talmidim b’galut have always learned Hebrew when they didn’t live in a Hebrew speaking environ it’s just that I have revs ravid plotnik, Eden Derso, Teddy neguse, and sha’anan street instead of the holy tanakh

current method to dip a bit back into modern Hebrew is nothing but filling a cheap drugstore notebook with Hebrew hip hop that I write the lyrics out of stanza by stanza while I listen - no translation, just trying to match the sound of the speech to words and follow along
