@eah-confessions has declared today side character appreciation day! If I had a week and we weren't in the middle of moving, I'd do at LEAST a few more art pieces, but I HAD to make a shoutout to the actual best teacher at Ever After High: Professor Jack-Be-Nimble

If you didn't read the books you may not know this, but Jack is an AMAZING teacher! You can see in his webisode with Cedar that instead of trying to force her to do something she CAN'T do, which is the usual approach at EAH, he immediately offers her an alternate solution to the assignment that achieves exactly the same goal. And Cedar also feels comfortable talking to him about it, which isn't something we see with most other teachers!

But the real star of the show for me is his one-scene wonder in Unfairest of Them All, which shows he really does care about his students and takes the opportunity to help them whenever he can. Behold his skulking lesson:

(For reference, he spends the whole lesson disappearing and reappearing around the room while Raven attempts to have a very sensitive texting conversation with Cerise. Instead of reprimanding her, he helps her out, and she continues to use his advice throughout the books).

Version without the shading so you can see my man better! I changed the embroidery on his vest to look like candlesticks, but he's otherwise exactly the same. Also, I get more attached to Raven's design everytime I draw her. It's actually just so perfect for her.

imagine an eah au where they both end up following their destinies- and raven is upset that she is trapped in the mirror while apple is trapped in an unhappy marriage and wishes she was with raven- so apple drags around mirror-raven and they bicker all day like an old married couple

I read the first Ever After High novel and I really love how much emphasis they put on music, especially Raven's love for it 💜 If they ever do a reboot, I think it should be a musical 🎶

That one scene from «Way Too Wonderland» where Raven signs the Book of Legends has me in a chokehold, really

She's already an amazing character as she is, but her villain version... Yeah, I watched about 6 edits of her on clock app prior to making this piece, so the conclusion is pretty obvious

(I also took some artistic liberties with her outfit because this collar thing that she has in this particular special is so complicated... And she was in desperate need of gloves, too! So her design's a bit different from the original)

Raven Queen redesign I did a while ago but never posted. This was just for fun and I'd probably do it a little different if I did it again. I think I was going for "If EAH was a little grittier."

Raven Queen in 1890s, Apple White in Italian Renaissance.

No particularly reason for the eras, just the vibe I get from the characters and their designs!
