django form got multiple values for keyword argument
I have a simple model as follows:
RATING_CHOICES = zip(range(1, 6), range(1, 6))class Rating(models.Model): value = models.IntegerField(choices=RATING_CHOICES) additional_note = models.TextField(null=True, blank=True) from_user = models.ForeignKey(User, related_name='from_user') to_user = models.ForeignKey(User, related_name='to_user') shared_object = models.ForeignKey(ObjectDetail, null=True, blank=True) dtobject = models.DateTimeField(auto_now_add=True)
From the above model I generate a model form, in my forms.py as follows:
class RatingForm(ModelForm): class Meta: model = Rating exclude = ('from_user', 'dtobject', 'shared_object')
In my urls I try the following:
url(r'^rate/(?P<form_type>[\w]+)/(?P<oid>\d+)/(?P<oslug>[\w-]+)/$', 'rating_form', name='rating_form'),
And in my views, the following:
def rating_form(form_type = None, oid = None, oslug=None): print form_type form = RatingForm(data=request.POST or None) if request.POST and form.is_valid(): form.save() return HttpResponseRedirect("/") else: return render(request, "share.html", {'form' : form })
Doing this gives me the following error:
rating_form() got multiple values for keyword argument 'form_type'
Additional Details:
Request Method: GETRequest URL: http://127.0.0.1:8000/rate/lending/3/random-stuff/Django Version: 1.4.1Exception Type: TypeErrorException Value: rating_form() got multiple values for keyword argument 'form_type'Exception Location: /Library/Python/2.7/site-packages/django/contrib/auth/decorators.py in _wrapped_view, line 20Python Executable: /usr/bin/python
What am i doing wrong?

Facebook videos would be autoplay with audio on News Feed
Facebook is soon rolling out an update to all its users that would autoplay the sound of a video on News Feed, without users having to tap on it. In a blog post on Wednesday, Facebook said that as people had begun watching more video on phones, they expected sound when the volume on their devices was turned on.
“After testing sound on News Feed and hearing positive feedback, we’re slowly bringing it to more people. With this update, sound fades in and out as you scroll through videos in News Feed, bringing those videos to life,” Facebook said. However, if the phone is on silent mode, videos will not play with sound. Users can also disable the feature of autoplay in Settings.
Earlier on Facebook, you could either scroll through your News Feed or watch a video. But in its latest update, users can now scroll through News Feed and watch a video by minimizing that to a picture-in-picture view that would keep the video playing in any corner of the screen.
“You can drag the video to any corner of the screen, and if you’re using an Android device, you can keep the video playing even when you exit the Facebook app to do something else on your phone,” the social media giant said.
In its new update, vertical Facebook videos will look better with a larger preview in News Feed on mobile devices. The update is available to all watching videos on iOS and Android. Facebook is soon rolling out a video app to stores for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Samsung Smart TV.
“Last year we rolled out the ability for you to stream videos from Facebook to your TV, and this announcement expands this capability. With the app, you can watch videos shared by friends or Pages you follow, top live videos from around the world, and recommended videos based on your interests,” Facebook said.
Users can also catch up on videos they have saved to watch later, as well as revisit videos they have already watched, shared or uploaded.

Now download the movies with JioCinema App
Ever since its launch, Reliance Jio has been offering free data usage, and will continue to do so until at least March 31 under the Happy New Year offer. The catch is that the Reliance Jio Happy New Year offer has a 1GB per day data transfer limit. This is not a problem for most usage, but if you’re using Reliance Jio to watch videos online, then you might use up the limit pretty quickly.
Reliance Jio’s video on demand service JioCinema, formerly JioOnDemand, has a pretty good collection of movies available to watch, and it also added a feature allowing you to download films to watch later, but the catch is that a typical movie such as Bajirao Mastani comes up to 985MB on the medium quality setting, and 1.91GB on high quality. This means that if you are trying to watch at even the medium setting, almost your entire data quota of the day gets used up in downloading this one movie.
To solve this problem, Reliance Jio has added another new feature to JioCinema called Smart Download. This schedules the download to take place overnight, between 2am and 5am. That’s the “happy hours” present in every Reliance Jio plan, under which there are no limits on data usage, and all usage is free. Even after Reliance Jio’s full commercial launch when you’ll have to pay for data, usage during this three hour window is meant to be free and unlimited as per the tariffs announced by Reliance Jio earlier.
This means that you could download an entire movie while you sleep, and this would not count against the Reliance Jio Happy New Year offer free data quota you can use right now, or use up your paid data (once Reliance Jio starts charging users). You can queue up more than one download at a time, and then check on progress by opening Reliance Jio’s My Downloads tab. The JioCinema app shows you how much disk space you have remaining so you’ll know if you need to clear up anything.
It’s worth pointing out that not all films and shows streaming on Reliance Jio JioCinema are also available for download. You can however tap the menu button on the top left, and choose Available for Download to see a list of the movies you can download. This includes the Eros Now catalogue, and also popular English movies such as John Wick.
Last year, Reliance Jio competitor Airtel announced a Happy Hours offering for prepaid customers, between 3am and 5am, where it would offer 50 percent data back to users for all in-app data usage taking place in that window. This is available to all apps through a free API, and all Airtel customers get this benefit without having to opt-in. YouTube has integrated the option in its app. In order to access this feature, all that an Airtel prepaid customer needs to do inside YouTube app is choose the Smart Offline option on their chosen video and select ‘Save overnight with Airtel Happy Hours’.

Higgs Boson inventors developed world's first fertility Contraceptive Natural Cycles App
If you’re fed up of filling your body up with hormones by taking the pill, but don’t trust yourself to rely on condoms, your contraceptive options can end up feeling a little limited.
But now, your Android and iPhone could be the answer to your contraceptive conundrum.
A smartphone app has been approved for the first-time ever as a viable tech alternative to the more traditional safe sex measures on the market.
The Natural Cycles app has been given the official seal of approval by European regulatory body TÜV SÜD, who were acting on the behalf of UK government body MHRA [Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency].
Meaning that it has been extensively tested in clinical trials and given the go-ahead as an alternative to the pill, IUDs or condoms.
Researchers said that among those who use the app correctly, five women out of every 1,000 will experience an accidental pregnancy.
Meaning it is 99.5% effective compared to the pill, which the NHS gives 99% effectiveness.
The study also gave the app a Pearl Index of 0.5 and 7.0. Meanwhile the contraceptive pill has a Pearl Index of 0.3 and 9.0, the Telegraph reports.
The app works by using a smart algorithm to tell you exactly when it isn’t wise to be getting it on.
To use it correctly, women need to record the temperature under their tongue and enter it into the app every morning. It then determines how fertile you are on that day. If it’s green, you’re not fertile at this stage in time and the risk of pregnancy is very low.
If it’s red, then you’re extremely fertile, which means unprotected sex is a no-go zone. Unless you fancy having a baby of course.
The app is already being used by 150,000 women in 161 countries around the world, but if you’re still struggling to come to terms with trusting your phone on this one, we get it.
Although you might be reassured to know one of the co-creators of the app, Dr Elina Berglund is one of the scientists who discovered the Higgs Boson, which led to the Nobel Prize in 2013.

Google Anti-piracy Drive : May Ban Torrent Links in Search Results
Big Hollywood studios and companies have been blaming Google for not taking strict actions against torrent websites. Other search engines are too answerable to studios for ‘promoting’ piracy by listing the content of torrent websites. Although, the search engine giant Google has been persist in taking different steps to filter the copyright infringing content from its results and thus keeps removing torrent links when searched for.
Google, Yahoo and Bing all have pledged to reduce the piracy on their search engines that are accessible to billions around the world. These companies are close to striking a voluntary agreement with entertainment companies to tackle the appearance of infringing content links in search results, reports TorrentFreak.
In 2016, Google was swamped with more than a billion take-down requests.
World famous torrent website Yify/YTS was taken down voluntarily by the owners in last quarter of 2015. One of the most famous torrent website among users KickassTorrents was shutdown last year. Though it was affecting time for the internet community but there were many other torrent websites to fulfill the needs of most users.
With the help of British Intellectual Property Office, multiple discussions between search companies and Hollywood studious took place in order to curb these websites even further.
After the meeting, however, diverse parties agreed on many terms. For instance, it’s being speculated that a draft amendment to Digital Economy Bill committee will allow the government to compel regulations on search engines. Hence, forcing search engines to take more drastic measures.
There’s a good possibility that Google and other search engines aren’t going to roll with this severe actions voluntarily. If the Google doesn’t show the torrent links, the users can still visit the torrent website directly.

Ever wondered your name is responsible for ruining your career!!!
Those With Surnames Down The Alphabet Do Badly In Studies, Don’t Have A Good Start To Career
Once upon a time, when you desperately needed a locksmith or a tow truck, or maybe even to get out of jail, you turned to a thick book filled with hundreds of exceedingly thin yellow pages. The categories tended to start with a plethora of “A“ names. There’s obviously an economic value to being listed first, even if it meant your business was almost unpronounceable.Names can decide our fates in all sorts of ways. In the US, for example, studies show applicants with names stereotypically considered common among blacks can dampen prospects for jobs and housing. Academic papers reveal similar discrimination by Americans as well as Europeans against people with Arabic, Turkish, and other West Asian names.
What about the first letter of your name? Does a name’s position in the alphabet affect anything outside the Yellow Pages? The idea isn’t so far-fetched. People and businesses are listed alphabetically all the time -and not just in the phone book. Their rank can subtly affect the choices people make, with far-reaching consequences.
Investors are a good example. Two studies published last year in the Review of Finance found stocks with names closer to the front of the alphabet are traded more often than those near the end. These front-of-the-alphabet stocks also have higher valuations, one set of researchers found. Authors divined the same effect in mutual funds.
It may seem illogical to choose an investment based on its name. But that’s not quite what’s happening. Many investors don’t have time to check out every stock, so they take a shortcut. “When con fronted with a large number of options, individuals often choose the first acceptable option, rather than the best possible option,“ experts said.
OK, but what about human beings? Are people’s lives and fortunes really affected by whether their last name begins with a “W“ rather than a “C“? Two University of Colorado economists found compelling evidence that the first letter of your last name does matter quite a bit -especially when you’re young.Professor Jeffrey Zax and gra duate student Alexander Cauley analysed data on the lives of more than 3,000 men who graduated from Wisconsin high schools in 1957. They found that those with surnames further back in the alphabet did worse in high school, in college, and in the job market early in their careers. “The effect (of the alphabetical rank) is significant, negative, and substantively large,“ Cauley and Zax wrote. While correlation isn’t necessarily causation, the experts believe there’s a connection.

Worth ₹ 361 Crores Transactions made on BHIM App till date : Government
Transactions worth Rs. 361 crores have so far been made using the newly-launched BHIM application for mobile phones, Lok Sabha was informed on Wednesday.
Minister of State for Planning Rao Inderjit Singh also said the BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) app has brought various banks under one umbrella, making it convenient for users. Earlier, consumers had to use different applications offered by various banks for digital transactions.
Responding to supplementaries during Question Hour, he said while Scandinavian countries have achieved a rate of 90 percent in digital transactions, in India the figure was 3 percent. If the figure reaches 22 percent, it will help cut down black money from the economy, Singh said.
To a question on whether security was in place for digital economy, he said though no system is “101 percent fool-proof”, India being a software-rich nation, it will be able to plug the flaws on its own.
Separately, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) on Tuesday said it expects all state-run banks to join BHIM by month-end.
“Since the customer base of PSBs is very large, their participation in BHIM is of crucial importance for the success of this app. We are confident that once all PSBs are a part of BHIM, the user base will jump multiple times,” NPCI’s managing director and CEO A P Hota said in a statement.
As of date 37 banks including State Bank of India,Bank of India, Bank of Baroda and Union Bank of India, are on the BHIM platform.

Government has received over 1,300 complaints against direct selling and e-commerce companies till December 2016, Parliament was informed on Tuesday.
It also made clear that there is no proposal to bring in a separate law to regulate e-commerce platforms.
Placing the details of complaints received by its National Consumer Helpline against direct selling and e-commerce companies in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs C R Chaudhary said: “The received complaints were dealt with as per consumer grievance redressal procedure.”
A consumer can file a complaint relating to e-commerce transactions in the appropriate consumer forum established under the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, he said in his written reply to the Lower House.
As per the data, 1,386 complaints have been received up to December 2016.
A maximum of 449 complaints were against bookmyoffer.com, followed by ebay (135), snapdeal.com (120), amazon.in (114), flipkart.com (92), whaaky.com (79), shopclues.com (47), and paytm.com (46).

Google Data Dress app can create a dress based on your personality
Have you ever used your smartphone to search for the a bespoke dress or suit for a special event or night on the town? If Google has its way, your phone may soon do the searching for you.
On Monday at Fashion Week in New York City, Google announced a partnership with online-only Swedish fashion house Ivyrevel to “bring couture into the digital age.” The first fruit of the collaboration is the Data Dress, a custom gown with a design reflecting the would-be wearer’s habits and history.
The Data Dress’s embroidery will reflect your daily activity. Over the course of the week, you’ll be able to watch the design unfold as the app gets to know you better.
It is core to Ivyrevel’s ambition to “merge fashion creativity with technological innovation,” co-founder Aleksandar Subosic said. The digital retailer’s skunkworks Fashion Tech Lab, which counts PayPal and H&M Group among its backers, uses trend analysis to develop algorithms that “enhance the direction” of the clothing’s design.
“It’s such an exciting moment,” Subosic said. “The only option today is to buy custom clothing or design it yourself, but many can’t afford to or lack design skills.”
You’ll have to get Google’s Coded Couture app to get started. Once you’ve completed that step, you must grant it permission to monitor you daily activity.  Finally, choose the occasion for your Data Dress — Party, Gala, or Business — and the app will take care of the rest, recording context signals like your location, physical activity, weather, and nearby locations over the course of a week. It’ll note where you eat out for dinner or hang out with friends, for example, and whether the meetups are casual or formal.
A dashboard presents those data points in an easy-to-read timeline. You’ll see the locations you’ve visited over the past seven days and a top-down map of your movements.
At the heart of the Coded Couture app is Google’s Awareness API, a platform that lets developers program reactions on contexts. Trulia, an online real estate app, uses it to suggest open house listings when the weather is pleasant. SuperPlayer Music suggests playlists to match your mood.
But Coded Couture is the first to tap that data for a tangible product. And it’s on trend: A survey of 1,000 shoppers by Bain & Company found that 25-30 percent were interested in designing their own clothing, and that one-of-a-kind products lower return rates, fetch higher prices, and create a “deeper connection” between shoppers and retailers. “While it’s hard to gauge customization, if 25 percent of online sales of footwear were customized, that would equate to a market of $2 billion per year,” Bain partners Elizabeth Spaulding and Christoper Perry wrote in their report.
Ivyrevel hasn’t announced the price of the Data Dress, and the Coded Couture app won’t be made broadly available until fall. It’s launching in “closed alpha stage,” Google said, and is currently being tested by “a selected group of global style influencers” who will post stories over the next few months as their Data Dresses are created. You can sign up for a future trial, if you’re interested.
The Data Dress isn’t Google’s first foray into fashion. In September 2016, it launched Shop the Look, a search tool that surfaces photos of fashion bloggers, brands, and retailers and their corresponding clothing and accessories. Additionally, the company’s Project Jaquard, a pioneering method of interweaving touch panels with conventional fabrics, produces textiles that can respond to taps and swipes like a smartphone touchscreen.
Levi’s Commuter jacket will be the first to feature the technology technology. A touch-sensitive tag will and pair with a phone to perform functions like pinning a location to Google Maps, answering calls, and more. It’s expected to hit retail in the Spring of 2017.

Alibaba wants to Provide Free Internet in India !
Chinese Internet giant Alibaba may be the next major player after Facebook to try its hands on providing free Internet in India. A new report claims that the company is in talks with telecom operators as well as Wi-Fi providers to offer free Internet services in the country.
“We will definitely look at the opportunity to work together with service providers or even some Wi-Fi providers. We are trying to offer lower cost data to users and better connectivity, even free of cost connectivity. Wi-Fi providers and other players can be potentials and we are in talk,” Jack Huang, President of Overseas Business, Alibaba Mobile Business told Business Insider India.
Alibaba is reportedly still working on the plans around its free Internet service in India and is still in talks with “potential partners.” The Chinese company is considering providing free Internet services to states that have connectivity problems. “We actually think in geographic way because in India not every state is suffering from connectivity problem so we will focus more on providing this kind of services to states that are suffering more and also we will have comprehensive analysis on already existing consumers who will actually need this kind of service,” added Huang.
It’s worth mentioning that Alibaba isn’t the first to work on providing free Internet in the country as Facebook earlier launched its Internet.org and Free Basic projects with similar aims. However, both of Facebook’s initiatives met with heavy backlash in India from “net neutrality” advocates, who claimed that Free Basics only allowed access to selected websites thus violating the principle that the entire Internet should be available to everyone on equal terms.

Belkin launch Lightning audio + Charge RockStar for iPhone 7 in India at ₹ 3,999
Belkin’s new Lightning audio + Charge RockStar offers dual functionality for charging and listening. The accessory has been closely developed with Apple, which plugs into the lightning connector outlet making it possible to use lightning audio headphones to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter and charge your iPhone at the same time. The accessory is available for purchase in India, and is priced at a promotional value of Rs 3,999 for a limited period. However, maximum retail price of the accessory is Rs 4,999. Do note, the accessory was launched abroad last year, and has now made its way to India.
With iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Apple took a courageous step to get rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack. While that contributed to a sleek design, it also contributed to a lot of criticism, because the aux on the headphones was replaced with a lightning port, which the device also uses for charging. In other words, an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus user could either listen to music using headphones or plug in the charger. Naturally, to combat this issue, many accessory makers have released a crack to this problem, and so has Belkin.
The adapter supports pass-through charging up to 12W for iPhone and iPads, and up to 48 kHz, 24-bit audio output. The adapter is compatible with Lightning Audio headphones, as well as the Apple Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter. Also, the Lightning audio + Charge RockStar adapter supports remote control and microphone from Lightning Audio headphones, and it works with the Apple iPhone 7 Smart Battery Cases too.
