Aphids suck plant sap and secrete honeydew in both indoor &outdoor houseplants. Though they can reproduce quickly, This Aphid pest are fairly easy to get rid of by natural methods such as inserting yellow sticky traps, removal of affected plant parts & application of neem oil @ required.

Hello love i wanted to ask if you maybe would write something about ruben and a single mom? :)
Gotchu! ❤️
Ruben Dias x Reader - Most important
Enjoy!
You were stressad out because your ex husband was supposed to pick up your son an hour ago and take him to his football game today.
"Mommy, mommy when is daddy coming?"
You stopped pacing back and forth in the living room as your eight year old son entered. He stomped in with his cleats on and dressed in his team kit.
"Are you ready to go?" You asked.
"Yes, but where is daddy?"
He forgot, you thought. Because it wouldn't be the first time your ex husband did this to you and your son. Empty promises was about the only thing he brought to the table during your relationship.
"Let me just make one phone call baby and then I'll take you to the game."
"You'll take me?" Your son frowned. "Wasn't daddy supposed to take me this time?"
"I'm afraid daddy isn't coming this time."
You watched your son hold in his tears as he left the living room with his head to the ground. You hurried to make a phone call, keeping an eye on the watch as it held the time for when the train left.
"Hello, Ruben? It's me. "
You felt terrible about having to cancel your date tonight. But like you told Ruben when he first learned that you were a single mom, your son always comes first.
"It's no worries we'll just take the train to where the game is."
Ruben made an offer to drive you there instead.
"No Ruben it's okay. I wouldn't want to put you out."
A part of you also felt unsure about introducing him to your son. Although you really liked Ruben you two had only gone out for a couple of dates. Usually you wanted to know that a guy was in it for the long hall. You hadn't dated that much since your divorce so you had yet found someone like that. However there was something about Ruben that made him different from any other guy you've dated. Even your ex husband.
"Fine Ruben. We'll meet you downstairs in ten minutes."
You hung up the phone and made your way to your son's bedroom. You found him with his head hiding under the covers.
"Baby. We best get going if you wanna make it to the game in time. I've got mommy's friend picking us up, so no trains this time."
There was movments under the covers, soon your son's head popped up.
"Oh, Isaac." You sighed. His eyes were sprung red from crying.
"Mommy why doesn't dad want to come see me play?" He cried.
You shook your head. " It's not about you baby and don't ever think that again. Your daddy loves you, he's just a very busy man."
A man who loved his job more than his family, you and your friends used to joke.
You pulled Isaac in for a hug, allowing him to stop crying on his own. At some point your phone vibrated in your pocket.
"That's mommy's friend. We better get downstairs."
Introducing Isaac to Ruben was nerve wrecking, especially in Isaac current state. However Ruben was as polite as always, greeting Isaac by shaking his hand, despite Isaac's zero interest in doing so. He kept silent for most of the drive, causing you to throw anxious glances in the rareview mirror. Ruben noticed this and let his hand find yours, squeezing it for reassurance.
"Thank you." You smiled. "For the ride. You really saved us today."
"Anytime." Ruben nodded.
Arriving at the pitch you saw the parents of Isaac's teammates gather in the stands. The kids were already on their side of the pitch, having a light brief with their coach.
"Hurry Isaac." You said. "Ruben and I will take our seats in the stands."
You and Ruben got out of the car, Isaac however, remained in his seat.
"Isaac?" You pocket your head through the door to see him sitting back, eyebrows furrowed and cradling his bottle of water between his hands. "Isaac if you don't get out now you won't get to start the game."
Your son didn't move.
You looked to Ruben with concern. He knew about you situation with your ex husband but also how much your son adored him.
"I'll go talk to the coach." You said. "Perhaps tell him that Isaac isn't feeling well today."
Ruben nodded understandingly. "I'll stay here." He said.
You rushed over to the pitch. The kids that weren't playing were coming in to sit on the bench. Their coach was also headed this in, stopping to take his stand by the sidelines.
"Y/N?" He exclaimed, seeing you. "Did you get stuck in traffic? Is Isaac with you?"
"Yes coach, Isaac is here. He's just feeling a little unwell. I'm not sure his fit to play today."
"Well that's terrible. Isaac is one of our best players."
"I know, it just that..."
"Isaac there you are." Coach said, overlooking your shoulder.
You frowned but turned around to see Isaac sprinting your way with Ruben walking behind him.
"Sorry I'm late coach, can I still start the game?"
"Of course! You're our man son." Voach was quick to usher Isaac out on the pitch to take his place along his teammates. As Ruben approached you all you could do is take your place in the stands with the other parents.
The referee blew the whistle and the game went on.
You were a bit confused seeing Isaac play with such determination. Considering the fact that he was still in tears when you left the house and refused to get out of Ruben's car as you got here.
"Did you say somthing to Isaac to get him out of the car?" You asked Ruben. He must have said something, you thought.
But Ruben just shrugged his shoulders. "I just reminded him of what's important." He said.
"And what's important?" You frowned.
"The price."
"The price, what price?"
Ruben smiled. "I may or may not have promised your son all the McDonald's he can eat if he helped his team win this game."
"Ruben." You gasped. "You did not?"
"But I did." He laughed.
All the McDonald's he could eat is what Isaac got. You had bags full of it getting out of Ruben's car as he dropped you off at your apartment.
"Thank you again Ruben and for helping me out with Isaac." You were hesitant to kiss him in front of your son. Ruben however seemed to understand and settled with smiling at you instead.
"Can we reschedule to next week?" You asked. Hopefully Ruben still wanted to date you after having witness the slight chaos that was your life.
"Of course." He said, to you relief.
"Well then. Thank you for tonight and have a safe trip home."
"I will and thank you for letting me come see you play Isaac."
Isaac smiled with his cheeks full of cheeseburgers. "Bye Ruben, see you later." He waved.
Back home, Isaac had a shower whilst you put his clothes in the washing machine. Once he got ready for bed that night you couldn't help but to ask. "What exactly did Ruben say to you in the car?"
Like Ruben, he shrugged his shoulders. "He just reminded me of what's important?"
"The price?" You sighed.
"No." Isaac chuckled.
"No? What did he say was important then?"
"He said that I should always play for the people that cheer me on the most. Even on the rainy days."
"Oh."
"And that's you mom, isn't it?"
"Me?" You felt a slight jolt in your heart.
"Yes. You never let me miss a game even if it's raining or if we have to take the train to get to the pitch. You never let me miss a game even if you have to miss out on a date with your friend  because dad promised to take me this time but didn't."
"Oh Isaac." You cried."You know you always come first to me, always."
"I know" He nodded.
"Good." You kissed him godnight and stood. You flick the lights off on your way out.
"Hey mom?"
"Yes?" You stopped in the doorframe.
"Can Ruben come to my next game as well?"
You smiled. "Of course he can."

"Gladly I'm not looking to get 'help' from any angel any time soon." His eyebrow arched in a cocky manner; he had never asked for help anyway. He didn't need it. Well, in his head, it was much easier to convince himself that he didn't need it rather than admitting that he had needed it and most likely would continue to need it sooner or later. He just didn't want it to be 'the next angel'. The slighty annoyance that had scratced his brain for a moment was soon washed away with a wider grin, exposing the sharp fangs he carried. "Perfect," he mused.
The hand she was still clutching onto slipped around to the small of her back, gently pressing against her to guide the angel towards his car. Did Atlas have a plan where he was going with this? No. He just knew he didn't want to part ways with this mysterious divine creature who had both saved him and insulted his capabilities of taking care of himself (multiple times), and who seemed to be awfully drawn to him despite the fact she was the one saying they shouldn't be seen together. The thought pleased him.
Atlas had been lucky his keys or car weren't stolen, and he was happy to find the keys in the pocket of his black jeans as they neared the vehicle. The idea of getting blood on his leather seats was not appealing but there wasn't much of a choice - he would deal with that later. Unlocking the doors, the demon was fast to slide into his black Audi; his ride seeming way too expensive and classy for a man his age and well.. his looks. The demon relaxed into the driver's seat, eyes darting to the seat next to him, as if he was waiting for Alyrys to bail on him any second. He started the car, turning the rareview mirror enough to see his face. He wiped the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand to get some more of the half dried blood on his face. It'd been a while since he had looked this fucked up.
"Where am I taking you-?" Atlas then questioned, fixing the mirror he'd used to clean up his face a little.
Atlas had never met whatever a guardian angel was supposed to be - at least he figured he hadn't. He could still remember his death. How it felt; he hadn't died immediately because that would've just been way too merciful for somoene like him. There certainly had been nothing calming or safe about the way he died. As he recalled, he died against his own will, a few feet from the person he blamed the most for his death. It was a cold winter night. If there ever was a guardian angel for him, he hoped whoever they were they'd stay the fuck away from him or he'd rip them to shreds. Alyrys had just done her duty; the thought didn't please him. Not that he was deserving of a guardian angel, nor that he needed or wanted one, he wanted her to want to help him. The craving felt unfamiliar when it struck him, his attention brought back to her when he heard her say his name.
It rolled off her tongue more pleasantly than anyone he'd heard in a long time. Another reason for that being that most of the people in his life called him Remi; a nickname from his last name, rather than his first name. To her, for some reason, he'd given his first name without thinking about it twice. It was almost infuriating how a look of grace lingered on her features, even with a bloodied dress. His blood. Something about tainting her pure demeanor excited the demon that had taken possession of his earthly body some time ago. He seemed to have significantly less control over the urges he faced in his new life. The demon's gaze followed the directions her finger pointed in, the discreetness of the motion and her words only amusing him. She took herself so seriously.
"Rules I don't believe in have never been of importance to me," he noted smugly. On top of that, instead of shying away from his already loosened grip, she seemed to be reaching closer. He couldn't help but chuckle at her comment, the taunting redness of his eyes was slowly settling. Although, the way she was so specific with this only being a one night thing lingered on his mind. He couldn't pin point why. "For one night-? Clearly you're understimating the love affair I have with trouble, Alyrys."
The warmth of her words ghosted against the shell of his hear, tingling down his spine pleasantly. It was then that an idea struck him, nodding towards an empty vehicle on the other side of the yard. "Need a ride?" He was feeling gracious tonight - surely being saved had a little to do with it, even if he wasn't one for saying thank you.

Super Sancho (Part 2)
Tumblr media
Summary - A 10 part series where we follow Jadon Sancho on his journey to the Netherlands in hopes of improving his football performance.
Enjoy!
Dawn was breaking as Jadon rubbed his tired eyes. He was the only man in the bus, along with two older women speaking a language he did not understand.
"Ursem." They kept saying. That much he understood.
Looking out the window he sighted no cluster of buildings like he had done in Amsterdam. The road to Ursem was flat, following the stream of a murky river. They passed great fields occupied by sheep and cows. Jadon thought that he might as well be somewhere in north England.
"Volgende Ursem." A voice called out in the bus speakers. They approached the village.
'Welkom in Ursem.'
The passengers were dropped of in the middle of the road, a stone throw away from the station that was really just small house with the sign "Station," on it. Jadon looked for the arrivals pit, however there was none and so he was left standing in the middle of the road, with his luggage in hand.
"Super Sancho?"
A young man, not much older than himself, stood beside a pick up truck. Alongside him were two children, a girl and a boy.
"You are super Sancho, no?"
Jadon raised a brow as the man crossed the street to get to him. The two children at his heel. The man reached for Jadon's luggage without hesitation, somthing that made him pull back a little.
"Not to be scared." The man said, his thick accent almost intelligible. However, he had kind eyes and a set of extremely white teeth.
"I am Dennis. This is my brother Luuk and sister Jenni."
Jadon stared down at the two children smiling up at him. The girl held a small wooden sign, the words Super Sancho carved in the plate . "We are children of Hendrik. Hendrik our father and Super Sancho's coach."
"Um...okay?" Jadon frowned.
"Yes, yes." Dennis nodded eagerly and proceeded to unhand Jadon his luggage. This time he didn't protest. "We take you to Hendrik now."
"Careful!" Jadon hissed, seeing Dennis throw his luggage into the flat of the truck. Although he was impressed how the young man,  skiing as they cime, threw his luggage up an over his shoulders and into the truck. Jadon thought of farmers strength. Yes that must be it. The whole lot looked like farmers.
"We're very happy to have you Super Sancho." Dennis said, meeting Jadon's gaze in the rareview mirror.
"Um, thanks." He said, trying to move his arms as he sat sandwiches between the two children. "Are you taking me straight to the training facility or the hotel?" It was best to mentally prepare this time around, Jadon thought.
"You mean where Super Sancho will play?" Dennis said.
"Um, sure."
"Yes, I'll take you there."
"And the hotel?" Jadon still hadn't gotten a proper goodnight sleep since he left England. The fatigue slowly creept on him.
"There is no hotel in Ursem." Dennis chuckled.
"But..." Jadon stuttured. "Where am I staying then?"
"With us, no?"
"Us?"
"Yes, me and my family. Luuk, Jenni,  Dennis and Hendrik.
"Right." Jadon turned to look at the children glued to his side. They had yet said a word to him, perhaps not understanding a word of english. And one of them, the girl, was missing her two front teeth.
"Not to worry. We'll make you feel at home in Ursem. Ursem is Super Sancho's new home."
Where had Ten Hag sent him? Jadon thought. He was taken to a farm outside of town. With cows sheeps and chickens walking freely in the surrounding fields.
"You've got to be kidding me, is this it?" Jadon stepped out of the truck, immediately wrinkling his nose. The smell of nature hit him hard.
"Yes, yes, this is it." Dennis nodded, holding his arms open wide as if Jadon should be impressed with what was presented to him.
"I can't stay here." He frowned. His eyes had begun to water with the smell. His eyelids batted uncontrollably.
"Why not?" Dennis expression furrowed.
"Because...." Jadon said, shifting his head. "Where even are we? Where's the football field, where is the indoor facilities, the gym?"
Dennis looked even more confused than Jadon. He looked to his sibllings for support, however, the litte boy was puttering around in a puddle of mud and the other one, his sister,  seemed distracted by the many birds in the sky.
"I don't understand. You don't like?" Dennis asked with genuine concern.
Instant guilt hit him as Jadon saw the expression on his face. "No, no." He shook his head. "It's not that....it's..." He sighed. "Where is your father?"
"Hendrik?" Dennis asked cheerfully.
"Yeah, Henry or whatever." Dennis accent was so thick that Jadon could barely make out the words coming out of his mouth.
"Hendrik is in Heerhugowaard."
"What's that, like another town?"
"Yes, another town?"
"Okay, great." This was his chance, Jadon thought. His chance to return to Amsterdam and home before even having met this ball whisperer Ten Hag had spoken so highly of. This way no damage would have been done to him or this family that genuinely seemed like nice people. However there was no way he was going to improve his football skills training here.
"Dennis, do you mind showing me to my room. I'd like to freshen up from my journey."
"Of course. " Dennis said, flashing his white teeth. "Luuk, Jenni!" He shouted for his siblings and told them somthing in Dutch that Jadon didn't understand. The boy stepped out of the mud and went to help his big brother unload the luggage in the truck. Jadon flinched a little Jenni stepped up to him reaching up her arm to hold his hand.
"Het is deze kant op." She said, tugging at his arm for Jadon to follow her inside. There she led him upstairs through a narrow set of creaking stairs. The house was big but smelled old. Everything in it, the furniture, the paint on the walls looked old. But at least it wasn't cold. That Jadon was thankful for, the fact that the house was powered by modern AC.
"Jouw kamer." Jenni said, letting go of his hand.
It was small room, with a even smaller bathroom conjoined to it.
"No shower." Jadon sighed.
"De douche is beneden."
Jadon's eyes widened in suprise. "You speak english?" To his disapointment Jenni shook her head. "But you understand me?"
She nodded. "Super Sancho."
Jadon stepped aside as the girl skipped passed him towards the bed. There she placed the carved wooden plate that she had brought, on top of the night stand.
"Super Sancho." She said beaming a toothless smile at him before leaving him alone in the room.
Silence fell.
Jadon didn't really know what to do with himself and so he fell back to sit on the bed. "Fuck." He cursed, checking his phone. "No battery." How was he going to call for an Uber now? Unless he wanted to walk back to the bus station. Although they had driven for at least twenty minutes, the walk back to town would be too long.
Jadon kicked of his shoes and stripped himself of his backpack. He might as well take a nap whilst he waited for his phone to charge. He was exhausted from his journey and felt an instant need for sleep as he sat down on the bed. He stretched out his feet, not bothering to uncover the sheets. It would only be a short nap.
Jadon felt himself driftaway as soon as his head hit the pillow. He lay facing his nightstand, with the wooden plate sitting on it. He began dreaming of footballs raining from the sky and players below trying to dodge the odd skyfall. Jadon came swooping in dressed in a cape and gumboots, the same once Dennis was wearing when he, Luuk and Jenni picked him up fromthebus station. They were also there amongst the crowd below the skyfall. The crowd cheered as Jadon levitated towards the sky, his cape blowing in the wind. He flew like superman, one arm stretched out before him as he began attacking the skyfall of footballs with precisionus volleys.
They were all cheering for him, chanting his name.
"Super Sancho!"
