Redesign of the Digifake formerly known as Romon
Astromon
Level: Ultimate (Mega)
Attribute: Virus A Space Alien Digimon that has assimilated data from old science fiction stories. It has a child-like view of conquest and scientific innovation, leading it to hatch world-changing plots without paying much attention to consequences. Because of that, although not quite ill-intentioned, it is a dangerous and unpredictable Digimon that can't be left alone.
Thanks to its beloved drone "Sputnik", it is able to completely analyze the battlefield to predict the perfect course of action. Additionally, its ray gun "Vanguard" can infiltrate the mind of the enemy, turning them into devout followers of Astromon's plans ("Invasion Ray"). Its Special Move is engulfing its enemies with toxic pink slime, causing them to slowly disintegrate ("Sludge Hazard"). Suggested pre-evolved forms: UFOmon, Ghilliedhumon, Garbagemon / Garbamon, Vademon, RareRaremon, Nanomon, Blikmon, Insekimon, Ex-Tyrannomon

I know this is a weird ask, Lady, but are Raremon... okay? My partner tells me not to worry and that he's absolutely fine, even when he digivolves to RareRaremon, and I love him regardless but I can't help but worry, yknow?
I don't like the idea he's actually suffering or something, especially because I know they're technically "failure" evolutions :c
Hey there friend, don't worry there are no weird or stupid questions, especially when it comes from obvious love and concern for your partner's well-being.
To answer your question, yes Raremon, and by extension Rareraremon, are totally fine. They're just a species of Digimon that evolved to fit a niche just like any other. In the Digital World, Raremon fill a crucial role as decomposers that break down junk data which if left unattended could spawn low level virus Digimon and potentially lead to ecological imbalance.
That being said, I would also like to address your word choice in "failure evolution". It's a common misconception that Digimon will take a handful of forms if they're mistreated or in a sub-optimal environment. There's no such thing as a failed evolution and the only failure when raising a Digimon would be to not love them enough, no matter what form they take.

Digimon Ghost Game #61 Review
When the first thing we see in an episode is a woman’s violent death, you’re prepared for this to be intense. But you also expect it to mellow out at points before drawing you back into the big action. That doesn’t really happen here. The violent deaths may stop, but we go straight into details of the closed-casket funeral, Kotoha’s first run-in with Manami’s revived corpse, and even the initial investigation making some harrowing observations. It only escalates from there, with more shambling dead action, evil Digimon watching their every move, and the kind of enemy you get when you don’t stop ramping things up. We’ve seen Ghost Game fail to have any chill, even in episodes less likely to contribute to the overall story than this one, but here the storytelling manages to keep up the whole way. That’s what makes the big moments work.
The real miracle in its success is how much of the heavy lifting comes from one-shot characters. And one of them’s dead! Like any time new characters are thrown our way, we have to be told their background. But from the first sight of Toru we don’t have to guess at much else. We quickly get a picture of someone shattered, desperate to get his love back and indifferent to the reality of his newfound necromancy. The quiet moment where he’s content holding her, despite her being visibly not right and her touch taking a physical toll on him. This scene speaks both to what their relationship meant to him and to the inevitability that this is going to end very badly.
Wisely, the episode avoids putting everything on their shoulders, especially regarding Kotoha. Unlike Toru, she’s not that interesting outside of her brush with dead people, so she calls in the cavalry fast so the mains can suffer with her. And boy do they, especially when the show realizes the Digimon are basically at full power and they can throw just about anybody at them. That anybody is a ZeedMillenniumon birthed from human data. Like we said- no chill. Hiro’s moral objection to killing Digimon is not only called, but raised as he and Ruli now have to give the order to finish off Manami. Like Rareraremon, she’s basically dead, but we see how much they hate it. It’s a more compelling struggle dealing with it this way than your typical fight against a destructive abomination. There are plenty of points of interest that could be relevant long-term, but we’re better off not sweating them and appreciating this story for what it is. Banking on anything in this show being relevant long-term is a dicey bet anyway.

DIGIMON GHOST GAME: AKA: How to make the fanbase desperate with an unexpected ending.
Unlike Adventure:2020, I haven't commented much on this season because;
Story pacing is different (horror stories vs season 1 reboot)
Many of the references I needed to go after and the chances of talking nonsense were great. And I can't stand to hear more irrelevant drama than I already listen to offline.
But I really wanted to talk about Ghost GAME, and now that the season """"ended"""", I can talk a little with my opinions (and spoilers soon if you don't want to, don't read. Enjoy other of my posts or go to another blog you like, I'm not holding you back 🙂)
Taking everything out of the way, let's go to the beginning :
1 - The delay for tamers/chosen children/human heroes to appear and develop as characters.
I'm going to take those shots soon because it was one of the things that pissed me off the most.
Ruli joined the team in episode 3 and got the adult form of Angoramon in episode 15.
Kiyo joined the team in episode 5 and reached Jellymon's adult form in episode 10, if I'm not mistaken.
After waiting 12 episodes to reach the adult form compared to Kiyo who was only 5, she only reached the Ultimate form in episode 35. 20 more episodes. Kiyo achieved Ultimate form in episode 29...
Hiro already reached adult forms (Red, Blue and Green) in episodes 2, 7 and 12. The Ultimate form came in the episode 25...
And most of the time it was Hiro and Gammamon who solved everything, leaving the other humans and digimon in the background. Like the protagonists of the original Adventure rooting for the Megas to win because they are nothing but Ultimate form and the enemies are too strong for them.
And want to know when the mega forms arrived? Episode 56 for Hiro, 58 for Ruli and 60 for Kiyo.
And the season ended at 67... and the last two episodes Diarbbtmon and Amphimon barely served as relevant fighters... They were more like glorified punching bags.
2 - Digimon do not fight to the death.
It may sound morbid but it's a fact: The enemies fight to kill, the protagonists don't fight seriously because they don't want to hurt the other digimons.
Apart from GulusGammamon (I already got to him) the protagonists killed at least 2 digimons: SimbaeAngoramon killed Digitamamon and the three Ultimate killed RareRaremon.(No, Shadramon was already half dead before Datamon messed with him. Tetismon didn't kill him.)
It makes it seem like they don't really fight. And all they do is sit the shit out and then make up... which is kind of disappointing after the literal demon of lust just walks away.
3 - GulusGammamon
When he first appeared, NOBODY expected that the sweetest marshmallow in the world had the literal devil inside the body. But since every digimon protagonist has to have a dark evolution, it was to be expected.
Whenever GulusGammamon appeared it meant that someone was going to die. No jokes. That was basically it.
'Oh, this Digimon is too bad! What do we do?' 'Oh! Gammamon evolved into GulusGammamon!'
The worst part was what they did to him in the end. From Gammamon's suppressed original personality to the final Boss of the season. It was all so thrown in the face that there are still people numb from the shock.
And then there's the fact that he IS A FUCKING ALIEN DIGIMON FROM ANOTHER PLANET!!?That was contaminating the entire digital world to form an army to face a Galactus from the Digimon Universe!!??!?!!
4 - Espimon
For the first time, after Xros Wars of course, the protagonist won a secondary Digimon for his team. But my holy Christ... what a soap opera.
He was introduced in episode 38 but didn't reach his adult form until EPISODE 62!!!
This is all because he thought Hiro was a 'fake Hiro' because he wasn't practically identical to his father.
5 - THE END OF THE SEASON.
To say they hooked up for a second season is calling me and all fans idiots.
It was so rushed, but so rushed that it seemed like fanfic that the author got lost and decided to tie all the ends at once but left a lot up in the air.
The Digi-Galactus only coming 2000 years from now, a Country of Digimons in a space between the Digital World and the Human World*cough cough Xros Wars cough cough*, all human protagonists becoming diplomats as children. It looked like the Meme of Yamato becoming an astronaut at the end of Digimon 02...
But I'm not saying that the fight between Regulusmon and Siriusmon was bad... But three Megas almost losing to an Ultimate was a forced fall due to the plot armor.
I hope there is a second season, or movie or OVAs to end the story, because it was very... Empty at the end...

This episode’s atmosphere reminded me of the Ring. Japanese version.
OF ALL THE THINGS TO SHOW UP WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE ZEED MILLENIUMON!_?
What’s next?! D-Reapers?! Apocalymon?! Eaters?!
Kuzuhamon and Lilithmon was one thing, but Zeed Milleniumon was a Digimon you kept for the final episode after the mains had all levelled up to the max!
I just talked about Ryo the other day, and now his partner decided to show up…
Did Manami’s spirit survived the attacks? I hoped the attacks did not obliterate her soul.
Gammamon still believed that those who died went on a journey.
Hiro’s Digivice glowed, was that the reason why Blacktailmon Uver always there when they needed?
GG did not deal the mains’ personal problems, but the personal problems of everyone around them.
Hiro keeping Moon Milleniumon was equivalent of keeping a portable sentient nuclear weapon.
This episode was as tragic as Darklizrmon and Saberdramon and Rareraremon.

in the mods personal opinions what is the scariest digimon in existence?
(Dracmod: probably one of the ones that can LITERALLY cause the end of the world? There’s a lot of scary ones out there but being able to just…. Destroy everything simply by existing is rather frightening! I know there’s multiple ones that can do this but I’m thinking specifically if the one dragon-y one in ghost game, I can’t think of the name of it right now
GabuMod: like legit scary... it's tough to think up which one i consider scary.. but just by how it was in Ghost Game, RareRaremon was pretty spooky in his episode, especially w/ how he made zombies so casually the way he did.... course there's prolly other ones I can't think up right now but yknow...

One thing that’s always kinda unnerving in Ghost Game, all the incidents that are caught by the kids because they’re just in the area at that very moment. Rareraremon, Shaujinmon, Doumon, Calamaramon, ShogunGeckomon, and now this are the ones that immediately come to mind.
Makes you wonder if any of these just slip under the radar, since they happen in a different city they weren’t planning on travelling to, or hell, if it’s even just Japan dealing with Digimon incidents in-universe.

The Gray Garden main girls Digimon headcanons
(https://www.reddit.com/r/digimon/comments/seodj0/ive_seen_a_lot_of_custom_evolution_lines_so/) link to the original template, made by reddit user u/its-me-its-me-itsJTP
because if you guys didn't know, i'm a pretty big Digimon fan, so, i came up with the great idea of giving the 4 main girls of TGG a Digimon partner, let's start.
Yosafire:
Gigimon > Guilmon > Growmon (Growlmon) > MegaloGrowmon (WarGrowlmon) > Dukemon (Gallantmon)
explanation:
since Yosaf is the "main" protag of TGG and she has fire powers i decided to give her fire element, "main" Digimon of Digimon Tamers, because i think Guilmon's personality in Tamers and Yosaf's personality in her game kinda match, and also Guilmon has bat/demon like design alongside his dinosaur looks.
Froze: Koromon > YukiAgumon (SnowAgumon) > Yukidarumon (Frigimon) > Panjyamon (SnowLeomon) > Hexeblaumon
explanation:
since Froze is Yosafire's best friend/canon girlfriend, despite both of them being basically the opposite both in personality and powers (ice to contrast Yosafire's, well...fire), i decided to make Froze's Digimon line be both complementary and opposite to Yosaf's. starting with YukiAgumon, an ice themed reptile Digimon to be a foil to Yosafire's fire based Guilmon, to a more mammalian route to contrast Yosafire's reptilian/dinosaur line (and also because the Digimon of the "rival" of the protag is usually an ice themed mammal), and finally caping the line off with Hexeblaumon, a blue, ice themed knight Digimon to match and also oppose Yosafire's Dukemon.
Macarona: Gummymon > Terriermon > Galgomon (Gargomon) > Rapidmon perfect > SaintGalgomon (MegaGargomon)
explanation:
there's a really simple reason as to why i chose the Terriermon line for Macarona, they're both cute and badass and can kick your ass to oblivion, that's it, really. (and also green)
Rawberry: Tokomon > EbiBurgamon > Burpmon > RareRaremon > Bacchusmon
explanation:
because of Rawberry's design and personality in the game, i chose to make Rawberry's line be a combination of three subjects, the colour pink, the feeling of hunger, and also a more horror, ,monstrous approach by the end of it. the line starts with Tokomon, an adorable little Digimon that becomes less adorable when revealing his ginormous, teeth filled maw, then to the less threatening , pink EbiBurgamon, to fit the whole food/hunger theme, this then leads to to big boi Burpmon, wich keeps the whole pink and hunger/eating theme, still keeping the "cute" aspect, before throwing that out the window with the horrifying RareRaremon, to match Rawberry's terrifying fits of hunger near the end of her game, and finally ending it off with Bacchusmon, a powerful, voracious and constantly drunk member of the Olympos XII, wich has the power to dissolve other Digimon into data wich it can snack on later.
whew, that was a long ass post, my longest so far i think, i hope you guys enjoyed it, maybe i'll make another one with the rest of the TGG cast, lather down the line :D

Wait I should make this a poll. I'm getting a digimon vital bracelet and one digimon card for it but I'm torn between two different selections
This one has a digimon I like at every evolution stage including Rareraremon which is one of my overall favorites and I don't care for a lot of fully evolved Digimon but this one can end on the highly acceptable deathmon or devitamamon
This one is all renamon and digimon I don't care for but can end on parasimon, which is tied for my #1 favorite digimon and the only fully evolved one that's really in my top ten. They put it on this one just because it was Renamon's nemesis in a movie
