a lovely anon has recently reminded me of the gospel that doja cat spoke, about men with big beautiful noses that are made for face sitting, riding, and everything in-between. and of course the only man on my mind at the moment is benjicot so i’d like to talk about it. him. everything.

firstly, i’d like to mention the moments where he’d crave being between ur legs the most. so prone to getting himself into fights, knocking some bloody bracken to the floor just to immediately turn tail back to the blackwood castle walls. storming up to ur shared chambers and bullying himself between ur legs until he can drown himself in everything that is you. and i do mean bullying in a literal sense, interrupting whatever it is u we’re doing in ur shared chambers, dragging you to the edge of your bed and parting ur thighs for himself. broad shoulders holding them open as ur thighs rest on his shoulders and his thumbs pressing bruises into the curve of ur hips…

or, in the rare chance of a marital dispute [he fights too much and he’s doesn’t understand what the issue is as that’s the blackwood way. but god do you mouth off about it. regardless!]

he can’t stop himself from manhandling you just a bit, pulling you on top of his face and shutting you up for just a little while. hops you’ll cède ur complaining when he does nothing but make you moan. pushing ur pretty skirts up until they pool around his head and he’s face to face with the part of you that could never deny him. A firm bruising grip keeping you from being in control of ur own hips, as he’s the one who grinds your perfect cunt against his face. his mouth and nose making you feel better than his fingers ever have. his broad nose bumps against ur bundle of nerves in the most delicious way. toying his thumb in and out of ur entrance while sliding his hands up and down ur body, violently anticipating the moment that you’ll reach ur peak and paint his face in ur essence.

but just between us, i believe that his favorite part of the entire evening would be after you’ve peaked. when you’ve got the beautiful sheen of sweat coating you and your panting on top of him, now moved back to rest on his chest or stomach. looking down at him while he stares and studies you like the work of art you are. gently lowering you back to the bed and looking up and you, like he knows you aren’t quite satisfied yet. and the night is so young…

Ah, it’s the beloved Butler’s birthday today. You gazed at him from your side of the bed, enjoying the look of tranquility that only sleep could bring him. Your hand reached out to rest on his soft cheek, nuzzling your face closer to his. A soft smile spread on his lips, and his arms wrapped around your torso.

“Good morning, hun~” You whispered before he could say anything, enjoying the slight heat radiating from his face.

He hummed and kissed down your neck in an affectionate manner, a routine he’s caught on to whenever you sleep together. “Birthdays don’t mean much to a demon like me, but thank you, my love. I appreciate it nonetheless.”

Mornings like these were always sweet, and calming. A rejuvenating way to start the day, like any other day, full of chaos. You made sure no one would disturb Barbatos and you during his birthday. Though you had to compromise with a birthday celebration at night because Diavolo wanted to have a proper celebration; it’s going to be a small party full of close friends and happiness, just the way Barbatos likes it. Your hands buttoned up his shirt for him while you two talked about anything and everything. You didn’t miss the light in his eyes when he mentioned wanting to try out a specific rare tea, nor did you miss the lovesick look he gives you.

Once you two are ready, you hold his hand and leas him out of the Demon Lord’s Castle. “I know the perfect place to have breakfast at!”

“Oh darling, you love leaving me in suspense, don’t you?” He chuckled, his voice soft like velvet and jovial. Every step he took felt lighter than usual. Barbatos never cared for birthdays, finding them frivolous and boring. It was just another day in his immortal life, nothing special to celebrate another year of living when he himself has forgotten how long he’s lived for. Everyone else seemed to love to make it a huge thing; in a way it’s endearing, but the preparations and planning is just another chore in an already busy day.

But with you, my how you’ve changed him. With all tour little hints about how you’re going to make this day extra special has made him oddly excited. A tiny human, barely has lived a fifth of his life, has managed to cabe into his heart and create a cosy nest in there. Barbatos wouldn’t say he was the coldest person, but he knows it isn’t easy to get close to him. Yet how you’ve managed to wrap him around your pinkie is almost admirable.

Barbatos squeezed your hand gently, and pulled you closer to his side. His hand slipped around your waist and smiled. “If at anytime you feel uncomfortable, do tell me.”

You just smiled and leaned closer while walking down the eccentric streets of Devildom. There were all sorts of activities you planned. First, the cat cafe; next, a stroll through the park while eating some steamed cream buns; then, to the museum!

And yet, here you two were, taking refuge in an arts and crafts store from the acid rain.

“I’m so sorry Barbatos, I- I should have checked the weather..”

“No, no, it wasn’t your fault. If I had been in my right senses, I’d have known earlier.” He tried to reassure you, but your frown only deepened.

You sighed, for what felt like the hundredth time, rubbing your hands together as you looked around. Your gaze laid on some beads, and now you knew how to save this ruined birthday date! “So.. there’s this trend going on in Devilgram, would you like to join it?” You slowly turned to look at him, the once brooding, dark look from the ruined day being cleansed by the excitement in your expression.

“All I need is you, for my birthday.” He held your hand and kissed it, enjoying the blooms of red roses on your cheeks.

Pleasant moss colored green and almost lime green beads lines the bracelet with the enchanting colors of your eyes. It wasn’t much, but to Barbatos whose love language is gift giving and quality time, it was almost like the Celestial Realm. He had the most softest gaze, and the sweetest smile as he watched you carefully slip the beads in the thread. The perks of being as efficient as he was, he could spend the rest of the time gazing at you.

“My dear?”

“Hm?” Your eyes never left the thread as you tied it.

“Thank you.”

You paused, and looked up with the brightest smile. “This wasn’t what I had in mind, but I’m glad you’re enjoying it.”

A moment of silence as you slipped the beaded bracelet on, the sound of the beads clashing and the patient smile of your partner’s distracting you both from the rain’s abrupt stop.

“For many more years to come, I hope I’ll be there for all your birthdays.” Wishful thinking, but no need to ruin the mood with depressing thoughts. “I’ll never ever let go of you Barbatos. I hope you know how special you are to me.”

You held the hand Barbatos was wearing the bracelet on with yours, and locked eyes with him as you kissed his palm, his fingers following.

“One of the human traditions is to kiss their partner the number of times as their age on their birthday. It’s going to take a long time, shall we go home before the party starts so I can get a head-start?”

Barbatos is a powerful demon, able to control time, and easily win any battles. But with you, he’s reduced to nothing but a lovesick demon ready to go to war with al three realms for you. Birthday’s weren’t all that special to him, but you were, and that’s all that matters to the beloved butler.

Me to @signed-sapphire for the legendary number of 50 Questions Galore they sent me:

Heads up though, you might notice there’s certain questions skipped. I’m either not able to answer some of the asks at all OR they’re either some art requests that I haven’t finished and will post in future posts. So I had to skip them for this post unfortunately…. I apologise as such. 😅

1. How do you plan to show the songs?

Uhhhhhhh, idk tbh. I’m really just going with the flow of what this story brings me. You can’t wait to see what the RFTS!plot has in store? Yeah, me too.

4. Who’s voicing Valentino and the main cast?

For Valentino, I’m not sure. I’m debating whether it should be younger Bambi or Ronno’s VA. But he basically has an actual kid’s voice this time rather than a deep-sounding one. (Because honestly, I found that a bit weird personally). For the the other characters, I don’t really mind the voices they have canonically.

And I think I’ve mentioned this before, but even though Sueño can’t speak, I could hear him singing this in this voice hypothetically.

6. I know Asha will have a different outfit by the end, but do you have different designs for anyone else?

Yeah, I do actually. Some characters have a different outfit to better reflect their current context. (Like how Sakina would have work clothes similar to Asha.) But I don’t want to reveal most of them at the moment since I would like to keep them a secret for now.

7. Some Gabo doodles, if you don’t mind. I rarely see the short king in any Wish Art.

……. 10. What made Amaya fall in love with Magnifico? What changed?

Amaya had a family who greatly discouraged her interest in studying magic and potions since it’s against what their family has done for generations. Meanwhile, Magnifico who was adopted as Rosas’ prince, is expected to learn magic but COULDN’T because he struggles to do so since he hasn’t moved on from his trauma.

When these guys were around 16-15 years old, they were mutual best friends. Mag offers Amaya to read from his magic books while he finds comfort in just having a genuine friend who doesn’t remind or push expectations onto him that he hears everyday in the castle. She’s like an escape from the stresses he has in there.

In their future years, Amaya grew to fall in love with someone who promised her the world if she only asked for it. She finds bits of herself in Mag, as both were people with crushed dreams that deserve better. (In their POV anyway.)

Falling in love was not at all what she expected since she used to believe sympathy would only hold her back from exploring the limits of magic. But you know, Amaya’s as much as a tragic character as Magnifico is.

12. Any fun fact about the Royal Couple? (You can tell who I’m most invested in. lol.)

The only reason Espino, the royal cat, is in the castle is because Amaya wanted him around. Otherwise, if it were up to Mag, that cat is out to the streets. He’s not very fond of animals and he considers them as pests. Though, Espino gets small bonus points from Magnifico just because he keeps the castle clear from mice which he especially hates.

(Good to know you’re enjoying ‘Grand Despair’ while it lasts :)

13. This may be weird but…Body Swap! How would Hopes and Dreams react?

Asha would have zero idea how to get star magic under control. Meanwhile, Sueño finds an interesting realisation.

22. Give some more lore on Asha’s father. Are you keeping him as close to the source material as possible? Will we see him in flashbacks or something?

You’ll definitely get to see Tomás at certain points in the story. Either in the short prologue, mentions and flashbacks. He’s generally a friendly guy but at the same time, is also assertive to defend what he thinks is wrong. But even though his life was cut short, Tomás ended up inspiring more people than he thinks. Especially his old friend, Sabino, who hasn’t given another wish or attended any more wish ceremonies after his death.

I don’t think we really knew much about Asha’s father at all in the canon movie, but I’ll pretty much be close to what is depicted there already with some more detail on how he made an influence in the lives of those he loves.

24. More lore about the Astral Realm!

Not all Wishing Stars have the strong desire to venture down into the human realm someday and that’s completely fine. They can still guide their wishmaker from above. But for those who do want to, they need to answer one important question first:

“Why do you grant wishes?”

Since they would be going down to earth by themselves ALONE with none of their elders to guide them this time, their answer to this question serves as their anchor in case they get lost or distracted. Answers do vary and some may be the same among stars, but that’s fine. As long as they’re sincere with all their core on their answer. Some examples may be: “I like to see them reach their very best and reap their deserved rewards.” Or “I like watching them journey and discover themselves.”

This scene is one of my dotpoints I came up with but I’m not so sure anymore if that would still fit in and whether I should scrap it. Regardless, I thought this would be a nice little thing to show you all. Proof that I’m indeed working on it 😅

29. What’s Amaya’s opinion on the other Wish AU Mags?

I’m not exactly sure how different her opinions would be on each of them since I think we all decided to have our fun with Magnifico just being a shameless show-off and fun evil villain. I’ll try though.

Amaya would think KOW!Mag reminds her a lot of her own husband, also short-tempered and a disgustingly sweet romantic at times. She’s kind of a play-hard-to-get girl though 😂. One thing she does notice is that what WRTS!, Wish Granted! And KOW!Mag have in common is how loud they are with their ceremonies. Is that a universal Magnifico thing? Eh. There sure is a lot of interesting knowledge to learn from these universes. Hmmm.

TKoRaT!Maggy has that same pained look that falls on RFTS!Mag whenever he’s sulking by himself and needs time alone. Usually it’s because of his old village trauma. It’s an intriguing but ever so familiar cycle she recognises well.

Meanwhile. TFS!Mag is……different, she would say. Not exactly good different. I kinda imagine her eyeing this guy like a cat. This Mag just gives off a very different vibe of non-ruthlessness(?) that she’s not used to.

30. Same for Mag, but vice versa.

RFTS!Mag gets very very very familiar vibes with KOW! And Wish Granted!Amaya. He finds it slightly amusing since it feels like his wife just became a part of some triplets. (He jokingly asked RFTS!Amaya if she had any sisters she never told him. The woman wasn’t amused. She doesn’t really like being reminded of her family.) I’m sorry TKoRaT! And TFS!Amaya, but you’ve made the decision to adopt Asha as your daughter and so he thinks lower of you now. Although…the TKoRaT!couple might just get to redeem themselves for that since they sound interesting enough. They’re going to have the ditch the girl though at some point.

WRTS!Amaya just feels off. He doesn’t know what exactly though? Is he losing his mind or something? Ugh, I think he could use devouring another Wish Bubble just in case…

31. You know what, for Asha and Sueño too!

Oh boy, here we go. 😂

Asha will NOT be able to handle Wish Granted!Star’s energy. It’s so different from the silent but still lively conversations she has with her Starboy. Star just can’t bring himself to stop talking, can he? 😅 Asha thinks WRTS!Aster and TKoRaT!Star are adorable. Cielo may be a bit much at times with his light teasing and flirting, but she’s aware he means well.

I could see Asha’s non-hesitant empathy, patience and genuine concern to Haedus would be a huge comfort for the poor guy. (Trust me, she’s done this plenty before.) She’s a bit surprised to see Naos and Nembus but I think they’d get along just fine. She’s pretty good with playing with kids from her experience with a mischievous Valentino. And lastly, KOW!Aster is a total sweetheart that she jokingly comments could rival Sueño’s. (That comment caught Sueño’s attention quickly lmao.)

MEANWHILE:

Sueño is more hesitant and unwilling at first to approach humans by his own accord. He’ll still keep a short distance buuuut… if they’re just another version of Asha, it can’t be that horrible, right?

KOW!Asha’s drawings are a familiar sight for him and he’s impressed that she could bring her own drawings to life. Same goes for WRTS!Asha with her magic wand. Maybe they’re friendly… Maybe they could both do that together :D He’s neutral with Wish Granted! And Aled’s Asha for now until he gets to know them better.

Sueño recognises that same shyness and timid nature in TKoRaT!Asha. (It’s weird how she does the same thing RFTS!Asha does of turning their head away and hiding behind their hair when he innocently just looks her way.)

And then there’s…….HER. TFS!Asha. Cielo talks about her a lot….😬. But you know, that girl scares him.

Unfortunately, Sueño is staying a relatively farther distance away from the last two Ashas I mentioned. Why? Idk, probably the fact that they’re the daughter of Mag and Amaya-

I have a feeling you did this so he could finally find out what his name, ‘Sueño’ translates into. Lol, nope. Not yet he’s not.

He still appreciates the gesture though, but the guy got distracted by the other cool features and apps this weird magical mirror-tablet thing(?) had and completely forgot all about the Owl app.

33. Will Asha ever attempt to learn Celestial? Maybe with a candle? Like Morse Code? Idk.

Idk. Speaking Celestial is really just stars exchanging screechy sound waves to each other telepathically like words, while their glowing sequences indicates the mood and tone of what they’re saying. Maybe if Asha comes to learn how to harness light magic on her own, she’ll be able to at least convey emotions such as happiness in it by controlling the brightness and duration of each flash.

35. How are you planning out your story?

I usually think of what main message I’m trying to get across first and build the story around it. After some character and world-building stuff (that I keep adding to because procrastination), I put the key scenes I could think of in bullet-point format and then just think up some in-between scenes that could occur between those points.

Usually though, the most usual process is that a random concept/idea pops into my head and then I immediately type it down so I won’t forget it. It’s basically my thing now to organise the giant mess of reminders into comprehensive plot lines.

I’m not writing the story at this point. The story is choosing to expose itself to me XD

Another main thing I do is listen to my Spotify playlist of this AU, read the Wish Artbook, or rewatch a movie that has inspired the RFTS! plot in some way.

As I’ve mentioned in my last post on how the magic system works in the RFTS!AU, Magnifico eats wish essence to reverse the costly effects of using Curse Magic. To put it simply, he uses them to make him more mentally stable.

42. What exactly does Asha’s job entail?

Being a king’s apprentice is a way to gain experience and learn how to use magic by the king himself, so you could use the attained knowledge as to however you want. Share the talent with Rosas or Go out into the world.

However, when Magnifico’s reign started, he forbade magic usage other than he and his wife with the claim that it’s for the greater good and safety for Rosas. (He kinda had a point since criminal activity and accidents did decrease in number after that rule.)

Since Mag doesn’t really need an apprentice, Asha is more of an assistant now, following in her dad’s footsteps before her. She’s tasked to do help with whatever Mag might need around his study such as keep the fire going or organise his papers. But Mag doesn’t really like having her around a lot, (since she asks a lot of questions about his wish-keeping system) so he purposefully tells her to go carry out outside tasks such as go into the garden and help the gardeners or something.

44. How was Rosas founded?

Nearly a century ago, the kingdom was first built. I’ve read in the Art book that Rosas was apparently named to reference ‘Beauty and the Beast.’

Like, ok….?

Anyways, I found that roses are meant to represent love, rebirth and beauty. So I decided to add more onto that than just have it as another reference. The kingdom’s founders wanted Rosas to be a place where people who are wary and feel outcasted by their homes can find and start a new beginning. To ‘Rebirth’ and have a second chance to find the ‘beauty and love’ in their lives again,

Blue and white were made the royal colours because the blue was meant to stand for trust and reliability and white for new beginnings. Symbolising the past kings and queens’ responsibility to have their talents in sorcery be used to serve the people who come here. Thus, Rosas’ citizens all are in a variety of different cultures.

45. Over how many days does your story take?

I’m thinking within one month. It’s a race-against-time sort of thing where Asha needs to find out how to confront the Royal Couple before they do something horrible on Rosas’ celebration of its 100th anniversary, which is literally just a month away.

46. What was your favourite part of Wish? Are you translating that to your AU?

I really really loved how Mag’s magic looked and how he went all evil-ish green as a tribute to past Disney villains. If we ignore the awkward transition he had from sympathetic to just plain psychotic, it’s a cool magic display. I kinda wished they went more full out on the final battle because it just felt so underwhelming asf.

I’m keeping the magical final battle but with more magical funsies. :D

47. Least favourite part?

I’m frustrated how bland and empty the character interactions and emotional beats are since those kinds of moments are usually my favourite when it comes to movies.

Magnifico’s tragic loss of his village? “Pfft- What tragedy? We don’t need that in the movie’s 2nd half.”

Asha’s dead father? “Eh. We only needed him for a few mins and he’s non-existent from that point on.”

Valentino claims to be Asha’s helpful animal sidekick. “Did I mention I have a deep voice? Oh, and my butt’s a funny thing too. Did I already mention that my voice is loud and soooo deep??”

Simon’s betrayal? “Oh wow, that was a shock…. Anyways, wanna start a rebellion?”

OMG, Sakina’s wish is back!! “What was the wish about? Idk who cares.”

Asha’s friendship with Star doesn’t even feel that special to me?? GUYS, I felt more chemistry between Rapunzel and Pascal. COME ON, BUILD IT UP. DON’T JUST SAY ‘Awww, you and I are thinking the same thing~’ AND EXPECT ME TO BUY THAT.

48. What’s your favourite aspect of the TFS!AU?

Idk why, but I like how there’s a unique twist in your AU on how Wishing Stars don’t have the best reputation to humans. It’s a nice subversion that makes it stand out a little more. :)) Because usually, the idea of wishing on stars is always seen as a positive thing but that’s not the case in this story. It’s intriguing to watch characters slowly realise that not everything is what it seems.

That, and the hilarious dynamic you’ve got going on between Cielo and Asha and how deep in denial they both are, even though it’s clear as day to the other TFS!cast. 😂

(Wouldn’t it be funny if TFS!Mag and Amaya also noticed? They may be going down a dark path but they’re not blind, girl.)

Uhhhhhh…. I like organising stuff by colour for fun...? Like, I used to pour out a box of legos and sort through them as a kind of pastime. I still organise coloured pencils in rainbow order if I could too. 😅 ………

Gift exchange at the Darklands castle

The family decided to all get a card with someone’s name, and to get that person a gift.

But who gets who, and what will their gift be?...

But then it suddenly was already Christmas eve...

(I also hereby apologise for the length of this post, but there’s no neat point to make a “read more” in this one…)

Bowser got Iggy, and is very much in turmoil on what to get him, as he and Iggy aren’t the closest. (This is not on purpose btw-, there just aren’t that many things that Bowser and Iggy have in common, and therefor they spend less time together than other combinations might).

He refuses to just get Iggy some new/more lab equipment or mechanical tools though. He thinks it would give the “I don’t care. Here, have something you like. I put no effort in this gift.” And he doesn’t want to give Iggy that feeling…

Bowser makes dried fruit bites, covered in chocolate. It was originally just one batch of pineapple with chocolate, but he eventually builds an entire contraption of multiple fruits in chocolate.

Iggy got Morton, and decided to not get him something that had to do with food.

He remembered how much Morton used to play with toy trucks, cars, etc. So he build his little brother a couple of remote controlled karts and bikes, of them and their family. Due to limited time, he made just him and Morton, but he is planning on making the others with their favourite kart/bike combo, but he’ll give Morty those on his next birthday.

Morton got Lemmy, and decided to just go walk around in a toy store. He most likely gets home with a bag full of toys… (Some for himself, but he truthfully bought most for Lemmy) He just couldn’t choose! So why not all? (That’s what Bowser gets for not giving them a price limit…)

Lemmy got Larry, and thought of perhaps something that had to do with sports or anything…

But he ends up with something more related to animals. (Not an actual pet though. Bowser forgot to put a price limit to the gift, but he explicitly stated that living things were not allowed.)

Probably a video-game that has you have pets. (Think Nintendogs + cats type stuff.)

Larry got Wendy, and had gotten more than enough ideas of what to potentially get her… (Wendy is very vocal about what she wants, and does this the whole year through.)

He probably gets her a very rare piece/roll of cloth for her to use in a new design of clothing, or an expensive nail polish, or something else special and hard to get by.

Wendy got Roy. While walking around to think about what to get her big, strong, older brother, she saw his boxing gloves. They were all tattered and worn, and were in desperate need of either a repair, or replacement. So, she did both! She bought new ones, but gave them a personal make-over, to have them better fit her brother. As the ones for guys are usually black or dark red or something… And the pink ones were too small anyway, but also were all flowery. So she got a set in the right size, but replaced the clothed parts, with some of her own. The gloves she ends up giving Roy are purple with a sort of dark pink edges and seems. When holding the back of them up, the one on the left has a stitched form of Roy’s bazooka, while the one on the right has a shot bullet bill on it. (Wearing Roy’s sunglasses).

Roy got Junior, and was (just like his dad) completely clueless on what to get his receiver. After all… WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO GET A KID THAT ALREADY HAS EVERYTHING?!

So, Roy eventually gets Junior the more expected art supplies or something (Cause heavens knows Junior burns through them faster than Ludwig can play his music…)

But, to make it more personal (as Roy has enough of a heart to not want to get generic either), and give something Junior doesn’t have… Or better said, isn’t used to-

He hides it, and makes it a little scavenger hunt of it for Junior.

“Make the brat work for his gift. He’s always gotten everything he wanted handed to him. Now he will have to do something for it.”

Junior got Ludwig, and is in panic of what to get Ludwig. He already has multiple music instruments… (And Junior knows that he doesn’t know enough about them to do anything with that for Ludwig anyway). And they have an entire fucking library…

Eventually, he makes a small ticket book for Ludwig, with a couple of “Sush. I am your older brother, you listen to me right now.” Tickets in it, since the two are so often fighting for power… (Junior with the “I’m the heir of the throne” and Ludwig with the “I’m the oldest sibling” thing.)

Each and every ticket has a funny small doodle/drawing of Ludwig and Junior on it, so that it also looks fun (and Junior wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to make funny small drawings.)

Ludwig got Bowser. But, what are you supposed to get the guy that practically saved your (and your siblings’) life?... What object can ever repay such kindness and care that Bowser had given Ludwig and his siblings the day he took them into the castle, and saved them from a life on the streets? There isn’t any expensive enough to come even close to how grateful Ludwig is…

So, he doesn’t buy Bowser anything. Instead, he searches through the library for a spell. A spell he once read about… A spell that can make ‘photo’s’ from memories that people recite.

So he goes past all his siblings, to have them recite memories of them in the castle, or any family outings as well. Eventually also past his dad, although he here has to hide what he is doing… And asks his father to recite things about their family, in the hope to help Ludwig come up with a gift.

“But I can’t tell you who I actually have! That’d be cheating…”

They all love the gift they got.

(Although Junior initially whined about it, he had to eventually admit that the hunt was kinda fun...)

And Bowser started sniffling and crying a bit when looking thought the memory scrapbook from Ludwig. He got over to his oldest, picked him up into a firm hug (cue surprised yelp from Ludwig about suddenly being picked up into a firm hug), and told Ludwig how much he loved his gift.

No Man Can Take The Sea infodump

I was asked by @rhaegang about the lore that I have concocted in my brain without a place to actually put it in the story. Since I'm incapable of short answers, here is some of my brain rot under the cut! (very light spoilers for chapter 4)

So. In this, sirens are incredibly powerful, almost god like, but they are also very animalistic in behavior and nature, which means they don't have any real concept of wars and premeditation. They are deceitful due to the nature of their power but they wouldn't be able to carry on a long con. They are quite naive, that's why they get hunted successfully and captured despite being so powerful. (also they are very social species that live in group. They are extremely protective and codependant with their flock/pod whatever you want to call it, and isolating them for a long time is a sure way to break them.)

Oliver has the same powers and instincts as any siren (although less knowledge of how to use it because of the way he was raised) but he has a human mind and understanding of the world. It makes him one of the most powerful being in existence because he has powers AND purpose. He can scheme, plot revenge, organize, etc. He's potentially extremely dangerous!

Sirens are also completely unburdened by human moral concepts, they're a bit like cats playing with their food (like they do on Oliver's birthday, playing with the human on the beach by making them dance to death) and Oliver's moral compass is a bit off because of both his nature and education. I see them as similar to fae in many senses, they can be capricious and possessive.

Regarding their music, I already described how they make inhuman sounds replicating the noises of the ocean and it's creatures, but they also do throat singing, breath work and extremely high pitched notes. Trollabundin by Eivør and mongol throat singing have been a big inspiration. (Hamrer Hippyer by Heilung for a pod of sirens celebrating together) They sing and make music to lure, soothe, celebrate… They are very artistically enclined, attracted to poetry and art because it's so close to singing, and lovers of beauty in all its forms, which make them collect beautiful things like jewels, shells, or pretty human boys with big shiny brown eyes…

They used to be worshipped with sacrifices and precious stones, intricate rituals said to guarantee a calm sea and abondant fishes, but people started to get angry at the leaders of these ceremonies for stealing their children and riches (that they of course kept for themselves in large part) and took it out on the sirens. That's when they started to get hunted and captured. They were kept as a symbol of status and power, an entertainment and unfortunately to warm powerful men's bed. They usually don't last long in these conditions though, loneliness and distance to the sea making them wither away. Oliver's mom has been able to last longer due to the location of her captors castle and having Oliver to protect and care for. It is assumed that they are almost exctincts because they are rarely seen nowadays. It is also said that their powers were greatly exaggerated by the priests to submit people to their whims with fear. Before even the priests and religious worship, local sailors knew that sirens were dangerous and not to be approached, but that if you played a pleasant enough rhythm they would join with their singing and let you live. It became a superstition and sailors still carry drums on their ship to this day without really knowing why.

Also the entire story has been inspired by my very deep attachment to the ocean and to a little town in Brittany where I spent all my summers growing up, at the very edge of France, where the wind blinds you and your feet get cut by hard rocks when you step into the waves. A place that used to be the home of sailors with face tanned by salt and proud bigoudènes, living in community and sharing hardships, music and chouchen. Wild, barren, and old but with a beautiful soul.

Ft. Klein (my MC), Satan

Mention of religion

"Good night, everyone!" Klein said and went to his room to retire for the night. Well, it technically wasn't his room, but a guest room inside a Gehenna devil's home. But since Satan wants to be close to his people, he rarely stays in his castle, especially since the war with Heaven started. Consequently, after Klein came to Hell, he had to borrow a guest room as well.

After brushing his teeth, Klein put his glasses on the nightstand and went to bed.

(Oh right, I have to say my night prayers.) Klein reminded himself. He made the sacred sign and began to recite his prayers.

"Our Father, Who art in Heaven,..."

Suddenly, the door slammed opened and Satan stepped inside the room.

"W-what are you doing here, Satan?" Klein asked, startled. He knew that praying in Hell would seem weird and it could cause a misunderstanding, so the Overlord didn't want any devil to catch him when he was praying.

"Why, you ask? Weren't you there with us when we were assigning room for the night?"

"Oh..." Klein slowly remembered the moment. Since there was only one guest room in the house, Satan and he would share the room, while Sitri and Ppyong would have to sleep in the living room.

After seeing that Klein had remembered, Satan went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. The Overlord, after recovering, made sure to finish his prayers while Satan wasn't in his sight.

"This is the first time I have seen someone praying while lying on bed." Satan spoke as he settled on the other side of the only bed in tbe room.

"Wait, you know?" Klein was baffled.

"Sitri told me he heard someone saying prayers and since I know that none of the devils in the house is a religious type of demon, I guessed it could only be you."

(And you decided to interrupt my prayers by slamming the door open, you bastard!) Klein scowled but that only made Satan grinned.

"Solomon, that guy, he always prayed kneeling down with outstretched hands towards the sky." Satan started to tell a story of Solomon again. "Even though Solomon made deals with the devils on a daily basic after he came to Hell, he was still a religious man. He would often excuse himself to go say his prayers and he would return after he was done."

"Eh, so he was that kind of person." Klein said without knowing what else to comment on what Satan told him.

"Klein", the king of Wrath turned to him and said, "Hell is a place where a devil can enjoy their freedom to the fullest extent. I want Hell to become such a place to you too. Jane appears to be a petite child who suffered from malnutrition at the start of her human life, leading her to be smaller than a normal child her age. Despite her sweet, round face and large green eyes, she has the hints of the same sharp features of her mother. Her nearly black curls are usually pulled back and out of her face, often into pigtails that stick out to resemble horns. Her pointed ears twitch much like a cat’s, and she has a slightly prehensile tail with a tuft of dark fur on the end. Though she prefers more practical clothing than her mother, Jane occasionally dresses up in bespoke armor and a little, unsharpened sword so that she can play at being a knight. Jane is rarely without one of her many little pouches or bags, in which she carries a variety of snacks, stickers, toys, and the occasional woodland creature as well. Her wings are delicate and golden, giving off a faint warm light, and occasionally shedding scales here and there like fairy dust.

MAGICAL

Skills / Power set: Flight, very simple illusions, seemingly trusted by all animals in the Archival Realm, very weak ability to Command Animals. It’s not magical, but she seems to be able to charm just about anyone who visits the library. Excels at catching frogs and naming toys.

Weaknesses: Mistrusted by most mundane animals outside of the Realm, burned by iron, weak to ash and holly woods.

Jane is incapable of leaving the archival realm. Being a construct, she was made out of matter from the realm itself, and will crumble to dust if she ever properly crosses the barrier. There are very few exceptions here and there where the veil is thin or faded, but hard limits on how far from the castle itself she can go. Ruby does not know this, however, and has never let Jane leave regardless.

PERSONALITY

Strengths: Courageous, selfless, friendly, wishes to be a hero, innocent, believes the best in people, very forgiving, food motivated, loves stories.

Weaknesses: Inexperienced, naïve, easily manipulated, easily frightened and spooked, often too forgiving, cries easily.

Fears: Being alone, large animals, sudden noises, quiet enclosed spaces, hearing doors shut behind her, complete darkness, overly serious or frightening strangers (though she tries to be friendly and polite all the time)

Crossover fic request: Mew ( Pokemon ) meets Courage ( Courage the cowardly dog ) and then having a good time together please?

Courage Meets Mew

A blissful sigh left Courage's lips as the pink household pet laid on his tummy on the living room carpet, slowly kicking his little legs in the air while drawing and coloring a picture of a dog bone.

Today, so far, has been a normal and relaxing one for him, which he loved as he rarely gets to experience those due to the creepy and unusual things that always happen in the middle of Nowhere.

To add icing to the already delicious cake that was his day, Eustice was in town and out of the farmhouse, while Muriel was in the kitchen baking a delicious gooseberry pie.

All was well with the world.

When Courage finished adding the last detail to his drawing, he grabbed his picture and gazed at it with pride.

His art style was childlike and adorable.

To Courage, the drawing was the most spectacular thing he's ever drawn and colored, and he was certain that Muriel would think the same when he showed it to her.

He would be delighted if she displayed his drawing on the refrigerator for all to see.

As he arose to go to the kitchen, Courage heard a knock at the front door.

He sighs, setting his work down before slowly walking towards the doorway.

Looks like Eustice has returned.

When Courage twists the doorknob, expecting a scare from his ornery, elderly owner, the dog jolted some to see the complete opposite: a pale pink cat with round eyes floating in front of him.

Such a sight startled Courage greatly, but the cat in response giggles before waving a small hand at Courage.

Courage, upon noticing the cat's friendliness, timidly reciprocates the wave with his own.

After a few mews, Courage learns that the cat's name is Mew and that it was a creature called a Pokemon.

That fact amazes Courage as he's never heard of such a creature before.

The pink dog then introduces himself to Mew by babbling in high-pitched gibberish.

Now that the two are on friendly terms, Courage allows Mew inside and happily shows him his bone drawing.

To which Mew nods its head, showing its liking for the art.

Mew informs Courage that it can sense the goodness in Courage's heart, and because of that, it is willing to grant the dog three wishes.

Courage is overjoyed to hear that and gestures for Mew to come closer, which they do as the dog whispers his three wishes into the magical cat's ear.

After a pleased expression and a nod, Mew uses its poke powers to make Courage's wishes come true.

...

For the first wish, Courage and Mew are at the kitchen table being served by Muriel, who now has a beautiful new hairstyle, a fresh slice of her homemade gooseberry pie.

Displayed in the background on the front of the fridge is Courage's bone drawing.

For the second wish, Courage and Mew are back in the living room as Courage shows Mew some tricks on his brand new red yo-yo.

Mew, fascinated by Courage's yo-yoing, conjured up a yo-yo of their own in the shape of a pokeball and showed off their skills to Courage, who was greatly impressed by them as the two yo-yoed together.

Finally, for the third and final wish, a giant inflatable castle is standing outside the farmhouse.

Inside, Courage is buoyantly bouncing up and down while Mew merrily watches him while floating.

Its head looks up when Courage comes up and down when Courage falls down.

I'm gonna ramble about my creepypasta AU from like 2012-2014ish I used to rp with a friend over my flip phone bc we where GENUINELY just insane <3

Some key things to keep in mind: we didn't really watch marble hornets at this time so masky and hoodie where (unfortunately) very much old fanon the rare few times they showed up. A lot of this AU was influenced by old deviantart web comics, mainly Pasta Monsters and The Seer. And lastly, we where like 12 when we made this so don't expect high art 💀 you're allowed to laugh bc genuinely it's so awful

This AU MOSTLY was centered around our OCs (of course). Mine was Banana, a repurposed warriors OC 💖 of course in usual middle schooler fashion, she was immortal and couldn't die, and she knew every single creepypasta amd everyone knew her and she was some special proxy y'all know the deal, if I remember to draw her again I'll rb or something with her bc I still love her dearly <3

Some key things abt this AU that I can remember off the top of my head in no specific order:

- Slenderman didn't have a mansion, he instead had an entire castle?? I have no clue why we decided a castle but that's what he had

-no one but slenderman lived in this castle. Not even his proxies, everyone else has their own houses, except Banana who has a big tree that grows diamond fruit

-how do people not fond a massive castle out in the forest? Easy. It's not in the forest, there's an entirely seperate realm they all live in and you access it by a random portal in the woods

-we genuinely deligated Masky and Hoodie to just sorta babysitting this portal. Actual proxy work? Never heard of it, they just watch a portal for days on end. Expect Masky sometimes, he got to babysit Banana because she caused ✨️problems✨️ constantly. We very much characterized his as the shy uwu nervous Masky the entire time

-proxies got their special proxy names Via warriors cats naming ceremony, we had a moment with another OC that was an extended rp of this moment. I do not know how we talked abt it like it was the most serious and genius thing in class the next day

-Jeff was one of the most prominent characters, he did not like Banana what so ever and she at some point made it her life goal to be the most prominent nuisance in his life. Multiple times as some form of punishment for both of them causing some issue or just fighting in general, Slenderman would make them go live together in the human world as normal people in suburbia or some shit. This happened VERY often and I choose to still use this plot point as the set up for conversations and jokes about them to this day

-the neighborhood they lived in was completely oblivious to the fact that these where two known serial killers, EXCEPT one of their neighbors who was hell bent on exposing them. No one believed her ever.

-how do they live as normal people? Tbis is where the pasta monsters influence comes in, I believe it was called an illusion form in that comic? Whatever it was called, that's the logic we used. Jeff looked like a Normal Guy and Banana instead of being a cat, was in fact a human girl, who for whatever reason we decided kept getting mistaken for some random orphan girl named Daisy

-despite this AU taking place in (at the time) modern times, old times orphanages and asylums where still in operation and was another very prominent plot point we used (to the extent of the knowledge we had as 12 year Olds of these places) banana and Jeff ended up in the asylum in padded rooms and straight jackets a lot

-this has no bearing on the plot what so ever but I know we referred to the police as "the popo" and ONLY the popo for the entire duration of the rp. All 2 or 3 years of it.

first of all, thank you so much for asking!! I rarely get any asks like this so this made me really happy!

To answer your question, the game is about travelling through different universes. (The game's Chinese name literally means "the time travelling painter" or something like that) basically the MC (you) is an art major at this one school on an island, St. Shelter Academia (weird name i know) the MC is also a manga author however, and no one else knows except this one guy (I'll explain more about him later, he doesn't have any routes in the main story but he does in events) the MC created the manga because she's been having dreams about it for a while, but she was getting stuck on the content lately

you also adopt a cat

don't wanna spoil it for you in case you wanna find out for yourself, but stuff happens and you get isekaid to the world. in your manga. There you find out that you've been writing manga about an alternate universe, and the 5 (4?) love interests all play important roles in the story

Basically their country was being terrorized by ice butterflies that freeze everything they touch, so it's a neverending winter there. only the mages can hold the butterflies off but the public doesn't trust them

Now onto the love interests!!

the universe the MC came from is the Modern universe (earth) and the alternate universe is Godheim.

Lars is a wealthy entrepreneur who also happens to be a big fan of your manga (he doesn't know that you wrote it though). He's one of the school's investors.

In Godheim, he's the tyrannical emperor who summons you to that world and says that you're to be his bride.

I don't wanna paint him in a negative light because he's actually very caring and holds family close to his heart, he's also one of the few characters in Godheim that can take a joke lol. basically silly happy emperor actually has trauma. He is also a feminist.

His route is really sweet and pretty good but it wasn't my personal favorite.

Ayn is his cousin. In Godheim, he and clarence have an alliance.

His route has the second-most bad endings. He shares this with Ayn.

He's also the tallest-

Clarence is the student council president who abides by the rules and gets good grades. He's also a law major.

In Godheim, he is the steely cold, merciless Archmage (the leader of all the mages) of Magi Tower. He was the one who did the ritual to summon you, and he was gonna keep you in a bird cage with roses on it but Lars said no so you're allowed to roam the castle but if you make even the tiniest of mistakes BAM. Back in the cage.

Clarence isn't my favorite so I don't know much about him, but he wants you to do well so he tries to push you to do so.

Clarence's Godheim route is the last one, so it's where you uncover the secrets of godheim. I didn't like his route much but I did enjoy seeing his soft side. Also, you get to beat a pervert's ass. And the MC cusses in this route (she says "grade A ass whooping). It's amazing.

His route has the most bad endings.

Ayn is a music major and a freshman like you. He's really popular but also doesn't really like interacting with people, he's very much of an introvert. He can come off as rude but he's just tsundere. he's also a gamer, and a pretty dedicated one at that. He very much believes in tough love. He's not the comforting type.

In Godheim, he is the stubborn leader of the Inquisitors, who basically kill rebels and people who disobey the king. He was originally the crown prince but Lars took it from him (the reason why is a spoiler) and Ayn wants to kill Lars as revenge for that. He's been biding his time in order to do that.

Ayn's route was one of my favorites, it was action-packed yet still soft at the same time. Also, his outfit is 😳

I'm pretty sure his route has the same number of bad endings as lars.

He's the shortest.

Alkaid (my favorite!!) helps you and Ayn in this route.

And now, for my favorite, Alkaid!!

He's the kind upperclassman who helps you get settled at school. He's a junior I think, an astronomy major. He's so sweet I swear to God ❤❤ he has a cat, and your cat and his cat play together often. He likes gardening.

In Godheim, alkaid is the submissive but kind mage assigned to protect you and watch you for clarence. Clarence is his boss. He's one of the most powerful mages in the Magi Tower. Anything else I say will be a spoiler for the entirety of Godheim...

In both universes, even though he is kind and believes in the good of people, he doesn't let himself get walked all over and doesn't hesitate to stand up for others if necessary.

Alkaid's route is tooth-rotting fluff. It's so cute because with your help he finally realizes that he shouldn't be afraid to fight or question authority, and that he can't just let everything happen if there's something he can do. His route is my favorite, next to Ayn. It also has the least amount of bad endings, only two, but let me tell you those two bad endings are soul crushing. I got a bad end on my first playthrough and it RIPPED ME APART.

Last but not least, Cael. If you're into butler type characters then he is for you. Cael is the one who took care of you when your mom died (your dad died when you were like 3).

In Godheim, he is the silver knight leading the rebellion against the emperor.

I don't have much to say on him because he's not my favorite and he doesn't have a route, but he's behind the bigger mysteries in Godheim.

He plays a big role in Lars' route.

after Godheim, you can pick an ending for one suitor where you're both happy together. After that, the next world is Eden but I'm not going to go too much into that because i like godheim more

The mc is gorgeous. Her facial expressions in the cards are everything.

All in all the game's pretty good, but it's not very well-known here so it has a fairly small and non-toxic fandom

In the battles, something called "assist events" can trigger where you have to choose the correct option to get a buff. If you choose the incorrect option then you get a debuff. The voice acting is amazing and the illustrations are really pretty, the soundtrack is beautiful too

how do you think the curse of harrenhal would play out with arya if she becomes lady during the long night?

Anon is referencing this post. I began by questioning whether a curse really exists. It's a widespread legend, but Martin never confirms it, just as he never confirms that behind the magic there are gods who care about the fate of humanity.

Many of the families that held Harrenhal have died out for contingent reasons. They often had in common that they were relatively small families, who ended up there overnight thanks to connections to the crown; a lot of ambition and little experience in managing such a big castle. But the doubt that a curse exists remains.

House Hoar and the curse

Those who believe, in world, that the curse exists explain it as a punishment for Harren the Black's hubris and maybe that's true, but I think we can't ignore how much it looks related to the Old Gods.

House Hoare went to great lengths to be cursed by the Gods far before Harrenhal was built. When the Andals invaded Westeros they allied with the invaders, married Andal women, brought the Faith of the Seven to the Iron Islands, conquered the Riverlands from the Storm King of Storm's End, a Durrandon king with blood of the First men.

Harren chose the site to erect his castle on the banks of the Gods Eye, he enslaved half the population (probably people still mostly loyal to the Old gods) and above all he cut down Weirwoods which had existed for three thousand years.

Perhaps all that is needed to break the curse is one person who does not abuse her power and does not offend the Gods with her mere presence. Arya's Gods seem to love her enough to give us that beautiful scene where she hears her father's voice whispering to her from the trees.

The Ladies of Harrenhal

It's not difficult to think of a lord of Harrenhal who has come to a bad end, but what about the ladies?

It is rather rare in Westeros for a lady to hold the power of a holdfast on her own right rather than in the name of her husband or son, yet Harrenhal has four cases of this. Still there are so many lords in the castle's history that the only four ladies look like white flies.

They have common characteristics, but the most obvious is the way their fate seems different from that of the lords, or at least more mysterious.

Shella Whent is the Lady of Harrenhal at the beginning of AGOT. She first appears in a Cat's chapter: Lady Whent, last of her line, who dwelt with her ghosts in the cavernous vaults of Harrenhal. (I love it, very poetic, it reminds a bit of the Jenny's song)

We then discover that Lady Whent surrendered Harrenhal for lack of men to defend it. But Arya doesn't know and she thinks: Arya could reveal herself to Lady Whent, and the knights would escort her home and keep her safe. This was what knights did; they kept you safe, especially the women. Perhaps Lady Whent would even help the crying girl. (She refers to weasel, but the crying girl also represents a side of Arya, the one she's trying to suppress in order to survive. Perhaps the Lady of Harrenhal also represents a part of Arya).

When Arya arrives at the castle Lady Whent has escaped. At the Red Wedding Sandon Clagane introduces himself as Lady Whent's servant and is asked if the lady intends to buy back Harrenhal with a horse. Petyr Baelish tells Sansa that Shella died, but her whereabouts and how she died are unknown.

She is listed in the ADWD appendix as the dispossessed lady of Harrenhal. Every time we get close to discovering her fate, she keeps eluding us. Is she really dead? Why is it not marked in the appendix?

Danelle Lothston was the last member of House Lothston to hold the castle. Of her we know that: When Lord Brynden Rivers, Hand of Aerys I Targaryen, marched on Whitewalls to put down the Second Blackfyre Rebellion, Lady Danelle was among the Riverlords who flocked to her support, marching in great force.

Lady Danelle took to the dark arts during the reign of Maekar I Targaryen, causing madness and chaos and the downfall of Lothston's kindred.

But what happened to her? When did she die? How did she die?

Even more interesting are the unofficial ladies of Harrenhal. These two women are the only ones who have not been granted the title from the crown, but have in fact held this office (And I think Arya situation might be similar):

Rhaena Targaryen lived a tragic life, she was lady of the castle in an unofficial way. The wiki says of her: Her hair turned white as she aged, and the people of the Riverlands came to fear her as a witch. Nonetheless, she Rhaena would bestow hospitality on any traveler who came to Harrenhal.

She reigned there until her death presumably of old age

Alys Rivers began her journey at Harrenhal as little more than a servant. She lived a tragic life and was unofficially lady of the castle.

It was said of her that: A number of broken men and marauding outlaws began to gather in Harrenhal under the rule of a witch queen witch. But how long did she reign? We only know that: Aegon's regents concluded that they would need to gather a larger force to recapture Harrenhal, but their plans were interrupted by Winter Fever in 133 AC.

This happens when Alys was already a middle-aged woman. Then we have no more news of her fate. We only know that the Lothstons became lords of Harrenhal nearly thirty years later. How did Alys die? Did she reign at Harrenhal all that time?

Why are the Ladies of Harrenhal subject to so many exceptions to their counterparts? 2/4 unofficial, 3/4 accused of witchcraft, 3/4 with unknown fates.

Maybe it's just a coincidence, or maybe I've found a pattern.
