I hope it doesn't show (too much) in my art that I didn't feel any joy - or much anything else - while drawing. I usually enjoy drawing, have feelings during the progress but not this time. I apologize if that has effected my art.

Donnie x Raph: Accident

(Donnie gets hurt, and Raph uses this chance to confess.) TMNT (2003) ~~~~~~ Sirens filled the frosty air of New York City. Flashes of red and blue illuminated the walls of plaster and brick as they flew past like hummingbirds. Streaks of red and purple speeded down the soggy, empty street. The thumping of his heart made Raphael shudder. The tight grip the olive-green arms had around his waist made him more determined to get home. He could feel his brothers breath on the back of his shell. He could feel Donnie's heartbeat racing with his own. Turning a corner sharply, he turned into a narrow alleyway that led up to the entrance of the lair. Pressing a button located on the handlebars, the concrete wall lifted up, giving Raph his escape route. Driving through, the wall closed shut behind them, leaving both brothers in the safety of the subway. Not slowing down until he reached the entrance of the lair, he kept note on the tight grip loosening the closer they got to home. Finally arriving, Raph turned off the engine to the shellcycle and the olive-green arms let him go. Raph clambered off and turned to Donnie, seeing the pained expression on his beautiful face. Donnie's shoulder was dyed crimson, the wound swollen and wide. "Shell Donnie, we gotta get ya ta' the lab!" Without a moments hesitation, Raph wrapped his arms around the wounded genius and carried him bridal style into the labs medical section. During the journey, Donnie had buried his head into Raph's neck, an action that made Raph's breath hitch. Once he was besides the bed, he carefully sat his brother down and began looking around in acute panic for the equipment he needed. "Raph..." Donnie's voice put a stop to his panic and his golden eyes caught shining brown. Donne could read Raph just by his eyes. He knew how Raph felt. "Stop blaming yourself," he said as his brother came closer to him, a needle and thread in his hand. "It wasn't your fault." Raph bent down on his knees, to get onto his brothers hight level. He careful began to pierce the needle through Donnie's skin to seal his wound. He stopped every time he heard Donnie hiss, not wanting to hurt his brother more then he had tonight. "I still feel bad. Ya got hurt, and I got ya in a situation that not even ya could get outta." Once the wound was sealed, Raph tied a knot and cut the thread. Glancing up, he saw Donnie's concerned expression. He glanced away, the guilt clouding his mind, as well as his vision. Donnie placed a hand upon his brothers cheek, stroking it with his thumb. "It was not your fault. We were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's not your fault I was caught of guard and that purple dragon's knife caught me. Stop dragging yourself down Raph." Raph had slowly lifted his head throughout Donnie's speech, until he was staring into those brown eyes. Without thinking, he placed his mouth over Donnie's in a hungry, desperate kiss. He must have done it through the adrenaline, or it could have been just the desperation to feel that Donnie was still with him. The thing that surprised Raph, was the fact that strong arms wrapped around his neck and pulled him in even closer. After a few long going seconds, they both pulled back, a little breathless. Raph began to smile, knowing that he could count on Donnie to make him feel better. "I never knew ya felt the same way," he stated, placing his forehead against Don's. "Gotta admit, you're quite the kisser." Don let out a hearty laugh, something rare for the genius. He got his composer back and again looked at his brother. "Guess you could say that this is the start of something new." "It defiantly is brainiac."
