I have a lot I could talk about, but one support that comes to mind is Raphael and Bernie's. I like that Raph, who's usually such a larger than life sort of character, is so considerate of Bernie and really tones himself down for her, and it ends with her making big strides with her social anxiety. Their paired ending being one of the few where Bernie doesn't become a recluse is lovely too! It was my first pairing for both of these characters so it holds a special place in my heart, but I don't hear many people talk about it!

What do you think of Raphael x Bernadetta?

I can't say I've ever thought of them at all 🙈 Raphael is a totally nice person but the big boisterous types are not really my cup of tea because I'm very noise sensitive lol. So I looked up their supports which are cute, with him turning around so she can talk to him more easily. But the end card takes a kinda weird turn?? I don't like the idea of unpleasant "training" to make her into a public speaker, it's too close to how she described her dad's abuse.

Now that I think about it, all of Bernie's endings end with her running House Varley, don't they? Even though she never expresses interest in doing it. We see she likes music, art, sewing, but never "I wish I could be a good leader/politician". Huh, I never noticed that before! Poor Bernie deserves her relaxing, painting by the pond retirement 💜

There are many fics that have been hard for me to write for one reason or another. In recent memory, my last Raphael/Bernadetta fic "Calm" gave me trouble. I don't have as much experience writing Raphael as I would like-- it was a tricky balance to not make him too dumb, but also not make him too out of character. Fansof the ship have expressed much love for the fic, so I guess I nailed it that time!

What is your favorite kind of comment/feedback?

Related to the above, one of my favorites is when someone tells me I nailed characterization. It's always nice to hear but it's especially nice when it's a character I don't have a lot of experience writing (like poor Raphael!). Even something as short as "omg X would so do that! XD" gives me a much needed boost! :D

The first mission went okay, and I 'm currently grinding my units before going to Lonato. I chose Lysithea as my mission helping... person, so I can get supports recruit her early!

It's been like a day since I wrote here and I did a TON of grinding to get people. I got Lysithea, Lorenz, Ignatz, Leonie, Ashe, Mercedes, Felix, and Ingrid! I got B support with Lysithea so she joined my house on her own.

I forgot to do the month repeat glitch but that's fine lol I got most of them, I just need some supports or more faculty training for Faith, Riding, and Heavy Armour. But I do have access to Paladin so I can probably just do that to help.

Sylvain should be easy enough? I think I'll just need one support since I'm like 4 points off of 25 charm. So he's the mission assistant this month, I mean it is related to him after all and getting his weapon would be awesome.

And I also managed to defeat the Death Knight in the Holy Mausoleum I made Hubert into a Dark Mage. Hell yeah.

While I don't agree with Edelgard ideologically, that's different from disliking the character. Bernadetta, I feel the game ends up fetishizing her abusive past to a disturbing degree. I'm aware this is a hot take. 29. Jeralt, Kronya, Claude, Rhea. 30. ANNA. A character with absolutely zero supports in a modern FE game should not exist. Worse, they're DLC. Skipping all design questions, would require me to look through tons of art and I don't have a good sense of design aesthetics anyway. 37. I seem to remember someone had funny dining dialogue but I forget who. 38. Felix liking cats made me lol. 39. Hilda I guess. 40. Dorothea always offers to join without me even trying. I'm not sure why. 41. Claude ships Edelgard/Dimitri and distributes his fanart and fanfiction during the war as propaganda. 42. Azure Moon has the best writing for Edelgard. 43. Sylvain/Mercedes. 44. Edelgard/Dimitri is HILARIOUS and my coping mechanism when discourse bothers me. 45. Sylvain/Mercedes. 46. Unsure. 47. Hilda. It's really the ONLY one I've done, but it was fine. 48. Hilda/Marianne, I'M SORRY. I just don't see it. 49. Dorothea/Hanneman. WHY is this romantic and explicitly mentions them having children, when his endings with all other students are platonic?? 50. FEMALE BYLETH/MERCEDES, easily. Compared to the other female bi options, I feel this is rarely talked about.
