Literally not a single person in my friend group is good at gift giving.

We all tell the person we’re gonna give them a gift like a week in advance because we can’t control our excitement; usually we even tell them what it is, completely ruining the surprise. On birthdays nobody ever has gifts because we always wanna do something big that we end up forgetting to do or we’re broke because we spend all our money on weed/cigarettes.

And we make up for all this by randomly buying each other little things that we saw and reminded us of the other, paying for someone’s cigarettes/weed, or randomly giving away shit we have that the other likes, “You like it? You know what? Keep it.”

and I think that’s beautiful.

Do you think Jopson and Le Vesconte had fun on their E07 Hunting Trip? I hope they had fun. I hope they saw something nice like a hare or a fox or a ptarmigan in flight.

I can't imagine they knew each other well, if at all, beforehand but I have a wee headcanon that Dundy took the opportunity to give Jopson the very frank lowdown on lieutenant life - what to do and what not to do etc., etc.

Like "Listen, sweet Tommy-J, I've been doing this shit all on my own for months now and I have some OPINIONS that are much sexier and more correct than everyone else's. Heed my advice, boy."

I like to think that that happened and that it's a big part of the reason why Jopson goes from shock and uncertainty at his promotion to wall-to-wall lieutenant badassery only one episode later.

i wish i wasn’t capable of physically feeling the presence of someone in a building even when i can’t see them. i know i sound insane but theres like 4-5 people i have a psychic connection with whether i like it or not. im sitting in a cafeteria with like 100 ppl n im by a hallway that leads to a door on the side of the building n someone will go in or out every 5 minutes or so n you know bc its a loud squeaky door. n like the 7th time i heard it open the guy i had planted myself here specifically to say hi to i had the impression it was him before he even like emerged from the enclosed area. and it was of course. its almost annoying i dont want to be so aware
