Sooo how exactly did Peter Pan recruit Greg and Tamara and then how did he communicate with them? Because I started picturing Pan’s shadow flying into the real world to sit behind a computer and start posting conspiracy theories and sending out e-mails with orders to his little anti-magic fanatics cult.

Everytime Greg and Tamara received “orders” from the “home office” or whatever was it just a shadowy guy sitting menacingly behind a computer in a public library e-mailing about magic diamonds of destruction?

If I had a nickel for every time I fell in love with a ship that consisted of a grumpy old man who's angry at the world and hates everything and deems himself unworthy of love due to his past mistakes and a younger woman who sees the good in him and loves him as easily as breathing but still isn't afraid to put him in his place I'd have two (2) nickels. which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice right

I just realized that in Once Upon a Time, Charming’s last words to Emma before the original curse were “find us”, and Snow’s first words to Emma after the curse ended were “You found us!”

That’s beautiful continuity, it really is.

people being anti-someone else’s ship is kind of wild to me lmao. like what do you mean you’re against something that makes other people happy? what do you mean this thing that brings someone joy, isn’t hurting anyone, and doesn’t affect you bothers you to the point that you feel the need to actively put them down and belittle them because of it? what do you mean something you could easily ignore or filter out has become something you want to loudly spew hate about to make yourself feel better? what do you want, for someone to say you’re right? because yes, i’m sure there are people who agree with you, but there’s also a much better way for you to voice that opinion! it’s almost like you can talk about why you don’t like something without putting down the people who do. alternatively, you could not interact with that content if it makes you feel so negatively. you’re not going to make people who like it switch over to your “side”; at best they’re going to ignore you and at worst you’re going to make them feel bad about themselves for something that makes them happy. i simply will never understand.

other than the entire adultery plotline, the only thing i would retcon in the entire season 1 of ouat is the fairies are cursed to become nuns in storybrooke. WHAT EVEN WAS THAT??? so many characters became their exact opposites, so why was blue the exact same stuffy woman both as a fairy and in storybrooke? in my mind, the fairies became a giant lesbian commune (so essentially what they already were in the enchanted forest) living on the outskirts of town. and because storybrooke shouldn't have any contact with the outside world, the fairies collectively own a farm that sources most of the food for all of storybrooke. when the curse broke they were like hey actually this is pretty good. and kept being a giant lesbian commune.

The Real Captain Hook Disney Movie?

You know what Disney Live Action Remake (ish) we really need: Captain Hook!

Peter Pan was actually a phantom that lured kids to Neverland like the Pied Piper, made them forget about their parents and want to party on Neverland forever, and killed them when they grew up or missed Mommy!

But who wants to go home and get old when Jeremy Sumpter is whispering dreams in your ear?

Captain Hook was a child that escaped and becomes Peter's enemy because his childhood was taken away, and he tried to stop him from kidnapping and murdering more children. And the only portrayal of that story that I’ve seen that even comes close to touching Peter Pan's dark roots was Once Upon a Time! And Peter Pan was Rumpstiltskin’s father in that version! As a diehard OUAT time, the show should hold a huge credit for giving us the closest portrayal to the real Peter Pan that we’ve ever gotten. Even then, there wasn’t a real focus on the rivalry between him and Killian (Hook) since it leaned more into the father-son dynamic the show set up.

Robbie Kay did awesome btw, his Peter was chilling and absolutely none of my fondness for the Disney version carried over, I hated this kid's guts!

(Oh yeah, disclaimer before I go on: no I’ve never seen Robin William’s Hook, I was too young when it came out and I never got around to seeing it, so that one’s probably good, but I’m not sure how it potrays Hook, please don’t kill me hehe)

Disney is probably the biggest influence of making Peter Pan known as a mischievous cutiepatootie that just loves to have fun, and doesn’t want to become an adult because he thinks you can’t have fun anymore as an adult. And I totally adore that version of him. Unfortunately, Disney decided to make Hook into an incompetent bumbling buffoon (which I do get in a sense because essentially he was ripped from his family at a young age and never really got to grow up and mature in a conventional sense, get his full education etc.) But, man he was no match for Peter at all! If Peter Pan is supposed to be so difficult to best, it should be because he's a clever quick-witted trickster, not because his opponent is so pathetically dim-witted and easily defeated! It takes away from both of their characters a little. We're supposed to believe Hook become a captain of anything by any other means than "the least dumb pirate so captain by default?" Really? This man lives on a *boat* and jumps into his crew's arms when he hears a crocodile or octopus nearby!

Granted he has clever moments like consoling a dejected Tinkerbell and getting her to reveal the Lost Boys' hideout, and in Return to Neverland he (almost) successfully manipulates Jane into trusting him. But even then, it's doesn't take a ton of sharp wit to use a child's naivety and a recently scorned fairy's notorious jealousy against them. Not that I've tried.

But anyway, if Disney wants a remake idea that isn’t note-for-note from the animation, showing Captain Hook’s side of the story a-la-Maleficent I think would be a good move, showing that Hook really was the good guy all along. Give him actual leadership skills, nautical knowledge, swordsman skills, etc. Play around with the balance between holding onto your childhood and developing maturity, go into origin stories about Peter having a terrible relationship with his mother and choosing to leave her for eternal youth in Neverland, vs. Hook having a wonderful mother that he misses every day, and his childish tendencies are because he was ripped from his mother's care before he was able to learn how to face fears like losing your hand to a crocodile. Maybe Hook sacrifices his childlike innocence and loses the ability to use pixie dust and escape Neverland because stopping Peter from doing the same to more children is more important than his return home. Let the bitter irony of growing up being both the only way to defeat Peter and reason Hook will never see his mother again callous over his innocent young heart and make him more and more pirate-like out of desperation to escape, and he starts letting things slide that used to keep him awake at night-like nearly leaving Tiger Lilly for dead in a cave filling with water- because the end justifies the means: Hook had to defeat Peter. That boy took his mother away from him, and anyone who stands with Peter-Tinkerbell, mermaids, three Darling children who have trusted him- is the enemy. Fuel Hook's rage towards Peter because they'll never see eye to eye on loving the people who raised you, and the absolute frustration of everyone in Neverland being in love with Peter, and the unintelligent band of swashbuckler thieves are his only aid in bringing Peter Pan down. Hook dances on a line between noble cause and pure revenge, until eventually, the other pirates offer him a leadership position: Captain. This authority will be the death of his youth, ensuring Hook is trapped on Neverland forever, but this way, Hook is the only way there will be no more Lost Boys and no more innocent children crying for their mothers before Peter kills them.

Maybe show children viewers that the world doesn’t always works as Kids vs Adults like they think. There are good adults and bad kids, and a live action Captain Hook that harkens to the orginal folktale could be a great way to be more original with the live action adaptations this time around. I don't know, I'm just tossing ideas around.

I know Disney just dropped Peter Pan and Wendy, so making Peter the villain is probably nowhere near becoming an idea Disney would consider creating, but hey, I can dream. And I really don’t mind seeing Peter as a immature yet lovable scamp at all. I just think Hook’s story would be a good way to give Disney fans something more original. With the exceptions of less popular Peter Pan movies and shows, Hook probably, and what I think 2015′s Pan would’ve tried to do if it wasn’t too bland to get a sequel greenlit (man I would’ve kinda loved to see Garret Hedlund as full fledged Hook and not prequel cowboy Hook or whatever was going on, none of that movie made much sense regardless.)

Many many adaptations have chosen not to stay true to the source material and pander to kids because “Kids Rule!” (sorry that sounds so 90s, I’m a milennial!) so maybe this can give Disney something creative and original to give to fans who don’t feel that’s what they’ve been getting from Disney lately.

Season 2 ideas - Jeremy, Liane, Joshua, Belladonna and Nikolai are all accidentally stuck in the enchanted forest.

—They have to find a way back home but on their way home they stop by a few stops, meeting old faces and a couple of new ones 👀 meanwhile in the town they have their own little spots of trouble.

Side-note: Idk if we will do another AU season 🤷‍♀️ yet. I still wanna continue the Wandavision one 💘

For the OUAT: We might change some things because i was thinking about Michelle being in the forest as well, she hasn’t been washed over during the first curse. Like maybe Michelle was in hiding after all theses years once the curse broke in real time and makes her grand return saving the day.

In the enchanted forest 🌳

Jeremy ties to men up to the tree, shining his hook and asks, “What do you want? Why do you want to go to our town?”

The older brother spat, “Because you have something of ours. Well, more importantly your husband does.”

“Oh god, what did he do now?”

The young brother added, “He has our sister locked in a pendant! Every time someone uses it, it drains her magic.”

Liane asked, “What’s her name?”

“Stella..he lost her to a duel with Gold’s husband..we want her back!”

Meanwhile Belladonna was looking at the young pretty blonde who played with her sword like it was a magical stick. They found her when they landed here and her mother requested she followed them. Joshua watched her eyes line and snorted as his friend told him to shut it.

“I didn’t say anything.” He replied.

“And I said shut it.” She repeated.

Nikolai gave both of them a look and half smiled sheepishly noticing how her son reminded her of his father. Even better, Belladonna reminded him of Cole at times, then he looked back at the brothers.

Nikolai asked, “What are your names?”

“Why do you want to know?” Asked the young one.

Jeremy responded for him, “My first mate asked a question. What are your names? Give me one other reason why I should let you go and not let you be eaten by Ogres.”

“Thiego and Leonardo, pirate. I don’t need to give you another reason onto why..”

“Why?”

“There is nothing for us in this land. Cora is asking us to help her out of a reward.”

“What reward?”

“Go to this new land, get revenge on your husband and most importantly, restore our family.”

Jeremy looked at his niece and nephew at the last part. Joshua was looking into the guys bags and scars on their chins, noticing deep daggers as he mutters, “Stabbington Brothers?”

Nikolai looked at his son raised an eyebrow, “You know them?

Belladonna stopped looking at the blonde to look at the others saying, “It’s from Tangled.”

Liane blinked confused wondering about where is Rapunzel and her man, Flynn Rider, at if theses guys are here.

Jeremy mumbled, “Of course you’ve seen that movie too. At least it’s better that Ames’s movie.”

He gasped in response, “Hey! That movie depicted us horribly..”

Joshua joked, “Yeah, dad, all you did was kiss mom once after one single encounter while she was asleep.”

Bella snorted, “Well my movie they made my dad kinda one dimensional and only slaying my mother instead of helping her.” 

Liane’s eyes almost flashed purple but Nikolai put a hand on her shoulder to just let it go like Elsa.

The brothers were about to question a couple of things, even bargain a deal to help the others. When suddenly a voice caught into the background of the woods.

“There you are, sons of bitches!” Yelled the voice of the young woman who it seemed to belong to.

Everyone looked around to search for the voice in question. Whoever it was, she has a mouth on her! Jeremy grinned as he thought he was dreaming when he heard it. Nikolai smirked not wanting to get his hopes up yet.

The sun was shining across the thick blonde curls as shiny armor came into view, it looked more Royal than most. She held a small smile as she walked over to the group, her sword resting on her hip, her boots pounding against the ground and her eyes bright was the ocean. Liane looked a bit confused onto the women in front of her, almost like she seen her before but the pirate boys beat her to.

“Michelle?” Asked Nikolai and Jeremy at the same time seeing their old friend.

“Who were you expecting? Lancelot?” She joked with a smile, but her glared stayed on the two men tied up against the tree, who robbed her earlier.

Bella, Alice and Joshua were all dumbfounded by the young blonde.

I love imagining Victor's reaction if he saw Ruby in her Enchanted Forest clothes, going by what he wore in his own world the ladies there probably wore really buttoned-up, stiff stuff, so I bet his brain would just short out if he saw his pretty girlfriend in a soft blouse and a corset

This is probably a coincidence but i think it's kinda funny:

If you think about it, it seems like Rumple is only able to care about two people at a time. First it's Bae and Belle. Then, when his son dies, he suddenly starts caring about Henry, and his grandson and Belle become the two people he wants to protect. And then, there's his second-born son, and we don't hear him talk about Henry anymore. In s6, he says something like "whatever you've planned for this town, leave Belle and my unborn child out of it". Nothing about Henry... XD

Me? Still bitter that Emma and Killian didn’t get to exchange their vows aboard the Jolly Roger even though they both clearly liked the idea? Pfff, noooo. Do I look like I still think it was unfair that Killian’s first and only suggestion about his own wedding got shut down in 0.5 seconds? (Henry, buddy, I just wanna talk) Do I look like I was disappointed to see 50 random extras dancing a weird disney channel-esqe choreography instead of more scenes from the actual wedding? Do I look like I expected a best man speech? Or any of the couple’s actual friends turning up?

Not the weirdest universe I’ve been in after all. The universe where I originate from or ones similar to that, those would probably be considered weird to those who don’t live with this stuff and probably see it as fiction and all. Or the one where they keep going back and forth between two realms and sometimes more, and has a lot of magic stuff going on, a lot of chaos- and that one with a talking donkey, a talking cat and a big green ogre…and much more. That one where…I dunno, that big scary unicorn looking thing was chasing me and kept blasting at me before it…I don’t even know what happened to it actually, for some reason it exploded into ashes when I was leaving the universe. The sound was horrible-
