The Adrigami-to-Feligami pipeline is beautiful wonderful incredible of course but the MARIGAMI-to-Feligami pipeline… Especially after this special… Oh dear…

It’s about the insane parallels and contrasts between Mari and Felix in general, of course.

It’s about Kagami struggling with her queerness; only to embrace it fully in Representation (That little speech at the end… Queerest thing ever…).

It’s about Kagami being so proud of her lack of hesitation and flaunting it in front of Marinette; only for Felix to throw her fears back in her face after two (2) minutes of conversation.

It’s about Kagami struggling to make and keep her very first friend; only to meet someone who is even more socially incompetent than she is — someone she initially tries to push away, but can’t actually lose.

It’s about Kagami constantly feeling like the discarded part of a trio, while also being far too jealous for Adrigaminette to actually work out; only for Felix to make her the centre of his universe in the span of two (2) episodes.

It’s about Kagami lying for Adrien but hating that he lied to her. It’s about Kagami keeping Ladybug’s identity safe from Monarch through two (lots of 2s today) akumatisations, but spilling the beans to Felix immediately. It’s about Kagami convincing Felix, Liar Extraordinaire, he is safe enough to tell the truth, but failing to convince Bug Noire, a literal superheroine, to do the same.

It’s about Kagami not knowing how to react when Marinette first hugs her in Perfection; only to take the lead in comforting Adrien and sending Bug Noire away in the special.

It’s about how “And I’ve changed since I met you” brutally went from “I have become a better and warmer person because of my feelings for you” to “You don’t seem to actually know me at all. And perhaps I did not know you as well as I thought either.”

The sad thing about being in the ML fandom for so long is that u see so many people come and go 🥺 I've watched huge fan pages start and end either because they left the fandom or stopped watching the show or anything else rlly. Every time it's so bitter sweet ML makes me feel so many irl feelings it's kinda unfair.

Very sad Luka left Paris (aka will be more uninvolved in the show). For me, that episode was the end of Miraculous. I've stopped watching and just lurk in his beautiful fanart...but of course, I'll still draw him!

Hear me out: Marigami Hazbin Hotel AU! Mari would be the princess of hell, ie Charlie and Kagami would be Vaggie! I’ve prob put way too much thought into this lol. But imagine Tom as Lucifer, lol. Also, NathMarc as HuskerDust. (I imagine you can guess who’s who, lol) Sabrina is Niffty, she just has those vibes. Tell me Ismael wouldn’t be the perfect Alastor, with Reshma as Rosie! Anarka is Carmilla Carmine, just imagine her singing Whatever It Takes to Juleka and Luka. Or Out for Love. Also: Lucien as Valentino, perfect right? Lila would be a perfect Vox, and I’d make Louis Velvette, so they could be the ‘L’s like the Vee’s. Adrien gives me massive Emily vibes, and Emilie could be Sera. Gabriel would be a much more serious Adam, or he could act like Adam, which would be funnier, and Nathalie as Lute. Alix as Cherri Bomb, Marc’s bestie. And tell me Max wouldn’t be a perfect Sir Pentious! What do you think? LMK if you think of other characters!

Random Miraculous Thoughts: Deflagration Edition!

I know I’m a little late but I literally didn’t know this episode was coming out until yesterday after it had already been released. This show is a pain to keep up with lol

Alya saying “did I miss an episode?” made me laugh. I love a good fourth wall break.

Followed by Marinette saying “there have been no new episodes”. YEAH THERE SURE HAVEN’T BECAUSE THIS SHOW CAN NEVER HAVE A CONSISTENT SCHEDULE.

Further proof for my theory that every Chat Noir automatically flirts with their Ladybug no matter what

I’ve been waiting for the return of the Resistance and their silly sauce-based codenames!

Marinette and Adrien are worried about each other 🥺 They don’t KNOW it’s each other but STILL.

Gabriel’s little dance was absolutely hilarious

It’s always cute to see the whole school shipping Marinette and Adrien. I loved everyone giving her thumbs up when she sat with him.

It was fun to see Zoe tell her off though.

And the way Lila manipulated her into getting mad…interesting. I would bet she’s still talking to Monarch.

Alya and Zoe just. FREEZING in the middle of their transformation words genuinely made me gasp out loud.

I couldn’t help but think of that one post about Gabriel having to get his ears pierced when he was putting the earrings in.

DOES he have them pierced? I know the Miraculous can change forms, so did they turn into stick-ons for him? Inquiring minds want to know.

I once again forgot about the Miraculous Cure for a minute and was extremely worried about Plagg after he did The Thing

Props to Tikki for coming up with a smart plan. She’s clearly the brains of the Ladybug operation.

The Resistance finally lives up to their name! Is my “a gang of teenagers takes down Monarch” prediction going to come true?

I didn’t predict them using water guns full of ketchup and mustard though lol

I knew the new holders wouldn’t last long because almost nothing does on this show, but that was faster than I expected.

It does actually make sense though, since Monarch still doesn’t know Ladybug and Chat Noir’s identities.

Aww Plagg wanted to say goodbye to Zoe. That was sweet.

And he gave her a little pep talk 😭 I hope they get to see each other again someday.

In conclusion I’m still liking this season a lot and I’m interested to see what comes next!

At first I wasn't a fan of Adrien being a sentibeing but now I really connect with it.

Adrien has to deal with this struggle of being pulled by so many different strings. From what his father wants and expects him to do, to what others expect from him.

He is constantly being forced to do what others what him to do without any say. He does try to push back and resist it but eventually he givens in.

Having Adrien be a Senti is an easy way to show that it's hard to say no to things you don't want to do, especially when it comes to parental figures.

We all want to live up to what our parents want from us and that's a hard thing to do. But we also want to love our life in the way we choose. But making that choice is hard when you don't want to disappoint people.

He wants his father's love and support so at first he is willing to listen. But as Adrien grows he starts to see that his father doesn't always have his best interests in mind and wants to use him as a pawn. Yet Adrien still for the most part obeys because he is reward with love when he does.

I guess my point is that it is hard to go against other people's wishes and its hard to say no sometimes even when we really want to. And Adrien being a sentibeing is a great way to show that in my opinion. Cause he can break free from the control I know he can.

so, y’all mean to tell me that felix, the dude who WILLINGLY worked with a terrorist, harassed ladybug, manipulated his “darling” cousin, knows that his uncle is a terrorist, and that his aunt is dead in a basement, can be redeemed because he had two angsty scenes with sentimonsters and his dad is a piece of shit, but lila and chloe are irredeemable monsters who are unlovable, and they are pure evil even though they have the almost exact same writing as felix? feminism my ass

and before some of y’all come in with nathalie, that is ONE female character that was redeemed (and had a shitty redemption). we still have audrey and andre, who the latter gets redeemed even though he ACTIVELY abused and neglected chloe. then we have gabriel, who was an active abuser who can get redeemed, but sure, bring up ONE redeemed female go try and disprove my point that miraculous is actively misogynistic and isn’t the feminist-inclusive show it claims to be.

Adding on because of my tism brain, it’s not even like I’m mad that Chloé isn’t being redeemed. I can live with the villain or whatever they’re trying to go with Chloé and Lila, but it’s just really odd that He Who Shall Not Be Named, will say that characters who do xyz actions cannot be redeemed, but redeems two male characters who have done said actions, while demonizing two female characters.

I could even live with the Felix redemption if his actions weren’t as horrible as they are, but I cannot change have canon. Some one rip this show from my hands before I actually lose my mind (it’s been seven fucking years)

The thing with Feligami is: it’s not what any of us expected. Not just because they were an unlikely match, but because of the way their romance was written.

We could have had a Princess and the Pauper storyline, with Felix courting Kagami under his cousin’s identity for episodes on end. We could have had an enemies-to-lovers dynamic, chins tilted up with swords, a four-season-long dissertation on how the power of love can bridge even the strongest rivalries.

But none of that would have been nearly as fascinating as what canon did.

Instead, we got two kids who have been scarred in more ways than one. Two survivors who immediately make a connection and bare their souls to one another. Two characters whose love is a rebellion not only against their abusers, but against the narrative itself.

It’s so simple! So brilliant!! It’s spelled out in golden letters against the most beautiful sunset!!! And yet somehow, given the size of the wider fandom, I would still call it a rarepair. WAKE UP MIRACULERS
