I have finished both Re-Main and Number24 in the last 3 days.

Loved Num24, the characters, the fan service *chefs kiss* I could talk for too long about Seiichirou specifically 💕 but it made me love all those characters so fast which is all I want really out of a sports anime lolz

Re-Main was… good… but I have a lot of thoughts and while I liked characters I didn’t really love anyone the way I typically do/expect to. Also i think that’s that straightest sports anime I’ve ever seen which is… not a compliment. But all in all ended good so 🤷🏼

Me and my gf have been watching various magical girl animes and we are currently watching “pretty cure healing” which came out in 2020 which is doctor themed encourage young girls to go in to medicine. We had previously watched” pretty cure delicious party” which came out in 2022 which is home maker themed where the kids are figuratively raising a child who also functions as the main mascot character. This change from encouraging young girls to go into under represented jobs to home maker is quite interesting and is probably the result of covid.

getting emotional over footage of an amateur scuba diver interacting with a coelacanth. they are hunted by large deepwater predators, and here comes a large creature bearing the brightest lights it's ever seen, making strange noises, but it does not shy away. it hovers, calmly, as the diver reaches out and trails a hand down its back. im strongly against the anthropomorphizing of real life animals but the stupid emotional part of me loudly insists this is because it recognizes us, the alternating movements of its four paired limbs matching the diver's four paired limbs, & it is thinking, "hello, cousins, we missed you these 66 million years, it's so good to see you again. welcome back, welcome home."

wolfpack. aka: if not friend, then why friend-shaped?

"Hey-- uh, Danny?" There's an almost imperceptible tremor in Tucker's voice.

Danny doesn't look up from what he's doing, his pencil scritching across his notebook as he tries to do another quadratic formula question. "Hm."

"What's -- uh -- what's with the dogs?"

He looks up now, and finally sees where Tucker is -- standing in the doorway of his room with an ashy look on his face and a skewed, nervous smile. He's got a white knuckle grip on the doorknob. Sam is wide-eyed behind him, and using him as a partial meat-shield.

Danny looks down to the two giant ghost wolves sprawled next to him lazily. One large green one with his head in Danny's lap, letting him use him as a prop-up for his notebook. Another equally large black one splayed against his hip, sleeping on her side with her head tilted inward to his calf.

Automatically, a grin tilts across Danny's face, and he lifts his notebook up to scratch behind the green one's ears. He opens a lazy eye, one that is bloody red with a ring of yellow around the pupil, before slipping it shut and leaning his head into Danny's touch. "This is Sirius and Procyon," he says, and reaches down to scratch Sirius' belly. "And they're not dogs, they're wolves."

"Great," Tucker says, his voice suddenly much smaller and faint, "Love that distinction."

Sirius makes a great big groan, and Danny's grin widens, his heart swelling with fondness. His hand slips away from her belly, and before he can put his notebook back down, Procyon pushes his head up his lap until his ear is against his stomach, demanding pets now too.

Sam peeks her head up from over Tucker's shoulder, "I think what Tucker's asking here is what are they doing here, Danny."

He shrugs, scratching under Procyon's chin. "They kinda just showed up. I tried sending them back to the Zone, but they keep returning." And they were weirdly intent on just following him around, which is the only reason he gave up on returning them. They weren't causing trouble, and they knew how to hide around the living. Plus, he just loves dogs. "So now I have two wolves living with me."

This, oddly enough, did not do anything to calm Sam and Tucker down. Tucker's mouth purses into a thin line, and he presses the sides of his palms to his lips in prayer. "How have your parents not found out about this?"

Danny wordlessly raises his hand, and his sleeve slides down to reveal a thin chain bracelet hooked around his wrist. He whistles sharply, and both Procyon and Sirius jerk their heads up to look at him, ears pricked up and eyes alert.

Silently, he points to his wrist and rattles it twice, and in unison both wolves stand up and pounce. Instantly, they turn into a respective, opaque black and green mist that swirls around the bracelet and forms into two, flat wolf charms.

Both wolves are posing in the stereotypical wolf howl, with little stars indented on the sides. Procyon's charm has the Canis Minor constellation engraved on it, while Sirius has the Canis Major.

Danny faces Sam and Tucker, and points at his wrist. "Like this."

Of course, my appearance on the pond did not go unnoticed. But reaction is also a good source of information. As it turned out, adult turtles are more calm and even confident than the younger generation. They were in no hurry to leave the heated log and sometimes looked up at the top, where I was sitting. The young turtles immediately swam away from any movement🐢🌱

Maybe turtles are not the fastest animals on land, but in the water they are the speed itself, if they need to😏⚡️

Конечно, мое появление на пруду не осталось незамеченным. Но реакция тоже является хорошим источником информации. Как оказалось, взрослые черепахи более спокойные и даже увереннее в себе, нежели молодое поколение. Они не торопились покинуть нагретое бревно и ино��да поглядывали на верх, где сидела я. Молоденькие черепахи сразу уплывали от любого движения🐢🌱

Может на суше черепахи не самые быстрые животные, но в воде они сама скорость, если им надо😏⚡️

do you ever just feel like you want to cry so you try to look for fanfics that will make you sob- not like crying softly but full ON breaking down like losing your shit cry. Me personally- I’m obsessed with storylines where the reader is just shoved off to the side- like no one cares and slowly people just start to notice and care. Then this causes like reader to lose their shit, and have a full on breakdown. I do NOT want those storylines where they have so much potential- as in the character is ABSOLUTELY terrible to the reader and they just forgive the character so easily like they didn’t do anything- covering it with a “happy ending”…. LIKE HAVE SOME BACKBONE PLEASE… GOSH.. but also I want the story to be heart ripping, mascara running down my eyes slow burn and if they do forgive each other- it has to be in an almost death situation, (like it needs to be giving understand by keshi or crybaby by the neighborhood) but if we’re talking about while reader is getting treated like DIRT it should be giving Lana del ray- needs to be angelically numbing. Anyways that’s it- just some random thoughts but if yall could be nice… can you drop some fanfics that made you sob… pretty please 🥹🙏

So there's Danny-suddenly a halfa- by definition both alive and dead. He is two things that are diametrically opposed. They cannot exist at the same time, so they don't.

Every time Danny goes ghost, he dies again. Each time the rings of light engulf him he has a moment again of being electrocuted to death. Phandom greatly enjoys giving Danny Lichtenberg scars, but electric shock has other common symptoms such as hearing loss, tremors, and seizures...

...all things Danny faces every time he comes back to life.

It takes them awhile to put it all together- that transforming and fighting makes it all worse- and by then Danny's been through rounds of medication for his seizures that do nothing and has a permanent level of hearing loss. (And Ancients does the hearing loss explain some of his troubles with school.)

Part of Danny is tempted, each and ever time, to stay a ghost where he doesn't feel the constant ache of pain and trembling muscles and muted world. Part of him is tempted to stay dead.

But he pulls through it. Things settle with the ghosts. Danny is able to hang up Phantom and being a hero and instead focusing on living. The seizures stop, the tremors and pain have good days and bad, Tucker helped him make some amazing hearing aides... he lives.

He gets an internship with the Wayne Foundation and their outreach helping children left permanently injured by the attacks in Gotham- inspired in part by Jason Todd-Wayne's own partial hearing loss from an explosion.

When they meet, neither of them quite know just how deeply the other person can understand what they've been through.

I couldn’t contain my excitement over the Uzumaki anime – my no. 1 favorite horror manga. It's the one that inspired the creation of this blog and turned me into a huge Junji Ito fan. Years ago, I imagined how amazing its anime adaptation would be if it's black-and-white and maintained its eerie atmosphere. I still can’t believe they’ve made that vision a reality.
