7: Everlasting Love - Howard Jones a banger! i think this was a fairly popular hit for him in the late 80s

14: Galileo - Indigo Girls another banger and it's currently #1 on my On Repeat at the moment. the drumming is so good on this one!

21: They Can't Take That Away From Me (Reprise) - Bruce Greenwood i really thought this one would be higher since it's so short and i know i listened to it A LOT but whatevs HE SOUNDS SO GOOOOOOOOOD OMG IM STILL NOT OVER IT AND PROBABLY NEVER WILL BE

28: One Thing Remains - Israel and New Breed this one slaps, it was so fun to play on the drums for my old church in TN, it'll get ya hype

42: King of Kings - Hillsong Worship also a nice one if you're into the ccm stuff, starts off mellow and builds quite nicely towards the end. a good one for easter

63: Do You Believe In Us - Jon Secada this is my childhood and my siblings and i know this whole album front to back, but this one is probably my favorite on the album

77: One Heartbeat - Smokey Robinson another one from my childhood and was crucial in Smokey's comeback in the late '80s. i remember years ago trying to explain to my mom that the verse and chorus seem to be in two different keys but she didn't get what i meant. i'm sure an actual musician can explain it better lol

91: Breakin' Away - Al Jarreau this album was also pretty important in my childhood, i mean, how could you not love Al Jarreau? this song was always my favorite on the album (but the whole thing is gooooood) oh and also, the amazing Jeff Porcaro from Toto playing drums on this track!

98: Valerie - Steve Winwood this one really puzzles me because i don't listen to it like ever because i'm more familiar with the remixed/rereleased one from his Chronicles compilation in '87 (this one is from 1982) and i feel like every time this one starts playing, i immediately queue up the other one and play that one instead. definitely feel like spotify got this one wrong

Ellie’s out with Cat and Max, and Tess is glad for the quiet.

“Hungry?” Joel asks, and Tess shakes her head- pulls Joel in by the collar, and melds their mouths together. Their kiss deepens until Joel lifts Tess up onto the kitchen island, hands on her thighs as he stands between them, squeezing tightly as Joel pressed in close. Tess’s fingers tightened in his hair, musing it, and held him close, nipping at his lower lip.

When was the last time you cried? uhhh whatever day that was I had my breakdown over One Day

Do you have kids? two. 9 & 6 10 & 7. lol what.

What sports have you played/do you play? Played soccer and basketball until halfway through high school (when I moved 3 hrs away). Played on a rec softball team in college for a game, where I then fractured my hand catching a ball.

Do you use sarcasm? I would NEVER

First thing you notice about people? Hair?

What is your eye color? Hazel in the green/blue variety

Scary movies or happy endings? Happy. I don't do scary.

Any talents? I can juggle. And also use those Chinese baoding balls, though not sure that's a talent. Otherwise I'm boring.

Where were you born? The same state I live in.

What are your hobbies? Reading, crochet, cross stitching. Card games. I miss playing video games but I've lost control of those and they take a lot more time.

Do you have any pets? of the Buttercup variety.

I'm not ashamed to admit that these two have stolen again my life and my heart and though I'm busy with the long story "We were never broken. Just lost", there are hundreds of little scenes/moments living rent-free in my head. So I thought "why not writing them in the form of one-shots?"

The X-Files, 6:8: The Rain King

what this photo does not fully show is that they are swaying while observing people make out at a 20th high school reunion

What is the plot? Are they back on the x-files? Surely not, but they seem to be getting away with acting like they are, and Scully's not trying to stick to doing another assignment. Mulder has told Scully something vague about the mysterious weather situation of a small town in Kansas - but it was convincing enough that she got on a tiny plane to go there with him! While there, they investigate the weather phenomena, and what people believe about them. They also sort out a 20+ year crush, and have a lot of people ask them about their feelings for each other.

What does this episode suggest about Mulder and Scully’s relationship with each other? Everyone in this town believes that Mulder and Scully are a couple, and is astounded to learn that they aren't. Scully in fact confirms that they have never kissed. Mulder is sought out for dating advice, which Scully calls "the blind leading the blind." She later gives some advice about the value of relationships being rooted in friendship (which I am familiar with from the culture and also from @randolphbellmd). Mulder is "perfectly happy with his friendship with Agent Scully." Also, of course, Mulder does not gaze at Scully. (Mulder gazes at Scully, as we all know.) Meanwhile, it's implied that they share a room and a bed after a tornado drops a cow on Mulder's motel room, but any negotiations they make about this situation are not shown.
