What is the plot? A genie - who was originally a person in 15th century France - has been wrapped in a rug in a storage facility since possibly 1978. A boat-obsessed storage facility employee unwraps her and sets off a series of improbable events, starting with his boss suddenly not having a mouth, which is how Mulder and Scully get involved. Further events: Scully prepares to autopsy an invisible body and gets excited about the scientific implications - until she's trying to show it to someone else and it's disappeared from the morgue locker; the genie ponders Mulder's fish; Skinner - and the people he's in a meeting with - observe what seems to be Mulder calling Skinner's desk chair a bitch!

What does this episode suggest about Mulder and Scully’s relationship with each other? This is the episode where they have beer on Mulder's couch and, when he laments that he hasn't made the world a happier place, Scully counters that she's pretty happy, so that probably counts for something. When Mulder worries that he's accidentally wiped out all other humans with his wish for world peace, he goes looking for Scully.
