So I went to the Leeds Music Festival last week and it was the cherry on top of the cake to the best summer I've ever had with a group I don't just consider my friends, they are my family, and I love them with all my heart. That Scotland flag came with us everywhere and having it nearby just made me feel safe and part of something (as ridiculous as that sounds!)

I'm back from hiatus... again

For those who care I'll fill you in on a bit about the stuff that caused me to return to my blog with my metaphorical tail in between my legs - I went to reading festival - I MET BASTILLE AND THEY SIGNED MY JUMPER!!! - I was so star struck that I could barely speak to Woody and Dan because security was rushing everyone along but they were so lovely and kind even though I was a shaking, half-mute half-rambling mess - When I met Will I was actually shaking so much and he asked if I was alright and I said I was fine, just a little bit nervous, and he seemed genuinely concerned and surprised and asked why. I said that I was a massive fan and I had been since I was thirteen and he said "wow, really? I feel like I've got to do something amazing now to make this worthwhile" and I said the CHEESIEST thing ever ("just you guys being here and playing music makes it all worthwhile, thank you) but then I was being rushed away so I said bye and hastily left - Kyle signed my stuff but didn't talk to me :( I think it was because they were in a rush though - After I left I realised I hadn't asked them for a hug and mentally kicked myself - When they played at Reading I was so close to the front and nearly died but it was amazing 😭 - I made some really nice friends in the queue so just in case they're reading this, I was the girl with purple glitter on my face and we spoke about dan and fall out boy and you guys were so lovely to me! Thank you! (Sorry for leaving as quickly as I did, I was in shock) Basically, fest weekend was one of the best weekends of my entire life
