Ramman and the Goth Squad, aka I wanted to do winged character cameos and we're all edgelords except Kytte. Ramman, Swan, Lugh, and Six belong to Kytte, Apel, Hymy, and Mantis respectively!

Still on my religious rebellion kick - Hoar has a shrine in Baldur's Gate. If I'm correct he once served Bhaal, then Bane, and is now apparently lawful neutral? The tragicomedy of The Dark Urge dismantling their own legacy, choosing Karlach over Gortash, and buddying up with Jergal to take out The Dead Three sounds like ironic justice to me. Any thoughts on this?

Bhaal getting fucked over by an old ally again? Mask and Bane are high fiving Hoar in the background. (Myrkul, having been fucked over by his bestie sending his horrible brat to kill his Chosen and swathes of his followers in this game, is not sympathetic).

Hoar is a good choice for a Durge who wakes up cranky and whose first dialogue pick of the game is 'Curse whoever did this to you.' ('The torturer behind this cruel prank will meet your malice when you get out of here.') Especially one who remains cranky and goes after their entire past life. My god, there are so many people to take vengeance against in this game.

Gortash needs to be punished for everyone he fucked over. Raphael, most of the House of Hope, the Flymms... so many people who made him who he is need to be punished too...

Orin needs punishing. Sarevok must be punished for his crimes against her and her mother. Bhaal is responsible for both their crimes. How you will hold a god responsible, who knows, but best find a way...

Of course there's also the question for Hoarite Durge about what their victims deserve...

I haven't seen any mention of him working for anyone though, nor changing alignment. Not in sourcebooks, at least.

Assuran changed his name to Hoar and joined the Faerûnian pantheon after getting pushed out by his fellow deity Ramman, who he later killed in revenge, which was the final nail in the Untheric Pantheon's coffin.

Bhaal alone amongst the Dead Three lists him amongst his allies (or did, pre Time of Troubles), which has not been elaborated on.

Bane's relationships, alliance with Bhaal and Myrkul aside:

'Bane hates virtually the entire Faerûnian pantheon but holds special antipathy for Torm, Cyric, Mystra, Tempus, Helm, Lathander, Oghma, and Ilmater, in that order. He has established a working relationship with Loyiatar, Mask, and Talona, but as these deities desperately fear him, the alliances are not strong.'

Hoar:

'Both Tyr and Shar contest for Hoar’s tormented Soul, as the Dark Goddess seeks to turn him into a servant of blind vengeance and bitterness while the Maimed God seeks to unlock Hoar’s bittersweet humour and shift his portfolio to favour irony and poetic justice. Meanwhile, Hoar conspires with Beshaba in unleashing bad luck on the deserving.'
