I hope your favorite driver(s) NEVER has to endure the treatment that Lando has received for simply *existing*. It's honestly heartbreaking that people think this behavior is okay.

Adding to this:

Screenshotting the headlines of Lando saying he didn't want Oscar to hand him wins and posting them after today is NOT the flex you think it is.

Lando was visibly annoyed after the race today and even said he wasn't happy about the way it went down in the post-race interview.

For the love of motorsport, STOP BLAMING LANDO. Lando didn't make the call, and given how he's spoken about team orders in the past, I highly doubt he was sitting in that pre-race meeting begging them to make Oscar swap places.

Y'all seriously love any excuse to hate on him. It's ridiculous.

Xena really is the best show. Nowhere in the history of television can you experience an episode filled with the complexities of a character dealing with the overwhelming grief of losing her lover and sacrificing a chance to find closure in order to help those she hurt in the past... while also witnessing a bunch of people doing drugs, an intensely filmed staring contest, and a poorly done job of a woman's head photoshopped onto a spider's body. Max saying McLaren has been nonstop complaining is so funny to me, given how during the last few races he's done nothing but complain about the car/strategy/every other damn thing, and now this. Takes a complainer to know one, I guess.

Btw OP is absolutely SPOT ON about the double standard with regards to Lando. It truly baffles me how much people hate on Lando for seemingly existing. People saying "he's weak" or "he can't handle the pressure," but then when he's more ruthless (like Max or Charles) during a race, he's too mean?? Btw don't even get me started on Helmut Marko and his bullshit.

Despite the result, I'm insanely impressed with Lando's ability to do what he did with that car, and to be as calm and unbotheted as he was with the shenanigans. Here's hoping that Mexico goes better for him.

Max saying that all McLaren has done is complain is really funny to me. Says you who was immediately on the radio tattling that he moved under breaking and then immediately again to tattle that he advanced positions off the track when you had literally done the same thing laps before with no penalty and even during that moment.

“No-, it is not. But I can clearly tell when you want something. “ your voice came out harsher than you intended, though Jing Yuan knew you weren't truly aggravated.

Walking behind you, Jing Yuan slowly wrapped his hands around your waist, he pressed his body against yours, laying his head in the crook of your neck letting out a small chuckle.

“Well, I might as well admit my wrong doings, “ he sighed, his breath tickled your neck making you shiver, “I did come in here for something. Though I should be polite when asking; may you please cook my favorite love? I would truly be thankful… “ Jing Yuan spoke in a gentle voice, you could feel the vibrations of his voice through your body. At this point you completely folded and just gave in.

🍞 Jing Yuan looks across the living room from the luscious chestnut colored recliner to see you and Mimi playing together; you giving all your attention to his adorable companion made a feeling arise inside him, he was quite jealous, from a lion at that. Jing Yuan leans back into the comfortable chair, closing his eyes and letting out a loud sigh in hopes of pulling your attention away from Mimi, even if it's just for a second. Hearing no response he opened on of his eyes directing his gaze towards you would was still petting Mimi who was laying her head on your lap.

Making sure to sigh louder this time he yet again preformed the same action as before only to realize that you weren't going to say anything to him. Jing Yuan let out incoherent words about Mimi being all over you while you didn't even give him the time of day. Jing Yuan quietly get out of his chair and sits down next to you on the soft white couch in close proximity. You looked over to him as he pushed Mimi's head gentle out your lap.

"What'd you do that for-” you where cut off by the feeling of Jing Yuan’s head resting on your lap, a small smile was plastered on his face as he grabbed you hand moving it Stoke his hair.

You sigh as you run your hands through his silky hair, smiling, “If you wanted my attention you could've just told me so. Look at Mimi, she looks betrayed. “

Jing Yuan looks over to Mimi who some how has a look of betrayal on her face. He sighed but soon smiled after as he reached his hands out to Mimi to pet her. Unfortunately for Jing Yuan Mimi took this as a sign to rest her head onto of his, pretty much almost suffocating him. He struggled a little to push Mimi off while you laughed at the pair. to be honest you're surprise he didn't die that day.

You scrunched your nose up in disgust, turning away from the man and continued to walk to Jing Yuan’s office but this belligerent man would not stop following you, so you turned around and told hin sternly that you where not interested, though this did not stop his disgusting comments.

You feel hand slowly crib your shoulder gently and looked over quickly; thank god it was only Jing Yuan, though you can tell he seemed to be quite angry at the moment.

“[Name], are you doing ok? Us this drunken fool bother you my love? “ nothing but sweet concerns feel from Jing Yuan's mouth as he checked on your well being.

“Yeah! Who are you?! Get outta here, I saw them first” at this point this random man could barely make out any words coherently.

Jing Yuan looks at the man dead in his eyes, he smiles at him kindly but you could obviously tell it was a facade. “Sir, I think it's time for you to go home before I have to show you-“ Jing Yuan was cut off by the drunk man spitting insults his way. You can tell Jing Yuan is getting even more aggravated by the second.

“Just a friendly reminder, though I am a general, I have no problem having a physical altercation with a civilian. “ Jing Yuan spoke with pure malice filling his throat; at this point he was completely done dealing with this man and just wanted hin gone.

It was like a bell hand rung in the drunk mans’ head after hearing the words “general” and “physical altercation”.the man slowly started to apologize and back away slowly not wanting to provoke the general any longer. He soon began to run away far away from where you and Jing Yuan stand. Soon after Jing Yuan began to lecture you about not telling him where you are and about how he could've not been there, don't worry it's all out of love.

Boy finding those roses where quite a challenge. They where very pricey, though Jing Yuan didn't care about the price at all, he was way more focused on finding an good retail florist that can guarantee that the roses are in perfect condition. Jing Yuan would spend around 3 weeks looking for only the best to gift to you; he refused to give you nothing but the best. But finally after searching for what felt like years, he was finally able to find and but from a trusted source. He planned on giving you the rare roses when he got off of work for the day, thank god time past by fast because it seems like he's more excited than you'd be

Jing Yuan see you sitting on the couch next to Mimi who's curled up next to your feet. You look over to Jing Yuan who had a wide grin on his face as he called out your name voice laced in joy.

“[Name], do you remember the rises you wanted? Ah, the Juliet roses? “ Jing Yuan voice came out smooth and calm though he had a huge grin on his face.

First of all, where? Is he far more confident since Miami? Yeah. Wouldn't you be, too, if you were in his place? I think y'all are seriously mistaking confidence in his abilities for egotistical behavior, and that's honestly silly.

Second of all, don't act like the ego/cockiness of drivers like Verstappen and Leclerc isn't why you root for them. You point fingers at Lando (who btw auctioned off his Hungarian GP helmet to benefit 2 blindness charities - 50/50 split between Hungary and the UK, among other things), calling him "egotistical" and "too cocky" while embracing those very same qualities in Max and Charles.

You and your favorite drivers feel threatened. Just admit it already, and move on. Quit acting like idiots on the internet sending death threats to people because you think they "have an ego."

She's home! They had to cancel yesterday, so I got her today after work. So far we think they lied or something bc we've had her out twice so far, with all 4 of us holding her, and not a single bite. They said she was cage territorial, but even picking her up, no issues. Maybe she's gonna pull a Jekyll/Hyde on us, but.... compared to Picante, who bit Joel the second he picked her up, and charged any hands in her viv? This one is a sweetie.

We were gonna name her Xena, but since she's not too warrior-y so far, she's now Gabrielle or Gabby. I gave her a couple coconut chips before putting her away again & she went oooooh yes thank you!! I love her.

But I don't think the interview will mean anything towards canon, either good or bad (for what it's worth I don't think he was bad-mouthing the show when he said he wasn't satisfied with the ending. Like, ofc he wasn't, from Tommy's POV it was very unsatisfying and he was directly asked)

And I can see why everyone's pissed at Tim, so am I, but not only over his treatment of Lou; rather his careless treatment of the show as a whole, because this 'only telling people stuff the day before/the day of' is not new and is not Lou-exclusive. So yeah, idk, I can't tell if this made me put on my clown makeup or take it off

Given how in "Bonus Disc - First Save" there is a picture where presumably on the right is Cam's Fran, I think it makes sense that it is Cam.

5. tremily - listen i know i don’t ship them personally and that they’re kind of having a falling out but let’s go a few episodes back where ONC could actually write healthy female-male friendships. if they wanted any guy and girl to fall in love and get together off-screen, it shouldn’t have been anyone but tremily. emily actually listens to trevor and vice versa, and it’s evident they care for each other. trevor choosing derek over emily is like the girl in a love triangle choosing the guy that knows no boundaries and is an asshole over the kind guy who actually likes her. also they’re queer4queer and i think that is beautiful. they could have such a complex romance or just relationship in general if only ONC knew how to write

4. gabellie/jaiden - the ‘vanilla’ canon couples are tied for fourth because they’re kind of similar to me. they had some level of build-up and miscommunication (jaiden being enemies to lovers and gabellie having that thing that everyone forgot because it didn’t ultimately matter in DCAS because ONC forgot they should care for their wlw couple and just gave us mlm drama) and they’re like. idk at the same point in their relationship now. been together for years, they’re happy & healthy. they’re good for each other. i wish they had more build-up or depth, but hey, ONC would find a way to ruin that too so it’s whatever

3. jajakeden - i find the concept of jake not only getting over tom and starting to date aiden, but also having an enemies to lovers arc with james, hilarious. jajakeden is genuinely so funny to picture. i hope they are happy forever

2. grettabby - i LOVE grett and gabby’s two episode friendship. i wish they were actually fleshed out more and given some time as friends to interact more but i’ll take what i can get. i think they’re very good together and i hope the finale offers us some crumbs of them in the stands or something. i love that they finally became friends after all that teasing and hoping and i am pretty content with what we got. could’ve kissed on the mouth too but hey there’s still time /hj

1. jakeden - i mean. you expected this. as soon as they started getting along i made them by banner on this account and went crazy on my main. idk what it is about them, but they had chemistry way more than the majority of actual canon ships. i think about the way they interacted in eps 12-13 and how they hugged awkwardly in the lie detector episode. how they helped each other despite everything. how jake grew as a person and actually showed it mostly due to aiden. how aiden genuinely prefers jake over ally. how far they’ve come. idk man they just... they deserve better tbh
