Alright, look. I know I joke a lot about how 'evil' Cal is, and I'm partially playing it up for comedy. But - and I can't stress this enough - I am not kidding in the slightest when I say that Cal is legitimately a threatening force in the comic. I still haven't forgotten that he's alive, and he's definitely a real, actual problem.

I don't have a clue what he really is, or whose agenda he represents - but I'm watching in real time as Lil' Cal becomes ever more tightly threaded through the story, and I unironically believe he's going to be crucial to the plot. This might be where that starts.

Note that this is an Aradia who, a dozen pages ago, was explicitly stated to not feel alive.

Anyway, the remains of Cal have found themselves in pre-session Aradia’s hands. This was before the timeline split into hundreds of Aradiabots, which means that every iteration of Aradia possesses a Cal.

Can I just say, I love Lian's new fit. Keep the cat mask, but putting it in her Dad's colors feels like a good way of merging her pre-flashpoint history with Ram V's revival of her.

We don't exactly have sources of her raising him, but we do have sources of her being his mother, literally. The Orphic Hymns are the best well-known example. Dionysus is born from Persephone in said hymns. We also have his mix with Zagreus, when they're treated as the same god. Or at the very least, 'Zagreus' is used as epithet for Dionysus. In a fragment of Sisyphus by Aeschylus, he mentions Zagreus to be Hades son, so, yes, that means Dionysus is Persephone's son as well, since no other mother is mentioned.

Now, being raised by her? Yeah, it's mentioned a couple times. In the Orphic Hymns again it is said he was raised by her. But in other works ( Nonnus of Panopolis, for example ) it is said he was taken to Olympus, so not raised by her, just her son.

Everyone seems to know about a myth in which Dionysos is raised by Persephone and Hades, everyone except me. So if someone could help me with a source (should one exist, of course) I'd greatly appreciate it.

Maybe after being in heaven a while, some of the ex sinners(like angel dust, pentious, and others) begin to get bored of heaven and make a deal to be allowed back down from time to time. Like "How can this be heaven if I can't see people I care about? *puppy eyes*" They are allowed to go back to the hotel or even outside ( heavily supervised[maybe by the exorcist as a new job?]). But sometimes they bring stuff from upstairs, like Angel bring a new suit for Keke, or stuff like that. Pentious brings sometimes books for Vox to read and Charlie of how to help people to get better or how to treat people with severe head trauma. Angel sometimes tries to get some cheap booze back to heaven just for the taste of nostalgia, but he is almost never able.

Open travel between Heaven and Hell to see loved ones is a cute idea and will probably end up being canon in some form by the end of the show.

Only issue is now I’m thinking about Vox’s actual daughter (who has a 50-50 chance of being in either Heaven or Hell) coming down for a visit, not realizing everything that's happened.
