Stress yapper anon here !
So , I am currently working on myself to go to the maths quiz on the next level (lies , pure lies , im just scrolling through Tumblr and ao3) .
I absolutely understand the soft spots for folklore and myths . I personally am a fan of mythology myself . But like- I don't believe in them , i just like them . Then I read the Shiva trilogy books and lost my shit . Not only because I don't exactly know the actual myths of Lord Shiva so this is very new to me , the story itself was just... I think in my whole atheist life Lord Shiva took a toll , man . I am currently reading the Ram Chandra series which I know the stories of since my mama used to tell me his story everyday before bed , and well it's navaratri , it has a major connection to Lord Ram . I feel like that'll be too much to explain ? I'll come back with more folklore and myths from my region ? If you'd like :)
the awesome thing about religion is that you don't have to believe in it to think it's cool! I love myths. I love all kinds of myths. I love mythology!!! catholic and pre-christian "celtic" (mainly gallic, irish, and manx but I'd love to read more welsh) is my specialty but I read all kinds of stuff
anyone and everyone is free to tell me about your myths and folklore! it's like my job basically

It's 3 in the morning but I have a really important question so we all know that Amish Tripathi's books exist in the same universe we call the amishverse, so in the first book of the Shiva trilogy somebody mentions to Shiva that in meluha they have this rule book they follow and it's called"the song of God" so I'm assuming it's "Bhagvat Geeta" since it's literal translation too is "the song of God" we all know that the story of Mahabharata was narrated by ved vyas and then written by Ganesh ji. Ganesh ji also exists in Amishverse as son of Shiva and sati and the last chapter is written in his POV in the last book where he talks about a great war(which I'm assuming is Mahabharata) and maybe he will someday write about it (I'm assuming it's Amish ji telling how he intends to write about Mahabharata like how he is writing the ram Chandra series) so my question is if the Mahabharata happens after the fall of meluha then how come bhagwat Geeta exists in shiva's time?

Ram Shalaka: Unraveling the Mysteries of Divine Guidance
Ram Shalaka: A Source of Divine Knowledge
Among the religious practices and rituals prevalent in Indian culture, one of the most significant and mysterious practices is the "Ram Shalaka." It is considered a divine source of knowledge bestowed upon devotees through the grace and blessings of Lord Rama. Through the Ram Shalaka, individuals can receive special messages, advice, and guidance directly linked to Lord Rama. In this article, we will delve into the intricacies of Ram Shalaka, understand its significance, and explore its usage.
Try worlds best ram shalaka app at SnatanBhakti.com
What is Ram Shalaka?
Ram Shalaka is an ancient ritual performed to attain the knowledge of Lord Rama. According to tradition, devotees of Lord Rama perform specific rituals and meditation before using the Ram Shalaka, seeking the blessings of Lord Rama and guidance in their lives.
The name "Ram Shalaka" originates from the religious tradition wherein devotees seek answers and guidance from Lord Rama. The word "Shalaka" refers to a tablet or a device containing inscriptions or symbols through which divine guidance is sought. Thus, the Ram Shalaka embodies the essence of seeking divine counsel directly from Lord Rama.
How Does Ram Shalaka Work?
The process of using the Ram Shalaka involves a series of steps that begin with preparation and devotion. Devotees typically perform a puja or worship ritual to invoke the blessings of Lord Rama. Afterward, they focus their minds on their queries or seek guidance on specific matters.
The Ram Shalaka typically consists of inscriptions or verses from the Ram Charit Manas or other sacred texts related to Lord Rama. These inscriptions are arranged in a manner that forms a grid or matrix. Devotees then close their eyes and randomly select a point within this grid, often using their fingers or a small object.
The selected point corresponds to a specific verse or inscription within the grid, which serves as the divine response to the devotee's query or the guidance sought. This verse is interpreted by the devotee or a learned individual familiar with the scriptures, providing insights and direction in accordance with the teachings of Lord Rama.
Significance of Ram Shalaka
The Ram Shalaka holds immense significance in Hindu spirituality and is revered as a conduit for divine communication. It symbolizes the direct connection between devotees and Lord Rama, facilitating guidance, solace, and wisdom in times of need.
By seeking answers through the Ram Shalaka, devotees deepen their faith and spiritual connection with Lord Rama. It fosters introspection, patience, and acceptance of the divine will, guiding individuals on their spiritual journey towards enlightenment and self-realization.
Conclusion
In the rich tapestry of Hinduism, the Ram Shalaka shines as a beacon of divine knowledge and guidance. It serves as a testament to the profound faith and devotion of devotees towards Lord Rama, offering solace, direction, and enlightenment on the path of righteousness. Through the Ram Shalaka, devotees continue to seek the timeless wisdom and blessings of Lord Rama, enriching their lives with spiritual fulfillment and divine grace. Author : Pt. [SPOILER OF LORD OF THE FLIES AND THE SEVEN HUSBANDS OF EVELYN HUGO]
I am doing the 'swapping my phone screen time for reading time' challenge for a week. I'm using my screen time from last week.
Thursday
So I finished reading Lord of the Flies by William Golding and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I did not reach my reading goal on Monday (read 4 out of 9 hours) or Tuesday (read 2 out of 10 hours) or Wednesday (read 0 out of 3 hours 😭); but something is better than nothing.
I'm gonna read Madame Curie by Eve Curie and then start the Ram Chandra series by Amish Tripathi.
_________
Lord of the Flies
Author: William Golding
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
My review: I quite liked it. Is it a reflection of society or human nature as a whole? Absolutely not. I mean the subjects were privileged British boys, that is not a group I would select to represent society. Nevertheless, it was quite entertaining, the boys's personalities and child behaviour were well combined; I would even call it a sort of tragic-comedy.
The Officer, having interrupted a man-hunt, prepares to take the children off the island in a cruiser which will presently be hunting its enemy in the same implacable way. And who will rescue the adult and his cruiser?
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
Author: Taylor Jenkins Reid
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My review: I liked it! It was entertaining. I absolutely love how Evelyn Hugo's personality was built. I love her one-liners. The book had too many sexual scenes for my taste though.
A man hits you once and apologizes, and you think it will never happen again.
But intimacy is about truth. When you realize you can tell someone your truth, when you can show yourself to them, when you stand in front of them bare and their response is “You’re safe with me”—that’s intimacy.
Yep, Celia St. James and I are deviants!’ ” “We aren’t deviants.” “I know that, Celia. And you know that. But no one else knows that.” “But maybe they would. If they tried.” “They aren’t going to try. Do you get that? No one wants to understand people like us.” “But they should.” “There are lots of things we all should do, sweetheart. But it doesn’t work that way.”
He promises to love you forever. You promise to obey.
P.S. I'm really bad at articulation and English is not my first language, so please forgive me for any errors.

Bonjour
In simple language, it means Hello :) and that's what this blog is all about.
Hello you, My name is Nandini Yajurvedi. I'm from Delhi. In my family apart from my parents I have a younger brother and a grandmother. This is my first year at Delhi University and I am currently studying BCom from Spmc. I did my schooling at St. George's School. Since childhood, I am a very dedicated student towards my studies. I tend to do my assessments creatively and in the best possible manner. I am passionate about reading books and my favourite genre is Fictional. Some of my favourite book series is Harry Potter by J.K Rowling, Shiva Trilogy and Ram Chandra Series by Amish Tripathi, and Dork Diaries by Rachel Renée Russell. I am a huge Potterhead <3
I love to spend time with my family and hang out with my friends. I also love listening to music very much. I am very keen on learning to drive as I love to travel. Literally, I love journeys more than destinations. I also love beautiful sunsets, pleasant weather and rain. It's my habit to look at things in a very positive manner if situations are not in my favour still I usually don't criticise instead I somehow see the good part that happened because of it. As it is said, "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times when one only remembers to turn on the light." This quote is a powerful reminder that there is always good, even when everything seems bleak.
Talking about how I started blogging, back in 2020 I posted my first blog on Blogspot but then somehow I left it. Now it's 2023 I am hoping to continue it further as It's a very good exercise for pouring out emotions exactly to the limits of how the world needs to know you. Here's the link in case you wish to check out how little me excitedly gave blogging a try.

Some notable hindi novelist in present time
As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, there were several notable Hindi novelists who were actively writing contemporary fiction. However, I do not have information on authors who have gained prominence or started writing after that date. Some Hindi novelists who were well-known up to 2021 include:
1. Chetan Bhagat: Known for bestsellers like "Five Point Someone" and "2 States."
2. Amish Tripathi: Famous for the "Shiva Trilogy" and "Ram Chandra Series."
3. Durjoy Datta: Known for novels like "Of Course, I Love You" and "The Boy Who Loved."
4. Ravinder Singh: Author of "I Too Had a Love Story" and "Your Dreams Are Mine Now."
5. Preeti Shenoy: Known for books like "Life Is What You Make It" and "The Secret Wish List."
Please note that the popularity and activity of authors can change over time, so I recommend checking the latest literary news and bestseller lists for updates on contemporary Hindi novelists.
