I made some Fansnax ideas for @fluffyglass ‘s game that never got off the ground. I might as well post them here.

Might make more later since I have more ideas. If I feel like it.

Hey there Bugsnax community, I went ahead and got my hands on the physical copy of the game and scanned in all the pages of the manual/Field Guide! This was honestly such a joy to get my hands on and read through the pages! As a physical collector, this gives me so much joy, because a game manual feels like an extension to the game than just being a “how to play” booklet.

This manual has got one of the best first pages in any manual I’ve ever seen cause they literally have a section to put your Grumpsona Name. We did it ya’ll, we made Grumpsona an official term lol.

We also have a closer and cleaner look at the Grumpedia section of the field guide with that sweet, sweet lore. I love how even outside of that section, bits and pieces were written in the style of Clumby, so that’s fun extra little detail. We even get a little bit of extra Lizbert lore in the opening pages too, so Lizbert Enjoyers, go to town.

I love the little checklist the manual includes too, and even extra notes sections. Even though the game keeps track of all that for you, it’s still a nice little edition, crossing off your own personal checklist physically. Heck, maybe you write your own Hot Bugsnax Tips & Tricks or your own personal guide for certain quest.
