My hope is to build up a decent enough savings to find a way to escape my parents, along with a small amount every paycheck I get every week. My dad's name is on the lease because I don't make enough to cover the rent and so they use that as a way to control me, and have threatened to take that away from me. For example, I cannot shop at certain places, medically transition, or buy any more supplies for my fish that I have. They have both gaslit and emotionally abused me over the years as well. I am also looking to get a better paying job, but as you can imagine, the job market isn't great and nothing I have has stuck.

My mental health has plummeted because of this. I just cannot take feeling like this anymore, like there's nothing I can do to change it.
