1. What’s something new that you tried in a fic this year? How did it turn out and would you do it again?

i tried a lot of new things with You’ll be alright! for one, it’s the first thing i’ve ever written that is distinctly an au, as everything before it was pretty much canon compliant. Finding out how to put these characters in completely different circumstances but still making sure that they feel like their characters as well as combiothe worlds of pjo and panem was so much fun! also first time writing bianca. she was so fun.

I think i’d like to do all these things again! it’s fun (and a nightmare) figuring it all out, but that is the part of the process i like the most <3. id also like to write bianca again but i don’t have plans to at the moment

12. what fic was most difficult to write? did you finish it?

also from my hunger games au , with this heart of mine that’s guilty, not remorseful (hunger games au causes me so much agony. how ever it causes me more agony not to write) this one was hard bc i wrote it @buoyantsaturn ‘s no love style so i was writing a scene ten years later than you’ll be alright and also trying to not completely give away what happened during those ten years<3 but i think it turned out well!!

Okay I was playing roblox earlier and was thinking of asking about Red or all the rainbow friends in the game Arctic Expedition, but then I saw pocket meeb and red and now I also am thinking about Red being a father to Meeb

so technically Red did make Meeb and Deeb come to life on accident he did when he was doing an experiment to make a new rainbow friend.

and you know how it is. When a newborn sees the first person they see, it becomes their mama. But this doesn't really work with the other rainbow friends since they were created with an adult type of mindset. So they don't see Red as their mama/papa/sibling, they see Red as a friend or something else (also they're all not related in my AU btw if ur asking)

7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because of how the fandom acts around them?

Hi Im sorry this took me so long to answer, I wanted to sleep on it lol because I didnt want to forget all the characters Ive hated 😔

So the funny thing is that nine times out of ten, the way the fanon treats a character will make me like them more. Pepper Potts from the MCU is a good example of this because her canon portrayal gives off these weird girlboss vibes and I really dont like her relationship with Tony, but in a lot of fanfic featuring Pepper, her girlboss aura gets toned down more into the way less annoying boss aura, and her relationship with Tony tends to feel more natural to me. Then there's characters like Lisa Braeden from Supernatural who get used as a cake-faced villain to destiel which is just super unfair and reeks of "not like other girls" yknow.

Mary Winchester from Supernatural is a hard character for me to hate. I don't like her on the show, I don't like that they brought her back, I don't like what they did with her. She was Sam and Dean's mom but she never acts like she cares about them (like there's this whole arc where she ghosts them for weeks on end). And it bothers me when people say Mary was this like really good mom because I don't think we ever got to actually see her act as a mom outside of her own weird brain hallucinations.

But then someone starts complaining about Mary in a way that feels a little too weird and I gotta sigh deeply and put on my "defend mary winchester" hat so I can't really hate her too much.

And then there's Meg Masters from Supernatural, who is probably the best answer I can give to this question. Because the thing is, I really don't like her in canon. I thought her old romance thing with Cas was freaking weird and I never liked how the writers seemed to forget all the stuff she did to Sam and Dean in like Seasons 1/2/whenever she first appeared. Like I always forget Meg is a Season 1 character bc she's just so inexlicably different in that season versus when all the Cas romance stuff happens. Anyway, people will sometimes treat Meg in fanon like she was the only person looking out for Castiel's best interests which like. Isnt true. Like Im really not convinced that thats true. Like obviously Dean has done Cas dirty plenty of times, but when Meg was sent to watch over Cas in the hospital when his brain wasn't right, do you really think that was purely for Cas's sake and she didnt at all see it as an opportunity to manipulate him/get close to him? Anyway yeah I dislike Meg even more in those potrayals than I dislike canon Meg

I've just installed your utilities mod and it would be wonderful... if I wasn't getting water and power outages constantly, multiple times a day--and they end after mere seconds. Its so often its almost as though my lights are flickering. The mod (or the outages) also seems to interfere with autolights which then results in more power consumption... i don't know if i'm the only one having this issue but i love the functionality otherwise!! Your mods add amazing realism!

I updated the Utilities Mod today to fix the frequent outages issue, along with a few other bugs I was made aware of. They should now only have a chance of occurring once a day.

While lights will turn off when a lot loses power it's just a visual element; my mod doesn't count lights as power consuming.

bro is so tight with the apollo kids. they get mad if they are ever separated during activities. ESP capture the flag. youngest apollo kid is OBSESSED with nico and tries to dress emo/goth like he does. it’s very cute

OH and nico cant read very well. it gets him into shenanigans

heart crushing awful but fun to inflict on friends :):

i think he goes back to bad habits after jason dies. like he starts isolating himself, stops speaking when he wants to, flinches away from touch, starts lashing out at others, like all the healing he did is undone

he also has a bad reaction when he finds out reyna, a sister figure, joined the hunters :)

unrealistic but fuck canon:

it’s hard to say bc none of it is unrealistic to MY version of nico BUT i think that he would leave the demigod world for will. like he holds on for a while where as wills says nope as soon as possible, but i think he would settle for a somewhat normal life eventually. which is not realistic to canon bc it’s heavily implied that nico will keep doing tasks for hades forever and may even become a minor god??? yeah

If Apollo’s political salary hadn’t been paying for medical school, Will never would’ve done half of the things his father asked of him. He knew that most of his own public appearances in support of the campaign were only because his father was too busy burying another scandal to give his own speech or cut a ribbon, or whatever else he’d asked Will to do in his place. 

At least most of these galas and charity functions had open bars, and usually didn’t interfere too heavily with Will’s class schedule. It was always best when he could drink to his heart’s content and not have to worry about the consequences the next morning. 

And on the off chance that he could catch someone sneaking glances at him from the other end of the bar, well. Things usually only looked up from there.
