The cutie mark crusaders! The sillys! Haven't decided how I wanted to do their cutie marks yet in the au so this is their pre-alicorn twilight designs! Doodles under the cut

Czech Miku at her worst, she is beauty, she is grace, she has spent 3 days on majáles consuming nothing but lukewarm pilsner and langoš and now she has fallen straight on her face.

Breakdown of her design below the cut!

Her hair is badly dyed with schwarzkopf live electric blue dye because thats usualy the only blue you can get here in regular stores without ordering online or looking into specialized stores and usualy winds up being the first unusual dye color people try.

Her shirt being RUR is a refrence to a play by Karel Čapek which coined the term "robot", felt fitting for her as a vocaloid.

Cargo shorts, plaid shirt, fanny pack and socks with sandals are just a must like thats tradition at this point.

Her bag is the rainbow pride bag from flying tiger. Many queer people here just own this bag because its easy to get and looks fun.

Can of caffeine pomelo birel - caffeinated non alcoholic pomelo flavored beer, i'd draw her with a regular pilsner because yeah but i felt like this better showed the deranged shit czech people do with beer for the fun of it

Smažák - deep fried block of cheese with fried and tartar sauce my beloved. Ofc it has to be on a greasy paper plate.

I also put a Pilsen tram card on her belt loop :)

Her hair is meant to be shaped to resemble a lion mane and 2 lion tails as a refrence to the czech lion ☆

(Right arm) Alzák - an alien mascot for a tech seller company alza, known to have am extremely annoying nasaly voice which quickly made him a huge meme. People usualy wanna murder him.

(Left arm) Robot Zajac - a side character from a russian cartoon called Nu pogodi zajac that many people in czechia (including me) grew up with. He's fucked up and i love him.

(Left leg) Linden tree leaf - linden is the national tree

(Right leg) Vodník by Jozef Lada - a czech folk creature guy

my sexuality/gender headcanons for em are as follows: twi is questioning but knows she likes girls and guys, pinkie is pan, rd is a lesbian and sometimes uses he/him pronouns, applejack and rarity are both lesbians, and fluttershy is transfem and aroace!

fluttershy's bracelet was made by pinkie; the colors have faded over the years but it used to be bright pink, blue and white (it was a coming out gift)

rarity's glasses are held up by Weird Horse Magic. shhhhhhhh

even though applejack is the tallest in terms of posing, fluttershy's actually the tallest. rd and pinkie are tied for shortest

rd chopped most of her tail off because she figured it'd make her faster. that's her natural mane color, she frequently dyes her hair in various version of the 5 color rainbow

i gave twilight little ballet flats because i though it completed the "cozy nerd" vibe i was going for; her colors are a lot warmer to match the twilight time of day

pinkie is absolutely a raver. cmon she's the party horse

granny smith made applejack's shawl and she wears her mom's hat with her dad's bolo tie on the drawstring (or whatever the adjustable thing on a cowboy hat is called lol)

rarity and applejack are a couple. they are the lesbian aunts who buy you way too many christmas presents

twi and pinkie have a kind of will-they-won't-they thing going on, pinkie is largely oblivious to this and twilight is not subtle about her crush

rd and fluttershy still have known each other since they were kids, rainbow was the first person fluttershy ever came out to before she transitioned

it might've taken me over 3 months, but i've finally finished my own designs for the mane 6

my main thought process for designing them was to use a color from the rainbow! i had to look up colors and their meanings to determine which color should go to which pony

rainbow dash is red because she's the most fierce and bold. sidenote: her mane and tail color is actually white but she finds that boring so she dyes it, not her tail because i didnt like how it looked there

fluttershy is green because of nature and animals, pretty basic i know lol. also her pelt pattern is supposed to look like a deer's

applejack is blue only because i felt orange would fit rarity better, and yellow and purple were going to the other two remaining girls, so apple got stuck with blue but i tried my best to make it work for her. i think blue also means like maturity or smth similar so it works out anyways

pinkie pie is yellow because she's like the embodiment of happiness and joy so it made sense (also i had to use the pink color cuz there is no yellow color for the font)

twilight is staying purple mainly because of her previous life surrounded by royalty and the such, and also because purple is a main color in a twilight sky - orange is secondary so thats why she now has orange too

and finally, rarity is orange because of her creativeness, especially when it comes to fashion design; i think her design is my personal favorite.

i also tried to come up with creative cutie mark designs and i think i passed. though, the only one that isnt super obvious what its trying to represent is probably twilight's. basically i was going for a six pointed star (each point representing each girl) then it comes together in the middle by the white part to symbolize they all need each other or smth like that

i might get around to celestia and luna because i feel like they'll be fun to redesign, and maybe even spike or the cmc

For a school project Tim and his class have to research do a report on 70s-80s media as a project on seeing how censorship and television in general has changed over the years. Tim looks through a Wikipedia entry of shows from those eras and finds one called "Tales from the toy chest" that ran from 1975 to 1983 that there is no information about besides the studio it was produced at was operated by one man and that he disappeared when the building mysteriously burned down

Danny was on a mission from Clockwork when he got stuck in the past. Bored out of his mind he decides in a spur of the moment thing to create a show. He buys a small building, converts it into a studio, and gets to work using duplicates as his production crew and his ghost powers to change his voice in order to voice the characters. He then managed to broadcast the show on a channel that was usually just static.

The characters in the show were a purple elephant, a white lion with a rainbow mane, an orange bear, a ty-dye pig, a night sky themed owl, a white and blue dog, and a green and white rabbit. All based on his own childhood stuffed animals.

Within a month Danny was able to go home but left another duplicate in charge of the show. The duplicates popped out of existence when an arsonist burned the studio which happened to have been in Gotham. The name of the studio was

Nightingale productions

Tim goes down a rabbit hole trying to find any evidence the show existed when he sees Danny while he's on a trip to Gotham with his class. Danny's only disguise while he ran the studio was a fake mustache and fake glasses

Thrift Twinkle

I haven't drawn ponies in a long time, but started getting nostalgic after revisiting some of the later FiM seasons. I've had a few DRA pony ideas and sketches around, and after finishing this one for Teruya, I do kinda wanna continue with the rest...

Anyway, this is Thrift Twinkle, an earth pony with a penchant for trends and a talent for making and selling. He has a passion for experimenting with new styles, even if they don't all end up gaining popularity. Thrift can often be spotted wearing colorful coat and mane dyes, flashy hats, or even rainbow horseshoes.

Not all of his friends are completely onboard with his wild ideas, but most of them are still happy to spend time sketching, creating, and sewing with him. He's an excellent gift giver and is incredibly loyal to the ones he cares about most, like his friends and his father, Phoenix Hotcakes, who pretty much taught him everything he knows.

I kinda doubt too many folks are interested in seeing more DRA ponies, but this one was pretty fun so I might post more of them.

i dont think i ever shared my mlp redesigns. they're just little doodles i didn't really clean them up but i think they're cute ^_^ only the first three for now, i'll share the next three later on

some facts about my redesign/au versions of the ponies under the cut

Magic isn't race-exclusive. It's based on the individual's aptitude rather than whether they're a unicorn or not. There are some constants such as like. levitating small objects (they're horses. their asses cannot grab anything) but usually you have a 'specialization' or two. this is what replaces cutie marks simply because i don't feel like designing cutie marks.

Regardless, there are some general stereotypes. For example, most pegasi have enough magic energy to fly, but some have less than others. Fluttershy, for example, most of her magic is creature-focused, so she doesn't have a lot of energy left over for flight. She's not very good at it. Rainbow, on the other hand, specializes in flight.

Twilight is a unique case because she doesn't have a specialization. She can use all kinds of magic but her powers are a bit unstable due to this. She trained under Celestia and was kind of 'planned' to become an alicorn from the start? This feeds into her insecurity of having to prove herself because she has to be ready to accept her duties! Essentially, she's semi-noble but not that well-known due to holing herself up in her room and getting absorbed in research.

Rarity specializes in. idk how it's called but she can put little good-luck charms on the things she makes. I imagine she's not entirely open about this because she likes seeing other ponies' pleasant surprise when good things happen to them. She's caught up in her appearance and dyes her mane purple (it's actually a light green similar to her eyes and hooves).

Rainbow dash is awesome asf!!! she's the youngest in the group and can be kind of immature at times. Her insistence on being 'cool' and 'the best' is part of her loyal nature. She's worried that she loves her friends more than they love her, so she tries to act as awesome as possible so they'd never want her to leave. She specializes in flight/cloud magic.

🦋 Even though she is a pony, an herbivorous mammal, she understands the full importance of meat for carnivores- and the cycle in which needs to pass for every animal to properly survive. She doesn't mind cutting up and handling meat to feed to recovering carnivorous animals, even though most ponies hate even the thought of eating or handling meat.

🦋 Fluttershy is still having trouble learning how to fly well, she's a weak flyer.

🦋 After the events of "Twilight's Kingdom" the mane 6 got those colorful strokes on their hair, Pinkie and AJ dye their hair back to their natural colors

🦋 When Fluttershy was young she would always stay close to her parents. She was definitely 100% spoiled however after her younger brother was born she became very distant from her family and would tend to isolate herself and wouldn’t open up much when she had problems.

This is ENTIRELY based on how I've always seen the characters, this isn't to whitewash how other people see them, its just my interpretation :]

I really love the way these fellas turned out!! Fluttershy was based on a design I saw from Milkkirie on Instagram:]

I was trying to come up with a realistic thing for these guys, so their hair is really desaturated because they just dye it sometimes. Rarity's hair is supposed to be black dyed slightly purple, rainbow dash was a dirty blonde before she colored her hair, and pinkie just made it pink because it sounded fun. And Fluttershy's hair is just naturally that color.

Easy to wash out when on duty, like double life, Using the rainbows to color her hair. She doesn't like her job, it is mentally draining, but she believes it's what has to be done.

Red: Once inside, the Montane compound was just as depressing as she remembered. The impression of a fancy hotel was impossible to shake. Red carpets and dark wood paneling, endless doors and uninspired chandeliers - all extended in a web of hallways like some plush labyrinth.

Orange: The Seer grinned for a long, silent minute as the supplicant remained kneeling. As he did, Elsind examined his face. It was beautiful, but then again, all faces were beautiful to the changeling. A braided beard reached his mid-chest, hair the color of tilled soil. His eyes were orange and wild and surprisingly youthful. Elsind would've guessed he was somewhere in his first century, though he wasn't sure how elven aging compared to dwarven.

Yellow: The caravan master narrowed his big yellow eyes. This close, Elsind could see the intricate pattern of his scales, the scraggly down in place of the vibrant feathers lizardfolk women carried, and an old scar running up his snout. It was a good face. It felt... swashbuckling, like it belonged to a pirate with a lover's heart.

Green: "It's... complicated." Astra chewed her lip as she tried to think of a way to explain. "Think a' sorcerous magic like water. Every sorcerer has their own cup a' water that they dye by holdin'. If ya pour dye water into a trough, it'll stay distinct for a while - a little swirl a' blue there, a splash a' green here. But eventually, it's all gonna mix together into a muddy brown."

Blue: In the darkness, she couldn't make out the towering trunk of a neck or matted mane of white hair she knew were present. She couldn't see the slick blue skin or the mask of a woman's face it wore, with its old smile lines and painted lips. All she could feel was the hot breath of the gaping maw that split its sternum. Her ears were flooded with the sound of gnashing teeth and pained growls.

Indigo: Instead of words, however, all he heard in response was the hiss of wind, dull as it was filtered through the trappings of architecture. Only a low whistle accompanied it as it escaped out through a window into the indigo night - bound for the horizon, Mashal supposed. Bound for the home of the gods.

Purple: The skin of the changeling's headfins, which they'd fanned out in an effort to keep themself cool, had burnt an unflattering purple, matched by an angry red across Avymere's face and hands. Their arm ached under the tightly wound bandages, as well as their feet from all the walking. With every second step, their body shuddered with the need for food that wasn't hardtack or more water than a cautious swallow.

Thank you, Elsind, for gazing soulfully into so many people's eyes. Really gave me a lot of colors to work with. Also, Kaylin, I thought you should know that my mention of the color blue decreased from 60 to 14 words from book 1 to 3. Just a, uh, fun little fact there.

forgot to show him off, but i finished gumball!!!! she's a 1999 tie dye furby with mostly purple coloring and outer ears/feet :o)

the things i'm most proud of on this furby are how i replaced the mane and inner ears with rainbow faux-fur (that doesn't show up very well in pictures unfortunately) and also the candy swirl designs on the eyes :o)

the white parts of the faceplate and feet are glow in the dark paint!
