I’m soo happy I got her. For the past couple of months she was sold out everywhere and people(scalpers) selling for more than the retail price($200+) but now, I’m happy that I got her(she’s for $25 on Target)

Well, after seven months Fantastic Fashion Poppy is finally free from her box. Look at this absolute queen (monarch, even). I just adore her. I'm so glad I had the patience to wait for her to restock after the holidays. In terms of gown construction I think Skyler slightly edges her out for best FF doll (I know people hate on Skyler but the tailoring on that dress is immaculate); but this Poppy is just magical. Even if she never gets another doll--it seems likely she won't--at least she got to go out on the highest of high notes.

I would dearly love to fill out the rest of the Fantastic Fashion set, but it's not super high on my list of collecting priorities at the moment, mainly because I have no idea where I would display them (as you can see the loft over Skyler's studio is fully occupied XD). Aside from that there's just the expense involved. I know most of FF has been heavily clearanced lately, but due to my disability I can no longer jaunt off to Target whenever I feel like it to check the markdown section, and online prices never seem to be as low as they are in the stores. But honestly? I'm not that stressed about it. If it's meant to happen it will, if not I'll continue to enjoy the ones I already have ;p

I got fantastic fashion’s poppy today she’s so pretty 

she does have a minor flaw that there’s a scratch in the paint on her lips but I’m not super upset about it. I’ll just paint it. It’s not a big deal to me. still not a big fan of her second dress and I don’t like the super long nails so I might trim them or trade the hands out for a different poppies hands will see

but God she’s beautiful.

Edit  upon further inspection I have realized there’s a blank spot in her blush and a brown smudge on her nose in addition to the scratch on her lips I think I might need to exchange her

this is the first time I’ve gotten a doll that I haven’t been completely happy with but considering the is the 7th doll I’ve bought it was about time 🤷🏻‍♀️ good news i bought her from Amazon and they got a good return/exchange policy

i love their little lookbooks but those tiny pencils 🙄 i put them away and probably will never actually play with them bc they are too freakin loseable

i truly am so grateful for my partner. she is so supportive, even of my doll habit. it’s because of her that i was even able to start collecting and it truly does make me so happy. i hope everyone gets to find someone as special as her in their life.

This outfit is so detailed and so interesting but I really do not like it. There’s just too much going on. I think I’m going to display her in the Jett Dawson dress instead (and WB Ruby, who is currently wearing that, will get the casual FF outfit).

Perfect middle ground as far as Skyler hair goes. Just the right amount of curl. The dress was never my fave but the detail is amazing.

I still need to fix Poppy’s hair, but I am OBSESSED with her makeup. It is so cool. And they finally landed on the perfect lip color for her. I also LOVE her dress but I’ve known that since the episode where we first saw it.

I can’t get her shoes off, though! Ruby and Skyler both have more flexible shoes than most RH dolls but Poppy’s are not budging and I don’t want to break the butterflies off.

poppy bringing the side bang back ✨

tbh tho i just couldn’t figure out how to split the bang and in the process of trying to figure it out i tangled her bangs into her longer hair so i just clumped them all together into a side bang. does anyone know like a secret trick to keeping the bangs separate from the rest of the hair? that’s sort if the reason why i de-banged sunny, luna and demi.

anyways i am so in love with this doll 😍 her hair is so pretty and softtt after her wash. and the hot/neon pink really pops on her as well.
