Had to get a bit creative with the border as the original pattern method made the edges curl. All in all super happy with how it turned out.

My stitches are generally on the tight side, so it is a bit smaller than I would have liked. Lesson learned for next time.

Decided on small solid squares for the rainbow blanket, mostly because I did 9 rounds of a big one and got horribly bored. Small squares work up faster. (The multi-color ones held my interest because I was switching colors every two rows.)

Stashbuster the pirate flag blanket is still going strong! And is using smaller yarn scraps up really well too.

So warm, and perfect to cuddle up under while working on it.

I had a nice pastel jelly roll and found this cute pattern at MSQC. I picked out the light teal for the pinwheel accent and a soft beige for the border and binding and did some simple straight line quilting on my domestic.

I should do this again. It was fun and fast and looks great.
