#rain world game bug

Rain World Community,

I have to remind everyone that this is still an issue in the game, even when entirely modless (spare for the slugcat expansion of course).

Tl/dr issue in question: Tamed pups do not follow the player, do not listen to commands and do not defend the player, unless the player hands the pups an item at the start of each new cycle.

I have heard many others complain of this issue, but it also seems to be widely ignored by the larger playerbase (unless there is something I am missing).

If any mod maker out there can hear me, I will be eternally grateful if someone could make pups properly tameable again.

You aren't allowed to kill me for Pokemon Shield being my favorite mainline Pokemon game or not playing any other whatever the plural of series is

Also I'm pretty much just putting Undermine on "you love everyone hates" because it only has very positive reviews on Steam and a lot of games I play have overwhelmingly positive and I really like Undermine

Also Celeste gets that place 25% because Wandersong already got one and 50% because of the B-side Reflection (which I mixed up with the Mirror Temple music when I first posted this) sobs)
