It feels like forever since I've taken pics at the ballgame. Best part of tonight? $2 hot dogs, babyyyyyy.

It was a double-header, so I left work and headed straight to the stadium and made it in time for game 1.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders were playing the Worcester Red Sox. I shot a few innings and then got a hot dog to go. Railriders won the first game, and the Sox got the 2nd.

Lucky for me, kinda-ish, I'm a Sox and Yanks fan.

one of my favorite pieces of subway art is the railrider's throne, a sculpture made of metal in the form of an oversized, geometric chair.

It was created by Michelle Greene.

"When we go into a gallery or a museum, we're taught not to touch anything," Greene says. "When I have my work in a public space, I want people to interact with it." The throne was only supposed to stay in the subway for a year, but the community responded so positively that it now lives there indefinitely. "A lot of people look forward to sitting on it every day after work -- it's a highlight of their daily routine," explains Greene. "I can't imagine anything more satisfying for an artist than to see that."

When MLB players return from injury during the season, they'll often play a few games in the minor leagues to ease themselves back. For baseball fans who live far from any major-league stadium, these games are convenient ways to watch superstars in action, and they tend to draw huge crowds.

Anyway, I'm watching my Rochester Red Wings take on reigning American League Cy Young Award winner Gerrit Cole of the New York Yankees Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders tomorrow night. They are doomed.
