        SHE HESITATED TO answer. Trust was a delicate subject. The years upon years of people looking down upon her like she was a monster had broken the pieces within herself. She was slowly building them upon but every time she thought she was fine, someone else had to prove her differently. “You wanted to give your strength to me. You wanted to help me when everyone else would have turned their back on me. Those are examples that there’s a beginning of trust between us two.”

        She did want to give Raiden Mei more of a chance. In the back of her mind there were so many people around the world and not everyone was so bad as she had thought they would be. Lacie only trusted a few people in her life. She didn’t need that much. She offered herself the protection she needed the most---it wasn’t always equally fair to those that expressed their kindness towards her. “I ask for much. I’m selfish and I don’t always return what has been given to me and I’m wondering if you’re still willing to trust me after you’ve seen the real me.” The more Raiden Mei would involve herself into Lacie’s life, the more challenging it would to stay away from her real-self. “We’ll see what the future holds for us~”

For a little challenge on Polycount's forums, Animtober.

But due to real life work and lack of time to polish it, it's only coming... huh in November. :) Nah, I ain't late... ok just a bit. A tiny bit.

I used the Earthshaker Maya rig kindly given out by Andy Helenek. Except I modified it a bit so it now has real eyes (like the previous Bristleback animation) and shoulder controllers.

Everything here is Maya and AE, no SFM involved at all. ;)

        DEATH WAS COMING so close to her. In about a year she would be no longer walking on this earth. She would not stand up from her bed and see the sun rising and feel the warmth on her cheeks. There were so many things she couldn’t do anymore. She had already accepted it as defeat but it didn’t make the burden easier for her. It was a huge heavy burden to carry on her shoulders and she had learned to do it alone. Her brother would lessen the pain over the time but it wasn’t enough for her knowing he’d be the one to cast her out.

        “Do I deserve kindness?” Lacie didn’t know why she’d ask a stranger but it was refreshing to have the opinion of an outsider; someone didn’t know about her hardships. It was pointless to ask for help. Nobody would help her out. She was feeling like she was sitting in a circle with so many borders around her and there was no opening for her to escape it. “We’re all doomed to die one day, but what about those that didn’t have a choice? What’s fair for them?”
