ㅤㅤㅤElysia looked away sadly from the man she called her friend, her ears drooping a little to coincide with the sadness visible upon her face.ㅤ❝ ...I know it's not, Kevin. It's far from over, this long war. ❞ㅤSo much has happened, but even so, this battle against the Honkai still isn't anywhere near its conclusion. It's tiring, it's saddening, it's frustrating- but despite this, Elysia soon lifts her head, and looks back to Kevin with a much more hopeful look.

ㅤㅤㅤ❝ But I have faith it'll be over one day. Someday, we'll win this fight. I believe we will. Humanity will prevail against the Honkai. It may take a long time, and it may take a lot of effort, but I believe in humanity's resolve. With all of my heart, with all of my being, I believe in humanity. ❞ㅤThis is what Elysia always has believed, so wholeheartedly. That humanity is strong, that they can succeed against any obstacle that comes their way. Her greatest wish was for humanity to succeed, and her most steadfast belief was in humanity's capabilities.

ㅤㅤㅤShe loved humanity and the world so dearly. And she believed that they would one day finally grasp victory against the Honkai which threatened to snuff out their ever-burning flame. One day, there will be an end to this. Even if the chance was small...clinging to that hope gives way to allow for miracles in her mind. If you believe enough...if you have enough faith...you can perform even things some deem 'impossible'.

ㅤㅤㅤThis is the beautiful ego that which Elysia believes in. The beautiful, everlasting faith in humanity she has always possessed since time immemorial. Her never-ending, all-encompassing, unconditional love for humanity. A love that is so great as to where she would give her everything for its sake.

Modern AU Elysia? I haven't thought about it too much since Honkai is already rather modern, but I can give a few ideas; for instance, I imagine that the Flame-Chasers in a modern AU in fact are a little club Elysia created, dragging everyone she knows into it cause she thought it would be a good idea. Chaos ensues.

Ellie's an orphan who never got to be adopted, living in a nice little house, and probably has a job as a waitress at a maid cafe (specifically one that's more geared towards a female audience because...Ellie is a disaster lesbian).

Ellie has a hobby of writing stories, but she keeps those stories to herself cause it's a little embarrassing since some of them are pretty much Elysia turning her fantasies into (maybe a bit cliche) lesbian romance novels.

If you'd like me to come up with some more, feel free to send me some specific questions nonnie! I'm always open to ramble about this disaster lesbian pink elf any day!

Pardofelis is bounding up to Elysia at lightning speeds, her feet practically screeching against the ground as she slides to a halt, just short of tackling the elf to the ground- Flailing her arms a bit to keep her balance, her tail bobbing back and forth behind her, before she finally comes to a complete stop. But she has a wide grin spread across her face the entire time. "Whew, sis Ellie... Could you come with me for a bit? Sis Vill-V wanted your help with something, and sent me out to go get you." A simple deception, though not entirely untrue- Vill-V didn't need help with anything, but she would be waiting at the place they were going to, if Elysia would agree to come along.

          Elysia’s eyes widen as she hears the voice of the 13th Flame-Chaser, and was surprised to find Pardofelis running to her at nigh inhuman speeds. She was prepared to possibly have to help her up, only for Pardofelis to barely manage to regain her balance, prompting Elysia to laugh a little. ❝ Oh my, Pardo! Be careful! If you run that fast you might fall, and I don’t want you to possibly get hurt! ❞ She said, scolding Pardofelis a little, but it wasn’t that stern, especially since Elysia was laughing a bit. Pardofelis was so silly, it was adorable! The pink elf’s head soon then tilts in curiosity upon the request from Pardofelis. ❝ Hm? Vill-V needs help with something? Of course I’ll come help~! ❞ She says that practically instantaneous, always ready to help her beloved friends as always.

          A bright smile from the pink elf is seen as she makes a small amused giggle at her dear sister’s actions. She doesn’t say anything, simply leans into it and closes her eyes, a small hum leaving her lips as well. She doesn’t mind resting like this for a little while. She loves every little moment she is able to spend with the one who is considered the sister she’s never had in her whole existence in the world.

          Elysia freezes hearing the sound of the voice of 11th Flame-Chaser, biting her lip as she looked at the young girl with a look of both sadness and apologeticness. She takes a deep breath as she forces herself to make a tiny smile. Even now, she doesn’t want to serve as a source of sorrow for the Flame-Chasers. She’s brought them all enough pain. She kneels down a bit to Griseo’s height as she continues to force herself to smile, even if she knew by this point Griseo had seen her not smiling minutes prior. ❝ G-Griseo...i-it’s nothing, really. Thank you for the hot chocolate. I-I just...I-I’ll be ok. ❞

          Well this man was a new face around the Elysian Realm, Elysia thought as she had approached him, being her usual energetic, bubbly self as she introduced herself and the realm itself to him, though soon the comment Dante made left his mouth, and whilst any other person would guess it’s not exactly meant to be a compliment, Elysia was the type to of course interpret it that way. ❝ Oh? Why thank you! I try my best to make everyone feel welcome here in the Elysian Realm, after all, every visitor who comes here is a potential new friend to be made! ❞

          The pink elf’s eyes widen at the statement, and she could already feel her eyes starting to water out of sheer joy of the fact declared by the one considered to be her sister. ❝ M-Mei... ❞ A smile soon appears on Elysia’s face as she tries to hold back tears, soon practically jumping towards her dear sister and enveloping her in a big hug, partially to try and hide that she was about to cry, but also simply out of the pure happiness she felt right now. ❝ ...Th-thank you...thank you...so...so much, Mei... ❞ She holds onto her sister tightly, and it’s clear she has no intention of letting go for a while.

          The pink elf’s eyes widen at the sight, blinking a few times as she processed the scene before her expression shifts to concerned. ❝ Are you alright, Nano? You have a lot of blood around your mouth and you look kind of angry...oh! I’ll go get you a towel or something to wipe the blood off, if you’d like? ❞ She just wants to help.

          ❝ Huh-? ❞ Oh no. This is what she’s been fearing ever since she started being more dodgy with Mei. Mei lately has been nearing closer to uncovering deeper secrets about the Elysian Realm and the Thirteetn Flame-Chasers...and knowing this, Elysia knew it was inevitable Mei might discover the deepest secret that hides within this realm and in the Flame-Chasers.

          Elysia’s identity as a Herrscher.

          Elysia didn’t want to be near when the secret would inevitably come out, one way or another...and she wanted to try and hide it for longer, too. She hated hiding it, but she was terrified of what would come when the truth got out. Elysia, being scared...it’s really unbefitting her. Elysia hiding things was even more unbefitting. Yet she couldn’t stop herself from being scared, and she couldn’t stop that fear leading to her hiding this fact. 

          But now she’s backed into a corner by one of the most important people in her life. ❝ I-I, no, Mei, you haven’t done anything wrong, I- ❞ God dammit, she hated this, hated lying, hated hiding things, but she was so scared of what would happen when Mei realized what she really was...this was the first time Elysia felt this terrified. Or well, the first time in a very, very long time she’s felt this terrified. The last time...was worse than this. 

          But this overwhelming, suffocating fearfulness, even if lesser than what she experienced many years ago, was still awful- she felt like she was drowning, and in a way, she was. ❝ I-I’m sorry If I’ve come off as dodgy, I-I just... ❞ She can’t think of any good excuses or something to say, and she didn’t want to flat out lie to Mei. Anything other than a full on whole lie.

          In the end, for the very first time in her life, Elysia ran away.
