I just want to say...in any thread where Elysia learns that Kevin is enacting Project Stigma...she feels...betrayed. For you see, Project Stigma is from what I know at this point after looking at some Reddit posts a plan that will have humanity’s wills all merged into one greater godly being higher than the Honkai, doing this via Stigmata and changing the Earth into a Stigma Space to house this new humanity. Humanity might retain being technically separate but they will become something similar-ish to the Herrscher of Domination but worse, as they will all technically be one being.
Elysia died so that humanity could retain their individuality and be freed from the shackles of fate to have a chance to unite together and defeat the Final Herrscher. She never, EVER wanted humanity to lose what really makes them human. If they lose their individuality, then they aren’t really human anymore, and thus is why Elysia would take this as practically a betrayal by Kevin. Because he should be well aware this is NOT what she died for.
She isn’t even angry, even though she should be. No, she’s...she’s never been betrayed like this before, and it practically breaks her. She has unfaltering loyalty to her friends, so betrayal...really, really hurts her extremely deeply to a point of her just sobbing and crying because she has never experienced this before and it hurts her heart so very deeply. It’s deeper than just her being terrified for the fate of humanity.
It’s her feeling betrayed by one of her closest friends who she thought would know very well what ideals she died for and yet he is pursuing a plan that goes against everything she believes in.

A headcanon/canon divergence I remembered just now is that my Elysia did not make Mei let her touch her horns. Because that scene rubs me the wrong way quite a lot and I do not see Elysia as being the type who’d breach boundaries like that if REPEATEDLY and GENUINELY told no.
If you show clearly you genuinely do not want her to do something to you, she will back off. Is she still a bit nosy and sometimes does accidentally breach boundaries? Yes, and that’s simply one of the flaws she does have since she is simply as perfect as one can be- but that doesn’t mean she is truly perfect.
But Elysia would hate to ever make somebody genuinely uncomfortable. As much as she can be persistent she does back off if you tell her no and inform her you genuinely don’t want her to do something to you.
Elysia isn’t flawless and isn’t incapable of making mistakes and maybe sometimes breach boundaries since she herself doesn’t have many boundaries, but if informed where somebody else’s boundaries lie she will proceed to respect them as long as you make sure to let her know where they are, as she admittedly forgets sometimes about boundaries due to her being a very touchy and friendly person.
Just communicate with her and she will understand, back off, and respect the drawn boundary from there on.

It's always the most precious things that will be taken far too soon. The purest souls are stolen before you can truly appreciate them. The ones who love the most will give their whole being and soon disappear all for the sake of others, and they never realize just how much they mean to others, because their too focused on how much others mean to them, how much they want others around them to live.
Elysia is the perfect example of someone who loved so much, but she never truly realized how much she meant to other people. She had countless reasons why, but that will not change the truth that Elysia loved so outwardly, but her love never went inward, towards herself. She never truly realized, despite how much people expressed their adoration for her, just how much she left behind, the mark she left upon this world and the people who got to know her.
She hopes and prays she left a mark that would help the Current Era succeed where the Previous Era failed...but she doesn't realize the mark she left behind is far larger than she ever dreamed of.
Her all-loving nature, her immense compassion, her belief in the good of humanity, her belief that the impossible can become possible, that miracles can happen, that humanity for all it's flaws was still a beautiful species, simply Elysia herself left behind so much to the world that continues to impact it in the present day.
But she doesn't realize that.
For she is the epitome of someone who loved everyone, but she never thought of herself, and instead sacrificed her everything for humanity and the world.
It is a beautiful, yet tragic tale that Elysia wrote with her existence. One that will never be forgotten, til the end of time.

In the end, Elysia has always viewed herself as an observer. The storyteller. Never a part of the story she’s witnessing, believing herself to have no role. In the story of humanity, Elysia has no place, for she is a Herrscher, meaning if humanity knew, she would be killed on sight.
This image from the Summer Survival Rhapsody event encapsulates perfectly how Elysia views herself in regards to her place in the story of the Previous Era. A watcher. All alone in the end, only here to tell the beautiful tragedy of the Thirteen Flame-Chasers- who may as well be the Twelve Flame-Chasers with how Elysia views herself.
Elysia...doesn’t fully see how much impact she truly had, due to her being a Herrscher, having always observed humanity rather than be able to be part of it, and the fact she really always knew that...she wouldn’t be able to stay. A born Herrscher, getting to live beyond the Honkai? It’d be one thing if she were a human who became a Herrscher- but she was born one.
In her mind...she was never going to be able to witness the future of humanity. That’s also why she made Kevin the Flame-Chasers’ leader instead of herself, because if she were the leader, it’d be cruelly ironic and wouldn’t exactly be wise.
Overall, Elysia needs to realize despite what she is, she also had a huge impact- she was beloved, and she may have been a Herrscher, but she despite that fought for humanity and even died for humanity. She played a huge role in the story of humanity- she just needs to realize that fact.

I suppose it’d be good to mention now since I’m typing up a reply to Neu’s Kevin, that Elysia really hates to be in a position where she can’t make anyone happier. That helplessness utterly Destroys her. Because her main thing she does is be the beacon of hope and optimism for everyone. For a lot of characters her mere presence helps brighten their days.
When she can’t do anything to help people rise up from their sorrows, she may externally seem okay, but internally she’s panicking, she’s unsure, she’s feeling helpless, and it’s something she absolutely hates to feel like. Because if she isn’t able to be the beacon of hope for everyone, then what does she do? And if even she cannot help someone rise from despair, what then? What do you do then?
This is honestly why she sacrificed herself- the Previous Era as a whole was near extinction and everyone was deep in despair. She wanted desperately to do something, anything to help them, some sort of symbol to encourage the people. Even if it required her death, she didn’t care. Anything to help the people rise from the despair, unite together, and defeat the Honkai.
Even if she wouldn’t get to see the prosperous future of humanity she wished for like she wanted...even if she wouldn’t be able to stay with her beloved friends...even if she would have to suffer...even if she would have to die...no matter what it took, no matter what she had to do, no matter what happened to her...
She’d do it just to see humanity be able to ultimately survive, to triumph. Because she believed so deeply that it could, if only there was something to motivate them. And thus...what better way than to give them some kind of victory? Right?
Though...some could debate over if that was a good choice or not.

Modern AU Elysia? I haven't thought about it too much since Honkai is already rather modern, but I can give a few ideas; for instance, I imagine that the Flame-Chasers in a modern AU in fact are a little club Elysia created, dragging everyone she knows into it cause she thought it would be a good idea. Chaos ensues.
Ellie's an orphan who never got to be adopted, living in a nice little house, and probably has a job as a waitress at a maid cafe (specifically one that's more geared towards a female audience because...Ellie is a disaster lesbian).
Ellie has a hobby of writing stories, but she keeps those stories to herself cause it's a little embarrassing since some of them are pretty much Elysia turning her fantasies into (maybe a bit cliche) lesbian romance novels.

The way Elysia even if she got a second chance at life would throw it all away just for the sake of humanity absolutely annihilates my heart because she would sacrifice everything, sacrifice any chance at happiness she could have, if it would allow humanity to live, even if she’s in another world and thus it is no longer supposed to be her concern whether humanity will be ok in her world.

Elysia is so focused on helping others, to be a beacon of light for everyone, she focused on everything good whilst simply brushing off the negative, because everyone around her was drowning in depression too. She saw that, and determined she must be the beacon of light to give everyone hope. There will be a light at the end of the tunnel, she kept telling them that, kept trying to keep up morale, to save this era quickly falling apart because of the Honkai.
She didn’t want to see humanity that she loved so much and had witnessed the history of for so long fall. Anything other than that. This is why she tried to make the Flame-Chasers, this is why she put herself up as everyone’s emotional support and tried to keep everyone together.
She didn’t necessarily intend to become the sole thing keep the Previous Era’s ship afloat but because everyone else was about ready to give up and die, she had no other choice, but also wasn’t even fully aware how important she’d became. As a consequence, when she sacrificed herself, everything instantly fell apart. Even if she didn’t sacrifice herself, however, things wouldn’t change much because her power was about on the scale of a normal Herrscher, maybe a bit more powerful- but it in my opinion would’ve made little difference.
But due to her trying to be a beacon of light for everyone, she ignored her own struggles even though she had them, and felt like an outcast all the time due to the fact she was secretly a Herrscher. Her fears, her suffering, her own depression as she watched everyone else sink into depression- all of it she had to ignore due to her circumstances and in fact desperately tried to ignore, because what happens when SHE falls into depression? What happens then?
Everything will fall apart is what would happen- and she wasn’t wrong. she lived in an era that would kill a Herrscher on sight and one that rapidly was heading towards ultimate doom. She was the one positive light that the remnants of humanity’s warriors against the Honkai had as morale quickly fell. She’s grown to tolerate having to bury her struggles and grown to simply smile and bear it all alone.
What other choice did she really have? At least in her mind, there wasn’t any other choice. So her fears, sadness, anger, anything and everything of the sort was buried. Her SIM has inherited these things, and now must deal with all of this, whilst the real Elysia died never allowing herself to be anything but a happy ball of positivity in order to try to keep her era alive.
In short...Elysia my girl I’m so sorry you deserve so much better.

what soft romance cliche are you?
love at first sight
let's be real, only children believe in "love at first sight." but you're a hopeless romantic probably sitting around in coffee shops waiting to meet "the one." and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. infatuation at first sight is more accurate. you are the moment when two people lock eyes, and the whole world stills. nothing is there but you and them. and there is suddenly a strong sense of longing. you love love, don't deny it. flowers, chocolates, the whole nine yards. because of this you are loved by many. hopefully you know it too: you are loved.

Honestly? It’d be fun to see someone somehow manage to make Elysia ANGRY. They also do say... “Even the nicest people have their limits. Don’t try to reach that point, because the nicest people are also the scariest when they’ve had enough.” Elysia’s limit is just absurdly difficult to reach. But she does have it. She is not incapable of anger- it’s just that her anger requires incredibly specific and extreme circumstances to trigger. It’s the emotion that is so very rare that basically no one has ever seen her angry, besides perhaps Kevin and/or Eden, since their her two closest friends.
How does one trigger Elysia’s anger? It has to be during battle, you’ll basically never see her angry outside of battle. Like I said, it requires extreme circumstances to make her angry. Otherwise she won’t get mad, but instead it’ll translate into sadness (as an example, she was really sad when the idea of the Flame-Chasers was rejected by Fire Moth, instead of angry like one would expect).
There’s two main ways in battle to make her angry: decimate her closest friends and nearly/actually kill them, or get into an argument with her during the battle, in which you mock her and her friends, insult her ideals, and overall call her an utter fool for believing in humanity and the world so deeply. And with that second way you have to be BRUTAL. But even then it’s not a guarantee to make her angry- if you combine both ways however...that’s a surefire way to finally make the sweet Elysia angry.

Elysia has always existed in the Honkai universe incorporeally in some way, but her consciousness hasn’t always been fully formed and there have been lapses of it and her memory isn’t exactly perfect either when it comes to remembering anything from before humanity became a thing roughly 138,000 - 200,000 years ago (roughly 188,000 - 250,000 as of the Current Era), ever since they started to obtain intelligence and sentience beyond the normal animal. Before that, her memory is really messy, doesn’t help that she sealed her own memories away when she went down to Earth, meaning her memory in general from before she descended is a bit messy, but especially from times before humanity became a thing.
Her SIM’s memory is worse than the actual Elysia’s memory, as the SIM can presumably only handle so much data and since Elysia’s memory goes back THOUSANDS of years, and add on the 50,000 years the Elysian Realm has existed, her memory can be spotty.
Due to her consciousness having not really fully existed til at least humanity appeared, this is why I say Elysia is “technically billions” of years old in her muse info rather than having that as her chronological age...because...it’s debatable. Cause yes she’s always existed but she hasn’t really always existed as a FULL person til humanity happened at least. Before that she kind of was a incorporeal thing with a incomplete mind/consciousness that Elysia’s memories of that time are...weird. She can’t remember details and only has vague memories of that time that grow more and more vague the further back they are.
Though by technicality she is still billions of years old. But she mainly considers her age as being ever since she descended to Earth and started trying to be human. In short, Elysia’s age is complicated and she simply says early twenties (between 21 - 25, her physical age/mental age) for simplicity.

A small headcanon, which is that I believe why Aponia could not foresee Elysia’s fate is because Elysia ultimately destroyed fate herself. She defied and destroyed it, and this wasn’t something destined- it’s something Elysia would’ve done time and time again (and in every bubble universe, she always died doing so) because of her sheer love for humanity. How or why Elysia was capable of defying fate is unknown but it may simply be the fact she’s always been an anomaly. She was never supposed to go down to Earth in the first place to try and live alongside humanity, but did so out of her own volition and from that simple decision she started defying fate and refused to yield. And her ultimate choice that truly showed her anomalous, fate-defying nature was her destroying fate by her own hand.
You can’t really foresee the fate of a person who is time after time defying fate and from the very beginning was always an anomaly, now can you?
