so i have been up and running to find some good mafia romance books for sooo long coz apparently danielle lori ruined those for me, i just can't find any book close to the made series....until.. now, so thanks to @lighthousepigeons whose amazing incorrect books quotes keeps us entertained! i came across the sinners anonymous series after reading one of their jokes and instantly went to read it.

needless to say this was IT! this book was literally one of the only books i think could come close enough to the made series, i have finished all three in the series and am desperatly waiting for gabe's story.. . literally *chefs kiss*

I've never been into audio books until I actually listened to one... I get it now.

...The only reason I came to read this book is because it came up on my fyp with the caption 'When he says I miss you but...". This one caught my eye because it said Rafe Visconti googled how to grovel for pointers to win Penny back. And ya'll know how much I love a groveling man. Now, when I first started this book I noticed it was a but more than 200 pages. Which is fine but unfortunately because i'm a dunce and I was excited about reading about a groveling man, I didn't read the entire description where it said it was only part 2... OKAYYY.

If you like men that act like Elijah Mikaelson, this man is for you. Me on the other hand, I was more of a Klaus Mikaelson fan so Rafe was a bit too tame for me. Maybe his brother Gabe is more my style. The fact that he changed his favorite drink (whiskey) to vodka because he knew Penny did like it was so cute. I still can't believe he chased her with a fucking hammer.

I loved the banter in this book too. It was TOO funny. My girl really said I'd rather shit in my hands and clap....GIRLLLL. Also the whole fortune teller card reading part was a fresh idea. I liked how Rafe was bascially warned about Penny *insert cackle here*

I think this book was meant to be a teaser or something because I was waiting for the adult fun time scene only for it to never come. Call me crazy but I was disappointed. It was cute how the feelings were being slowly shown. Especially when Ms Penny was rocking a full bush and he went down on her... GOBSMACKED. I see how you do things Somme Sketcher. And the fact that Rafe killed the Irish dude because he bet Penny thinking he would win but then he lost so because he hates cheating, my man really said guess I'll just have to kill him then...GEEZ. Plus the Amax card part... If you heard a scream that was me.

... if anyone wants a good book rec... I've got a few!!

Never pass up my fave series: Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead. It's about a succubus with a somewhat decent moral compass. If you love smut, this is for you. If you love the foreshadowing in Supernatural, THIS IS FOR YOU. Read into EVERYTHING that happens!!

Then there's Mead's Dark Swan series. A fae world with smut to die for!! I haven't finished that series yet, because I lost all my books when I left the bad life behind. But I'm working on getting them all back and finishing it!!

Dirty Broken Savages by Eva Ashwood is a delicious series. If you love the dark stuff you can get from kittenofdoomage, then you'll love this. A dark romance, almost mafia like, with a reverse harem love story. IT'S SO GOOD!! I'm three down, just got one book to go!!.

Gang of Ghouls by Eva Chase is so interesting and quirky!! There's four love interests... Jet, the broody artist. Nox, the harsh leader. Kai the brains with quick wit and photographic memory. And Ruin, the affectionate bear that'll kill just as quickly as he'll smile. It's dark, biker-gang, not as smutty but just as incredible.

SINNERS ANONYMOUS by Somme Sketcher. His name is Angelo Visconti... they call him Vicious Visconti. It is hot, and slow, and dark, and delicious and I finished it in one sitting... it was so good I forgot to eat while reading it. I could gush about this one for WEEKS. I just finished it, and I'm ready to move on to book number 2, where we follow the tale of his younger brother, Rafe, and I get the feeling it's going to be just as delicious.

Yeah... the books I read have similar themes... romance, smut, and probably dark. But they're so good!!
