Household 30 - Jess and Rafe make a decision

Jess was pregnant and there were two possible fathers - Mr. Richmoneybags, who would ensure that she and her child were financially taken care of, and Rafe Davis, who wasn't well off.

The thing was, Jess really enjoyed Rafe's company. She didn't believe in marriage - her Mom's two had both ended badly, but Rafe didn't either. And it had never bothered him that she made money working with men like Mr. Richmoneybags although he could never afford her like that.

"Rafe, can we talk? There's something I would like to run by you." Jess was all smiles, despite the butterflies in her stomach. He made her feel good.

"Is everything okay?" He asked, his concern clear.

"I'm pregnant," she told him. "And I don't know who the father is. There's a good chance it's Mr. Richmoneybags'. Then he would provide for me and the child."

"Which is what you want, right?" Rafe knew that she wanted financial security. A child certainly did not help your finances. "But there's a chance the baby is mine?"

"I'll do a DNA test after the birth. It's yours or his. If it's yours, Mr. Richmoneybags will drop me so fast. I'll have to move."

"If the baby is mine, you can move in with me. This apartment isn't exactly ideal for a child, especially if my mom is still living here, but we'll figure it out."

"What about us?"

"We'll figure that out too. I got your back, and I am not going to abandon my kid."

So Jess had things figured out, whichever way things worked out. Which was a good thing, since she was very clearly pregnant.

౨ৎ - bf!rafe who's constantly giving you attitude : "baby, does this look cute?" you mumble, holding out a denim mini skirt you'd grabbed from a shelf - it's material slightly washed out. looking up from his phone, he sighed a little. "i don't know, does it?" shooting him a dirty look, you huff. "'m serious, yes or no? please?" ".. yes - it looks good, bunny. now can we go? been waiting for ya to pick out all the clothes you want for hours." with a pleased smile and a quick peck on his cheek you nod. "thirty minutes, actually."

౨ৎ - bf!rafe who's literally the dryest fucking texter ever : like, this bitch will leave you on delivered for hours. even when he does respond his words are vague. on some "ok" "gm/gn" "👍" type shit. but he makes up for it by calling you throughout the day - asking if you're okay, what you have planned, if you wanted to come over. and honestly? you can't complain, not when his voice sounds so .. !! 's better than any text he could send. or most, at least.

౨ৎ - bf!rafe who loves to take you on late night motorcycle rides : he lives for it, might be one of his favorite things to do with you. with the way your arms tighten around his torso when he drives faster - your scoldings being lost in the sound of the wind, earning a quiet chuckle from him. he knows you love it though, the thrill, the adrenaline. though he loves the rush, he also savors those moments of tranquility - when he's taking in everything. the feeling of your warmth against him, a stark contrast to the night's cold air against him. or the sounds of the ocean's waves washing up against the sand as you drive by, the saltiness of the water lingering in the air. and even though he dreads the end of the night, he can't help but melt into the kiss you give him before you sneak back into your house.

Drew has the outer banks season 3 premiere to attend, so he goes without you. He misses you a lot at the premiere, but is completely satisfied with everything when he comes back home and gets to sleep in your arms.

It is the evening of the Outer Banks season 3 premiere, and your boyfriend Drew is definitely going to be one of the main attractions of the event. He has been gone since early afternoon to prepare for the premiere and get ready, and you have been with him long enough to know that premieres can take a lot of time and he will be coming extremely late at night.

You and Drew have been reluctant to publicise your relationship. The thought of being recognised scares you, and even though Drew does have many supportive fans who will love you, the haters are always present around. You're afraid they will get to your head and make you believe made up stories about your relationship, ruining everything you have with Drew.

Today was one of the moments where you actually wished you could've gone with him. You absolutely adore the entire Outer Banks cast, and it would be nothing short of a spectacular night with them. Sometimes you do like to fantasize about you and Drew being public, you're in the most beautiful outfit and both of you are walking down the red carpet together, your hands intertwined. But you are quick to come back to reality when your mind shows you a scenario of you finding horrifying comments regarding you on a picture of you both, saying how you aren't the one for him and he's better off with someone else.

You remind yourself that the best place you can be at the moment is actually where you are right now: your couch, with a massive bowl of popcorn with you as you start watching the live stream of the premiere. You see all of the cast members walk in, looking beautiful as ever. You watch their interviews with utter love. They really are some of the best people.

Suddenly the cameras are directed towards Drew. He's wearing a dark blue suit, and you can't help but gape at how gorgeous he looks in that color. The fit of the suit is just perfect and he's getting his pictures clicked, his grace coming so effortlessly.

As Drew walks ahead on the carpet he's stopped by an interviewer. "Hello Drew, how are you feeling today?" The interviewer asks him.

"I'm good, super excited for everyone to see season 3," he says in the mic, smiling.

"What is Rafe like in the season? What will we get to see of him?"

"My lips are sealed for any information," he chuckles, "but he has done some... things." The interviewer laughs at his reply.

"Well Drew, is there anything you would like to say to your loved ones and your fans?"

"Thank you for all your constant support," he says, a big smile now on his face. "It makes me so happy to think how much everyone has been loving the show. Nothing is more fulfilling than watching your own hard work reaping you the big results."

At that moment, the interviewer ends his small talk with Drew and he walks on ahead on the carpet. The Twinkie is on the red carpet and watching Drew pose with it makes you giggle, as he goes inside it and looks out the window and gives a cheeky smile. The livestream goes on to show the interactions of the rest of the cast members with the interviewers and among themselves.

You suddenly wake up from your nap on your couch which you hadn't realised you had started taking. It takes a few seconds for you to realise what's happening; the popcorn bowl is now empty and is lying on your carpet upturned, and the live stream has ended. You check the time on your phone to see it's nearing 1.30 am at night. You had initially thought of staying up until Drew comes home, but your sleepy mind has different plans for you. Giving in, you decide to head in to your bedroom to go to sleep.

The gentle sounds of shoes being placed on the ground and the rustle of clothes wakes you up from your sleep. You open your eyes groggily and turn around in bed to see Drew's back towards you, as he is getting into comfortable clothes for the night.

"Hey bubs, you're home?" You ask gently. Drew turns around and you can visibly see the tiredness in his eyes.

"Oh, love, yeah I just came home," He walks up to you and bends down at your level. "I didn't expect you to wake up. Go back to sleep," he says, pressing a kiss to your cheek.

"No it's okay, how was it?" You ask, your eyes not fully open from the heavy sleep lying on them.

"It was really amazing. I'll tell you all about it tomorrow okay?" He gets up from the floor and disappears in the washroom. After a few minutes he comes back out, and lies in the bed next to you.

You wrap your arms around his neck and gently pull his head onto your chest. He wraps his arms around your waist, and you start to play with his hair with sleepy motions of your hands, as you both drift off to sleep.

Drew had missed you a lot on the premiere - a lot more than he thought he would. There were so many moments where he wished he was answering the interviewer's question with you on his side. Your presence calms his nerves down whenever he feels a bit anxious, and such massive premieres, especially for a show as famous as Outer Banks, tend to make him slightly nervous.

But he knows you both aren't ready to come out to the whole world. Not yet. The world can be harsh, and even the strongest soldiers fall on their faces from its adversities. What you have is something made for just the two of you, and even though at times it feels like it shouldn't be this way, you know that this is actually the best you can have. And you are completely satisfied with it.

Why wouldn't you be? Drew is yours, and you are his. And that's all that matters.

See if this whole information stuff is actually a set member for obx and isn’t lying that rudy has asked for JJ to be killed off…I’m done with the show. I’m not even a JJ fan girl, but everything’s gunna feel so weird gang.

I know it’s none of our business, but grown ass adults can’t get a fkn grip man. Like come on to fuck if it is actually true. And see if it’s true that Elaine has also argued with lilah pate, I mean she’s unfollowed Elaine so I assume so, but just what the fuck man. High school shit.

Fair enough with Rudy hating the show and fans, I mean imagine your partner was literally receiving death threats and getting accused of serious things when you’ve asked ppl to stop. I mean I’ve heard the stuff she’s done but I’ve not seen any proof at all even went on a rabbit hole for it. I mean I get the vibe she seems a bit problematic but come on man.

At the end of the day obx is probably gunna be like all these trilogy’s and go to shit. Especially now that there’s gunna be time skips. It’s just gunna end up like Lost. Seasons will get shitter and shitter.

"Come on, Drew! Smile!" Drew whined in response, burying his head into the couch cushions. He curled his body up into a little ball, leaning into Chase for some contact. Chase chuckled at his antics, rubbing his back gently.

Rudy smiled in amusement, watching Madelyn try desperately to catch the boy's attention to snap a cute photo of him. The crew never posted anything while Drew was little, but they loved keeping a small collection of them just for themselves. They saw it as a way to show their true love and support for their coworker and friend. "Don't go all shy on us now!"

Drew wiggled his body in protest, refusing to remove his head from the cushions. "Noo..."

Giggling, Madison piped up from her position next to Chase. "Come on, baby. Don't you want to say cheese for Madelyn?"

At his favorite nickname, Drew perked up. He lifted his head from the cushion, leaning over Chase to get his balance. Chase grinned, using the hand that wasn't holding the TV remote to pat down Drew's messy, short hair. Everyone could agree he looked adorable, adorned in a huge hoodie of Rudy's, baggy sweatpants, with a blanket cape over his shoulders. His hair was messy even with Chase's attempts at fixing it, his cheeks rosy from their outdoor excursions and his eyes red around the rims in tiredness. He was adorable.

"There you are! You're just a sleepy baby, aren't you?" Madelyn smiled fondly at her friend, noting how once again Drew's favorite small petname came in handy once again. As far as they have noticed, that name never fails to catch his attention - and it's a huge trigger of his regression, too. They had to deal with lots of tears when it was used in a joke at a party and Drew was left struggling with his mind all night long. "Smile for me, sleepy baby."

Drew sat up on his knees, giggling groggily as he did so. He was so so sleepy, but he closed his eyes and smiled as hard as he could anyway because he liked making his friends happy. He knew they supported him and it was the best feeling his could ask for.

Madelyn clicked her phone and the picture was taken, and she immediately sent it to their group chat. Everyone's phones dinged at once. Drew shuffled over to Jonathan, flopping out into a laying position. He twisted his body so he was laying on his back, looking up at his younger friend with an upside down and lopsided smile.

Jonathan smiled, redirecting his eyes from the television to Drew. "Well hello there."

Drew giggled. "Hi."

They said nothing more, but Drew was comfortable with that. He was getting very tired anyway. He scrunched his legs up and closed his eyes for a moment, letting a baby-like sigh slip past his pink lips. He was so sleepy!

His rest didn't last very long, though. Chase interrupted him with a hand on his leg. "Don't go falling asleep yet, baby. You still need to change and brush your teeth. You know the rules."

And when he says rules, he means the few things Drew had asked them to make sure he does when he's small. When they have time off, Drew is often small for a few days at a time. He's never good about brushing his teeth or showering or doing some of his basic hygiene stuff while in his headspace, and so he asked his friends if they would help him keep up with that while regressed. They often course agreed, and it honestly wasn't much different than when Drew was big and sleepy; he never wanted to brush his teeth, he always wanted to go straight to bed.

Drew whined, opening his eyes to glare at Chase. He pouted. Chase stood up, towering over the other boy. He stretched his hand out for Drew to take. "Come on, I'll help you."

Drew whined, refusing to take Chase's hand. He sunk back into the couch as far as he could. He was just so comfy, he didn't want to move!

"Drew. Come on, buddy. I know you're tired. What if Rudy came, too? He always makes it fun." Chase offered, sending a wink towards Rudy.

Rudy hopped up from his seat and chimed in helpfully. "I would be honored to be at your service, young sir."

Rudy playfully bowed, eliciting a giggle from Drew. Sleepily, the regressed boy complied, extending his arms for Chase to grab. Chase did so happily, grabbing Drew's hands and helping him to a standing position. Drew fisted his hands into sweaterpaws, rubbing at his eyes sleepily.

The three boys started to make their way out of the living area, stopping at the exit. Chase spoke up softly. "Wave goodnight to Maddie, Madison, and Jonathan, baby."

Drew lazily waved to the others, smiling at their renditions of "goodnight drew" or "goodnight baby." He gently nibbled on the end of one of his sweater paws for comfort, something he often did when he was really sleepy. He then took Chase's hand with his other, shuffling behind as his friends led him to the bathroom.

It was mostly Rudy helping Drew brush his teeth, which turned into him basically brushing the mentally younger's teeth for him while he sat on the counter. Drew was sleepy but very compliant, and the whole teeth brushing ordeal didn't take very long. Chase set out the boy's favorite fluffy pajamas while he was brushing his teeth.

The changing process was very quick too, and once again it was mostly Rudy and Chase doing all of the work. They didn't mind, though. Their friend was absolutely adorable while small and they enjoyed helping him. It was sweet knowing he trusted them with such a precious thing.

"Alright, Drewy, ready for sleep?" Chase asked, bringing the boy's blanket over him.

Drew merely hummed in response, burrowing into his pillow. He was asleep before Rudy could even say goodnight.

Rudy and Chase stood there for a moment longer, silently admiring the friendship they all formed while working together. Knowing they trusted each other enough to share big secrets like Drew's, well that felt really great.

Household 30 - Jess' life gets a bit complicated

Jess and Rafe were finding themselves all over each other more and more. His mother, Hazel, was living with him after the collapse of his marriage, but was glad to give them their space.

She and Rafe woohooed a lot. It was much more fun than with Mr. Richmoneybags, who was a competent lover but didn't make things all about her the way Rafe did.

Jess was always very careful. After all, she didn't want to keep juggling multiple jobs or men with money. What she wanted was to be self-sufficient.

Unfortunately, Jess realized she had somehow gotten pregnant. Based on the timing, it could be either Rafe's baby or Mr. Richmoneybags'. One would set her up for life and the other would bring many challenges crashing on her doorstep.

Thinking about potential consequences added to the nausea she already suffered.
