“I’m wearing a Jil Sander jacket, Adidas track jacket, LL Bean button up shirt, pleated plaid skirt from Seven Wonders in Brooklyn and Raf Simons chino pants from James Veloria. The only things new are my fav Beans vest from Story MFG, my bag from Chopova Lowena and the shoes which are an old Braindead x Reebok collab. Oh and the tie is a hair bow from work. I’ve more and more been inspired by my surroundings and creating outfits that feel true to me.”

living by the self-penned mantra “always strive and prosper”, or “always stackin’ and paper-chasin’”, or perhaps “accumulate status and power” rocky, along with his harlem-based crew, is busy carving his own one-of-a-kind niche in the rap game. after dropping the free to download mixtape LiveLoveA$AP late last year as well as releasing his co-directed music videos for hits ‘purple swag‘,’ peso‘ and most recently ‘wassup‘, rocky officially has the internet going nuts. In an age where it can be all about the music video, he’s got all the boxes ticked: a dope ass green-haired chick by his side, gold teeth by the ton, and lots of yohji yamamoto x adidas cameos. 10 million plus views on youtube don’t lie. ending 2011 off right, A$AP Rocky signed a 7-figure record deal which will allow him the freedom to further explore various personal creative projects. quite the charmer, i-D online had a quick chat with the rapper during a recent visit to toronto.

iD: you kind of just came on the scene out of nowhere and immediately generated a lot of buzz, what do you think caught peoples’ attention? 

AP: i’m this dude from new york talking about this high fashion lifestyle stuff, ignorant stuff and positive stuff all at the same time. it’s just leaving people confused. i like to leave people in a state of mind where they don’t even know what’s going on.  people think I’m illuminati or a devil worshiper because of the ‘wassup‘ video.  people don’t even get the message. so it’s cool. i like people to just wonder, that’s my thing.

iD: who are your five favourite designers right now… 

AP: this guy right here (points at his jacket) raf simons, of course rick owens, jeremy scott, alexander wang and i want to say ksubi.

The Fashion Killa - A$AP Rocky

A rapper from Harlem New York, A$AP Rocky is no stranger to getting dressed and looking stylish. Since his come-up on the music scene back in 2011, he is known to rap about high fashion designers and streetwear brands, and is considered to be one of the pioneers for mixing high fashion together with streetwear, which is a very popular style for the youth today. In 2013 he released a song called "Fashion Killa" where he raps about his love for fashion and stylish women which references over 27 fashion brands and designers. This includes Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Balenciaga, Jil Sanders, Alexander McQueen, Raf Simons, Rick Owens and much more. The music video also features Rihanna, who plays as his love interest which is very ironic because 11 years later, they are now dating and have two sons together. Here is the iconic video below.

Rocky's style doesn't only come from his expensive clothes, but also his confidence to wear whatever he feels like because he knows he's going to look good no matter what. His bold approach to experiment different styles such as mixing designer clothing with streetwear is what sets him apart from other fashionistas around the world. His love for fashion is also very authentic and apparent as he literally raps about being a "fashion killa" which is why he is one of the most notorious fashion icons in pop culture and is here to stay for the future.

発掘しましたよ、超グッドサイズ。

加えてエアリフト元祖カラーのケ��ア。

最高の条件ですが、この靴あるあるとしてカプセルパーツが欠損しています。

でもこのサイズとカラーなら文句は言いませんよ私は。

ソールの剥離も無いですし、基本的にはコンディションは良いです。

では、持っておきたい気持ちを抑えてリリース。

クラシックなスタンスミスのコアブラック。

こちらに関してもモデルとカラーは最強、またコンディションまで素晴らしい。

これが大人のセクシーシューズ。
