I am le gay. So I really only write MxM and canon. I just don’t have any OC’s myself lol.

Anyway, I typically write Vegeta for:

Kakavege or Raditz/Vegeta. I’m also open to other pairings with him. Also not against writing Raditz, just know I haven’t done so before.

I also typically write Goten, but I have some experience writing Trunks.

You know I haven't seen The Tarble Movie I refuse to type out the full title of or Super so my only prior experience of Tarble comes from Facebook rp from 2011-12 where he was played as a sweetie so. I hope this comes across as the good faith question it is and not QUESTIONING but you know. You write him as an amusingly horrible person; is there canon basis to that or do you just do it for fun? If it is just for fun I'll join you I'm having tons of fun

ANSOLUTELY NO BASIS. I just have The Vision !!!!!!

In the actual special, (which is 30 minutes long and free on youtube), all we see of Tarble is:

- he speaks politely

- he had still been relying on old technology (scouter, Freeza Force uniform)

- He has no pride ... He shows up and genuinely begs for help. Not the Saiyan way. But it was the only practical thing for him to do. He wasnt deluded by strong emotions like pride, shame, or fear. He just ... SHOWS UP, explains the urgency of his predicament in a genuine but not overwhelming manner, stands by to watch the others have a go at the bad guy, and stands guard over his small wife.

- And then he fucking fucks off for forever. We see his wife emote one last time, but we do not see Tarble past a certain point. Not to say thank you or anythng.

- In one of the movies that preceded Dragon Ball Super that featured plot events that became Dragon Ball Super (and maybe in the actual DBS as well I do not recall...!), Bulma makes a comment about Vegeta's brother, asking if they had any way to summon him now. She does not provide a name. Vegeta says that he had retreated to a distant planet and that they had no way to find him. Bulma is incensed that Vegeta didnt think to exchange contact information.

- In the DBS Broly movie, after Planet Vegeta blows up, the last remaining adult Saiyans ask little Vegeta and Raditz about their brothers in an attempt to take a proper roll call of their race. Vegeta does confirm that he had a younger brother, and that he doesnt know where he got sent to and that he doesnt care. Again, no name is provided.

So it's been made canon that Vegeta DOES have a younger brother, and that he got sent away in the manner of crappy Saiyan babies, and that Vegeta has no contact with him. BUT not even a name is canonically provided.

ANYWAY. Yeah the best understanding we could have of him with what we've been provided is that: he is polite and civil and decent, he does stand straight and put up a fight (he glares at the bad guys and puts his wife behind him) but he knows his limits (no delusions), he feels no connection with his blood family and leaves behind no contact information.

And I did/do use that in my portrayals.... I also just let the true stories bubble up from the primordial soup that is my internal experience & history, and I cant say no when it's just so funny and gratifying.

i used to be HEAVY into rp. thats actually how i met ruby--she approached me when i was looking for turles roleplay partners for my raditz back in the day!

im more used to roleplaying canon characters ever since i got into anime fandoms, but before that i was really into oc roleplay. i think im getting back into oc rp though, after starting to rp with ruby again!

so i kinda wanna maybe try getting into oc rp again? im a little nervous and a bit rusty as well, but i wanna have fun roleplaying again. it was really really fun and i wanna get back into it

i'll probably find some oc rp groups or something on discord. once upon a time i was part of a dbz oc rp group but im not 100% sure if i could get back into that scene specifically unless my dbz fire was rekindled (im still into it its just...not as intense now)

DB artists shoutout

Apart from my amazing artistic RP mutuals, I want to give a shoutout to other great DB artists I follow and really deserve love and attention.

@chickenoptyrx - Such an inspiration for me whenever I need references, especially with Shallot and Raditz -- I could look at their art on them for hours. I just LOVE the way they draw faces and hair, and their stories with Trunks and Broly are also creative and amazing.

@dailycupofcreativitea - everything about their style just brings a smile to my face whenever I see it! Great Gohan-related art, sketchy and lively, has all the nostalgic vibes from DBZ! Litterally, their posts are as cosy and enjoyable as a nice cup of warm tea!

@amartbee​ - intense expressions and great anatomy. A real pleasure for the eyes, and their art has a flow I can’t help but love.

@aolihui - dramatic poses, sweet and adorkable drawings (lots of VegeBul), really gets me to snicker at some of the expressions, they’re too funny!

@cozymochi​ - this artist is now onto other fanarts but really, follow them! They are so amazing in owning different styles and their DB fanart was incredible. Their love for Yamcha and the OC they created, Marzi, was one of the sweetest things on my dash!

@amiz06-certified-b1mb0​ - last but not least. Their art on the Cold family is on point, sharp, elegant, and the whole lore about their DB Human AU comic just sucked me in for its creativity.

Vegeta's eyes met Raditz's, and if it weren't for the years they spent together, he would have missed it.

And yeah, even ignoring the tail thing... What the heck? Was any if this?

Still... That familiarity was still there. Whatever was this weird boy's deal was... The coincidences was... Tugging at him.

The angry one brushed off Goku's question yet again, but... Eh. Maybe he was just really curious.

The fact that he was suspicious and and uncertain was lost on Goku. He just looked grumpy just the same.

Though, Goku couldn't help but arch a brow in his own confusion.

"A what?"

He almost thought the angry was asking about clarifications for what he said, albeit weirdly. But then, that weird word was used to refer to his friends, asking-

"... A Saiyan," Raditz finally piped up, stepping next to Vegeta, "It's what we are," he added as he gestured between himself and Vegeta.

Goku's followed the gestures, tilting his head.

"... Ooooohhhh..."

So... People with tails...? So there's a word for it?

"None of them have tails. I haven't met anyone with a tail like us."

Goku paused.

"... Except for Korin and Puar, but they're cat people."

Now it was Raditz's turn to exchange a look with Vegeta. Because, while the boy didn't know what a Saiyan was... The fact he revealed that he seems to be an outlier on this planet was...

... He remembered the risks of being sent off planet as an infiltration child. Heard his mother list them all as the reasons she didn't want that for Kakarot when it became clear he was too weak for Planet Vegeta's gravity. Including...

"... Did you at any point suffer a major head injury?"

... Goku blinked owlishly at that.

"... Howja know???"

"... Excuse me, he what?!"

Lost his tail?! Twice?!

Raditz suddenly felt better about the harassment back in the Force. With all the shit they pull taking advantage of his weakness, at least they never straight up removed his tail.

Threatened to just to scare him, but never actually followed through.

"Dummy?"

The angry one was starting to remind Goku of Bulma.

Goku watched Radish, still stunned, try to interject, maybe correct the name thing? But then the angry one answered with his own questions.

Geeze, bossy like her too.

"Okie dokes."

This guy was intense, but eh, what's the harm? Maybe he'll calm down if Goku simply answers the questions. Not that big a deal.

... Though the first question had him blinking owlishly.

"... Sent?" he parroted, brows furrowing in confusion.

What did this guy mean by that? He was here first.

Though... maybe anger here meant why he was out here by himself. And if he really thought about it, maybe in a way he was sent here. Not specifically here, but he was seen off with the instructions from both his late grandfather and his master to train. Especially his glaring weakness.

"... Well... in a way both answers are related, I guess," he said finally, "First time-"

He paused.

"... I actually don't know?" he admitted, "I don't think I got to see how it happened, and I never got answers from Bulma and the others."

Though, to be fair, he kind of brushed it off right after the initial shock. Didn't really pursue answers.

"The second time, it was in a fight with my grampa. He had me by the tail, and he swung and slammed me around by it until it came right off."

Raditz actually gave a full body shudder at that.

While his tail was never removed, he has been swung around and into things by it by the more... vicious (read: sadistic) soldiers. And to hear someone recounting having gone through that but until it finally gave out... that sent a shiver down his spine. Just imagining it being taken that far...! His tail tightened its coil around his waist again.

"And so! Here I am," Goku finished brightly, "To train! Both to get stronger and to train my tail! Grampa always said I need to work on that."

And losing your tail a second time to him is what finally drove you to do so?! Raditz thought, looking a few shades paler.

Goku crossed his arms behind his head.

"Now your turn."

More holiday events! If I space them out right. Bringing back Scourge of the Stars and Smutember, and I will be doing Kinkmas and something special for Spring season that's a little similar to VDay Event ♥ It's early in the year so if any other events come up, I may try them out if I like them. Also, I was inspired by actually chatting with some friends before about what I write it made me want to open up more about my writing process and things I wanna do with fanfics. But I couldn't really find any group chats I trusted at a glance or find anything for dbz fic writers (specifically spicy content 👀 but not entirely the premise). I really wanted to take the loneliness out of the writing process and create a space for other dbz writers to have the same. Somewhere to come together and chat, be weird together, bounce ideas, simp and gush over dbz f/o's, share their updates, writing events and fics to help boost traffic to their stories and generally support each other! But I am old and know nothing of discord anymore! so it's a "project" but very much still an idea. It was something I enjoyed in my RP groups that I really miss a lot and hope to find in others who share my love for reading and writing dbz fics ♥

🦷 Is there a chapter, scene, or WIP you're dreading to write (but is necessary to your plot)? Share a snippet or tell us about it!

So a looong time ago, I started working on a FINAL final chapter for Conton City Lockdown to play around with the soulmates/destiny trope and it got pushed deep, deep down in the WIP barrel. I said I would come back to and finish. But it got lengthy with JUST dialogue and now I kinda don't wanna fill in the blanks uwu so idk what to do with it but I don't wanna give it up either. Here is a Snippet w/ some context. The CCH essentially doesn't believe in destiny (despite literally being the one to save all of history), but she starts to ♥

TP: "Could you see yourself doing anything else with your life now? The Time patrol does kind of take over."

Goku: "I guess not anymore. Not knowing what I know now, anyways." "It makes me think a lot about the first time I saw you."

TP: "Stopping Mira? That was a pretty big win for the Time Patrol with your help."

Goku: "It was." "But that wasn't the first time I saw you."

TP: "..What?"

Goku: "Don't you remember? You fell out of the sky." "It was a miracle you came when you did. Ol' Raditz was really giving me and Piccolo a hard time, he really had us thinking on our toes and nothing we hit him with seemed to work. It looked like we were really done for. But then you suddenly appeared." "You saved me." "But I guess we undid that when Piccolo shot me."

TP, surprised: "..My special mission.." "My first time patrol for Supreme Kai of Time was to save you?"

Goku: "Really? That's pretty awesome!" "The first time Supreme Kai of Time came to me for help, she was sending me to help you with Mira. Isn't that something?"

TP: "Holy shit.."

Goku: “Yeah, I didn’t really remember too much about you until I saw you again. All I had was this vague memory of a strong warrior who helped me and Piccolo. I could remember your strength but nothing else. I wanted to see them again.” “Then I finally found you, fighting again, way stronger than you were back then. It all came clear. Knowing that we both had become stronger since then made me excited!”

"One slice is jus' fine, ma'am," Shoto responded.

Raditz took a moment to think on that. Partially to decide, and partially to remember what name was which meat. Vegetarian and seafood, self explanatory... Beef were... Bovine... Chicken... Those were like the ostriches on Shoto's farm but way smaller and much shorter necks and legs, right? Pork is... Swine...? Yeah, that sounds right...

"... Beef..." He muttered, finally turning away from the blackboard.

Shoto slipped out his wallet then.

"How much do I owe ya?"

"Sure are!" Shoto chimed as Raditz moved to the indicated chalkboard.

Raditz needed to get used to reading the written language here... Different penmanships admittedly made that a tad difficult. And this board felt archaic. Seriously, how difficult was it to display the written menu on a screen-?

"My friend here needsta take it easy from his regime fer a lil' bit, so figured, might as well expand our horizons a bit while he does."

Translation; He needed to take Raditz away from the farm that wasn't the farmers market for once, and what the hell, might as well go somewhere new to him too.

Raditz raised a brow at being referred to as 'friend', but chose not to comment.

"An' you were recommended to us by wunna his... sparrin' partners?" yeah, sounds right, "Fella named 'Pickle', I think."

At that, Raditz repressed a snicker, the sound only escaping as a light snort.

"Wuh? Wuzzo funny?"

"Nothing, Mister Gan," Raditz responded without looking away from the blackboard.

"Now, Raditz, ya know I don' talk to 'em as much as you do. If I got a name wrong an' you know it, I needja to correct me here 'fore I end up actually callin' 'em the wrong names to their faces."

With his refusal to look away from the menu and his big, long hair blocking his face in most angles, it was hard to tell if Raditz's lack of a response was due to him being too absorbed in reading... or if he was just pretending to.

Raditz will in fact not correct Shoto.

"Ahm... Anyways... That cheesecake's lookin' mighty good right now, and... Raditz? Ya find anything ya like?"

... Raditz had to keep in mind financial limitations. He didn't need to bankrupt his employer letting him stay on his property trying to satisfy his Saiyan appetite.

He could hunt for more food later anyways.

"... The meat buns seem good..." he muttered.

Otherwise he'd have the whole damn menu and the display case.

"An' a chamomile tea fer us both if that's okay?"
