Yeah it's pretty easy to get overwhelmed and while I try to branch out when I get to that point of 'wow this is too much' friends will take priority over acquaintances over strangers. I TRY to not let that happen but it does. I work full time, there are only so many hours in a day

There's also a difference between "clique" (eg. plant cell walls, rigid and hard to permeate) and just getting super comfy with some of your RP partners (like I have with radiantdark, because we also RP with each other elsewhere). The first is exclusionary, the second is just... you're *comfy* with some people and that makes RP a little easier, IMO.
