house, wilson and Rachel's first interaction together is actually hilarious.

no way those idiots deluded themselves into thinking she ate a coin and proceeded to check every diaper since for the coin. and then realises they made a mathematical error in the counting (even though initially they needed a change of 68 but ended up having 58 and later realising they needed a change of 42 but also not realising they got an extra coin in the count) and deduced that there was no coin in Rachel (even after they both saw something distinctly coin shaped in her intestines)

not to mention they both made the decision to leave a 2 year old toddler alone with boxes of food and then being surprised that a mess was made 💀

and wilson leaving the house via the bedroom window?? you can't convince me cuddy would've batted an eye at wilson's presence at her house when house is there. I fully believe that she would both not care and be relieved that a responsible adult was present

and after all the trouble these idiots went through for cuddy not to find out what happened, she's the one who ends up finding the coin in the diaper and to really hit the nail in the coffin, Rachel gives house away

Fun little note: The duck Wilson gifts Rachel makes an appearance in season 7. I specifically noticed it towards the end of episode 10 when House walks into her room. 🫶

I don't have much to say about this line but this could represent how Wilson is like a mother who wants to be acknowledged by what he does to sacrifice for others. He sacrifices himself by wanting to be there for people when they are vulnerable so he can feel some sort of worth in a way, but in the end of the episode in which Wilson is talking the treatment for cancer in Houses room, you can see Wilson realizing how much he gives to people and how much little he gives to himself which made him realize how miserable he actually is.

As a Hilson shipper I see this as Wilson's reaction to him seeing House with Cuddy but it really wouldn't make sense since Wilson was happy to see House make progress on changing himself even if he had to date Cuddy to do that.

Wilson bets on House in this situation because even though Wilson knows he can't fix House, there's a part of him that wants to but he can't because House knows his problem with “fixing people” matter fact he even once said something along the lines of “your saving complex” House knows that Wilson wants to save him but he does the opposite and makes himself worse which feeds that obsession Wilson has with fixing House. I also wanted to mention that the line that says “and I will pay for my place” represents a part of Wilson that knows that he can't fix House but he will still be there for him even though House disappoints him by being even more miserable. (which feeds the cycle that House and Wilson have going on there).

Wilson has had 3 failed marriages because he's the kind of person who is great at relationships that involve being loyal (marriages involve being loyal and staying with one person for the rest of your life which Wilson is good at and he knows this) He wants to be there for people when they are vulnerable that's why he had so many relationships with his patients, he's the one telling his patients that they have cancer and he likes doing that because like I said he feels some kind of worth when he's there for people when they are vulnerable, but what's different with House is that he's not vulnerable and he hides his emotions even though everyone knows that he has been through a lot, Wilson knows that House has been through alot and in his mind if he fixes House, House will think he's some kind of god or savior and Wilson will feel accomplishes if he does, he just wants House to be vulnerable so he can be there for him while he fulfilling his selfish desires.

I'm losing by their side

Wilson is losing by fixing house meaning he is sacrificing himself so he can make House a decent guy so he can feel some sort of satisfaction but what Wilson does not understand is that nobody changes unless they want to change themself, also the last few episodes, in which Wilson starts realizing how miserable he is and says something like “I should've been a jerk like you” he said that because he realized that all he did was try and fix people instead of focusing on himself like House did but the thing is House didn't care about people and yet he was still miserable and Wilson did care about people yet he is also miserable, they both share that in common and it shows how they always think there grass is greener despite both of there grass being the same.

This represents how Wilson wants House to be vulnerable around him so he can make him “better” he's basically saying that “just for once let me make you into a decent human being” when he himself has problems that are just as bad as Houses, he can't fix him but in his mind it's not impossible so he must try to the point he loses himself, this line just says that “let me atleast try to make you better even though I know I can't”.

Wilson knows he's not gonna be able to make him better but his mind just won't let him accept the fact that he's unfixable, so he gets disappointed but not surprised when House does something bad to himself. I just wanted to say that once House does something that involves showing emotions for example when he started dating Cuddy, Wilson Obsession of fixing house just gets bigger and bigger because he thinks House is making process but in reality when House does something unexpected like date Cuddy he does it because HE wants to not because he wants to better himself or because Wilson “fixed him” which is just more prove that people dont change, they only change when they want too.(I wanted to add that House wanted to date Cuddy but Cuddy wanted House to be a better person so House tries to change himself because he loves Cuddy not because he wants to be better.)

These are my fav lines because this shows how desperate Wilson is to see House emotional he doesn't care if he yells at him or throws stuff at him he just wants to make House feel human he wants to feel for him and what he's gone through, he wants to know him on a emotional level and he doesn't care what he has to do to get him to open up, there was one episode where, Wilson was going to die he was crying and saying something like “I just want you to say that you love me” in this scene wilson was crying and yelling at him to get him to have a emotional reaction  but House didn't, he just said that he will say he loves him when he takes the treatment for cancer, I think that Wilson at that point was just coming to realize that House is a asshole and he can't do anything about it ,even if he gets the treatment he won't open up or be a decent human being.

Wilson has always bet on relationship thats he knows aren't going to work out, he knows but he doesn't want to believe it so that's a reason why he fixates on fixing people, Wilson and House just have a different connection than his wifes, House is just as messed up as he is which works out for them.

Wilson is obsessed with House that's why he can't leave him, there was one episode in which Amber had died and when Wilson got over it he decided to leave House and start anew, but then when Houses dad died and House didn't want to go, as a “favor” for Cuddy he forced House to go and after that, Wilson stayed, Wilson could have just ignored House and started anew but he is so obsessed with him. He doesn't want House to know how obsessed he is with him even though he already knows, House also knew that eventually he would come back and like always, he was right.

How you'd be over me looking in my eyes when I come, Someone to watch me die

When wilson got cancer he didn't want to be in a hospital because he didn't want people to pity him and tell him that he looks fine even though he doesn't, he wants to spend time with the people he loves (House) like he always did, he doesn't want people to be with him because they feel bad, he wants people to be there for him because they want to spend time with him and because they like Wilson, that's one of the reasons the ending works well, House faked his dead so he can spend time with him for the last 5 months they have together. I wanted to mention that the way I interpret this line is like “I want to enjoy the last moments I have with you because I know we won't be able to be together, and when we wont be together you will see the amount of despair I will be in” (that's another reason I see this song in Wilson perspective)

This line shows that Wilson will have House to see him die and how House will witness the amount of emotions he will go through on his deathbed.

I bet on losing dogs

This basically is saying how Wilson have and always will choose to be with people that he knows he won't be with them for long, like that one episode in where Wilson gets back together with his first wife, even House knew how badly it would end despite not ever meeting her( and of course they didn't end up being together for long), this line really shows Wilson whole personality.

(I probably don't likes this as much because i feel like this song is way to overused but they i still love Mitski)
