𝘛̴𝘳̴𝘪̴𝘢̴𝘯̴𝘨̴𝘭̴𝘦̴ (2009)

2022 Horror Challenge: [55/?]
↳“Bad dreams make you think you're seeing things that you haven't. You know what I do when I have a bad dream? I close my eyes and I think of something nice - like being here with you.” Triangle (2009) dir. Christopher Smith
Plot: Five friends set sail and their yacht is overturned by a strange and sudden storm. A mysterious ship arrives to rescue them, and what happens next cannot be explained.
Starring: Melissa George, Michael Dorman, Rachael Carpani, Henry Nixon, Emma Lung & Liam Hemsworth
Been meaning to watch this one for a while. The IMDB plot summary doesn't really do the movie justice since I rather liked the twist because I didn't really see it coming. I will say I might be getting a little winded with my watches possibly because I didn't feel overly invested in the actual story but I did still appreciate that it went a way narratively I didn't expect. Melissa George does do a fine job since it is essentially her movie. The rest of the cast is fine as well. There's even a pre-fame Liam Hemsworth for any fans of him who wanna see him in a small role. I will say being stuck on a ship in the middle of nowhere where something is trying to kill would def be terrifying to me to be perfectly honest. I do wish I had been more invested but I do think it was a decent movie. Worth checking out.

Seeds of Yesterday (2015)
Date watched: 31 October 2020
10/10
I mean, obviously there are problems, and I’m pretty sure Christopher actually drove off a cliff rather than being hit by a car McDreamy style on the side of the road, but that’s okay.
Honestly, I love this book. I know it’s fucking ridiculous but it appeals to my undying love of DRAMA, of which there is so much.
I mean say what you will about VC Andrews but the bitch could write some fuckin’ family drama is all I’m saying
Cindy though
Like contain yourself girl
He is MENTALLY ILL
I love that he’s fucking Jory’s pregnant wife the whole time, it’s great. And then he ditches her ass the first chance he gets.
Such a psychopath
Not sure why they didn’t just FUCKING LEAVE?
this gif is relevant to my interests
DO NOT FUCK WITH CATHY DOLLANGANGER
