Just got denied a car note deferment after paying most of what was due last month. I'm currently on medical leave which started last month. So I did my best.
I decided to try for the deferment this month in the hope that the fact that I am on medical leave and am not working at all and my leave pay is a very small percentage of my income... I hoped that maybe that would make a difference. Nope.
So now I come to ask The Adjustor to see if he might pop down to where this guy is and give him a little heart-stopping performance. (CEO of the bank that owns my soulnote and that's a link to his LinkedIn Profile. Y'know. That sweet sweet publicly available information.)
I'm a huge fan of your work, my friend. Hope you're keeping warm and well. Sending epic awesome vibes to you and yours, Adjustor, and setting the intention that the universe provides you with everything you need to thrive in this life. Asking my patron gods to help these intentions to manifest. So mote it be! 💖🙏
Stay safe, Adjustor. We've got your back.
(picture of denial letter below cut to help get that blood boilin' 🤣)
#so hey y'all#this is a joke#and ranting#(mostly lol)#but if a certain somebody did come across this by some miracle#and they wanted to go again#no complaints here#haha id probably become an accessory#but y'know#i'd totally make a cute accessory for someone to wear#baddum tsk#the adjuster#uhc#united healthcare#united health group#car note#car loan#regional acceptance corporation#rac bank

Why Hungary was so hollow
An F1 win is an amazing achievement. One of the pinnacles of a drivers career. As a fan, we remember the ones that carry real weight to them, that come with a backstory, a driver we have felt has been unfortunate in the past, a truly spectacular drive.
Most of the drivers on the current F1 grid fall into that category. Pierre’s spectacular drive at Monza, the sheer weight of emotion for Charles at Spa, the feeling of justice for Lewis in Canada, the absolutely fairytale nature of Max in Barcelona, after driving brilliantly for 3 years against the might of that Red Bull car we all felt Lando deserved that win in Miami and who can forget the spectacular last to first debut win of Checo in Sakir when he was facing the end of his career.
We cherish them because they were special, earned, deserved. It’s what makes people cry over this sport and watch it all their life.
And this is why what happened in Hungary makes me uncomfortable and goes against the nature of what makes this sport special.
Team orders are not new. Hell Valtteri is cracking jokes about them now. For me they came to the forefront in the Michael Schumacher Ferrari days. And they were not liked. They were booed on the podium and on one occasion even messed it up and had the wrong driver win on the line. However it became accepted that if you want to win a championship, you had to resort to it.
And my God did Mercedes and Red Bull resort to it!
However it was going on further down the field for constructors points. I’ve never hidden from the fact that Carlos and Lando’s first podiums for McLaren required team orders (and penalties for Hamilton). We have seen Kevin gain more penalty points than actual points this season carrying out team orders. I swear Fernando is in charge of Aston’s and previously Alpine’s team orders. Somehow it became the norm to apply team orders for any situation and that was never going to end well.
Dispute it all you want Monza 2021 was a race decided on team orders, (confirmed yet again last week by Zak Brown) and at the point maybe people should have sat up, took notice and realised this is a bit of a slippery slope we are on. But no it was 2021, the Max and Lewis show, so a lot of other things got ignored.
And so to Hungary 2024. Now this is not analysis of why McLaren pitted who when, or why they now admit it never occurred to them they might be under pressure from people behind (seriously McLaren. SERIOUSLY!!!). Or the radio messages 🤬🤬🤬 Or the fact that apparently Lando was the reason this all went tits up ?!?!?!?!? We are going to look at how team orders have now handed a driver their first win in circumstances almost impossible to justify and seemingly implying they are banking that favour for later in the season.
There are two things that are key to this. Firstly the start and then everything that happened around the second pitstops.
Oscar got the lead yes, but then Max took 7 laps to let Lando through and only when threatened with a penalty, gifting Oscar that lead.
However Oscar’s first little off road adventuring just before the second pitstop changed a lot in the race. Lando caught him up. Now that nice gap McLaren had to double stack had gone.
They called Lando in as Lewis was 9 seconds behind, in out, 2 laps later Oscar in, out. Up to now this its straight forward. Simple switcharoo, easy 1-2.
Then Oscar went off the track again. This puts him 3 seconds behind Lando and 7 seconds ahead of Lewis. He is now closer to Lewis than Lando was before the pitstops.
At this point McLaren should have gone into save the race mode, instead they were transfixed on what they thought was going to happen 5 laps ago.
And what resulted from this was embarrassing not only for McLaren but F1. Team orders resulted in a driver slowing down a nearly 7 second lead to give his team mate who admitted he couldn’t catch him, his first win. And like most people I sat there thinking, WTF!
We watch F1 for the racing, the intelligence required to predict the best way forward to win the race. The necessity of the perfect pitstop and keeping the car on the grey stuff. It cheapens it when team orders gets used so flagrantly.
I’ve seen McLaren do this before in 1997 with Mika Hakkinen) however difference being Mika was a driver that nearly died in a crash in 1995. He had been on the grid a while and when McLaren rocked up with their missile in 1997 the drivers made an agreement whoever lead into the first corner of the first race could have the win. Mika led most of the race and then misheard a garbled radio message (no digital back then) and came into the pits when he didn’t need to. Coulthard was asked to give the place back and did (and we know how that ended, see Hungarian commentary for proof). End result people felt that win for Hakkinen was deserved, earned.
Hungary didn’t have the same sense of fairness about it. It wasn’t the first or last race of the season, no championships have been decided, every point counts. Oscar yes had driven a great 2/3rds of the race. But tiny errors had put him in the position he was in. If it was merely the undercut then that would have been resolved quickly. It came down to errors and lack of pace at the end. If you can’t catch the leader, how the hell can you expect to lead?
I used to think Esteban had the luckiest win on the F1 grid with Bottas bowling 7 cars at the start of the race. Nope this now takes that honour.
Let’s remember currently this is not for a championship (people would argue it hinders the championship). This was team orders because they can. The first time Oscar had every found himself near a win and despite the fact in any other circumstances he would have to take those mistakes as lessons learnt, McLaren gave him the win, because they think they are going to need him to return the favour later in the season. (Which means we will be going through this shitshow again).
That’s what sours the win and makes it feel hollow. Yes at some point any driver in a front running team is going to be gifted a win but not their first and not so obviously. It cheapens the credit of an F1 win period.
And I feel for those drivers who put in years of work at teams with non competitive cars. Who drove brilliantly. Who when the time came had to fight for that first win, case in point Seb or Jenson. Or had their first wins taken from them by the team’s errors, think Lando and George. There is no sense of accomplishment for Oscar.
Lando didn’t spoil that moment for Oscar. It’s hard to celebrate a win that doesn’t feel like it was earned.
The worst part of this, we all knew Oscar would win a race eventually. This didn’t need to be done at all. This for me feels like Max’s first title. Will always be questioned because of outside assistance, was it earned or was it gifted?
Hungary 2024 is not a race F1 should look back on fondly.

Okręt mój płynie dalej
Żeby Was... Jeszcze dycham.
- W przeciwieństwie do jej zmian z Kucem, zrobiliśmy wszystko.
//
//
To prawda. Właśnie wróciłem z dworu. Czuć przyjemne ochłodzenie. Lato spierdala na wakacje. A moi starzy jeszcze nie zerwali liści w winorośli. Niczego się nie uczą :P
//
//
//
No nic, zbieram się do pracy. Jeszcze juro :/

Kylie Minogue Tension tour
It’s official… Kylie Minogue will finally return to Australian stages for the first time in years with her highly anticipated Tension Tour in 2025.
It’s been an excruciating wait for Aussies after Kylie’s renaissance last year with banger Padam Padam and album Tension.
At that time, the singer was focusing on her Las Vegas residency. The residency wrapped up in May, and we’ve known for months that a world tour announcement was coming.
The Australian icon has confirmed that she’s heading out on the road for her biggest tour since 2011.
As we revealed last week, Kylie Minogue will start her tour in Australia, performing in Perth on February 15, 2025, before concerts across Asia, the UK, and beyond.
Kylie also finally confirmed the rumours that a new album, titled Tension II, is out next month.
The new collection of nine new tracks and Kylie’s collaborations on October 18, 2024.
The lead single, titled Lights Camera Action, drops September 27. The new song is available to pre-save now.
Kylie said she is “beyond excited” to finally announce the Tension Tour 2025.
“I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more,” she said.
“It’s been an exhilarating ride so far, and now, get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!”

MAMS: Szenzációs hangulat, pazar versenyeredmények a Slovakiaringen!
A szlovákiai Diósförgepatonyban 2009. A 600-as futamon Kecskés Bence volt a magyar csapat „húzóembere”. Leiskolázta a nemzetközi mezőnyt, a hétvége egyik legeredményesebb magyar résztvevője lett. Mérlege: Magyar Országos Bajnokság két győzelem, Szlovák Nagydíj abszolút 600 kétszer is első hely. A dobogóra állásig kicsit összeszedtem magam. Upcoming UK Government Set to Gain from Declining Inflation and Fuel Prices
Britain's upcoming government is set to gain from a reduction in household financial pressure due to a slowdown in inflation and a decrease in fuel prices, although costs remain high for many families. Data from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) indicates that annual UK shop price inflation dropped to 0.2% last month from 0.6% in May, the slowest rate since October 2021, as retailers lowered prices on key products like butter and coffee. Ahead of Thursday’s general election, separate figures from the RAC reveal that petrol and diesel prices fell for the second consecutive month in June, offering some relief to families grappling with the cost of living crisis. However, the RAC noted that fuel prices remain "too expensive" in England, Wales, and Scotland. The RAC’s monthly fuel watch reported that the average price of petrol in the UK at the end of June was just under 145p per litre, down from 148p at the beginning of the month. Diesel prices decreased from nearly 154p to about 150p. "Fuel prices are still nowhere near where they should be despite falling for the second consecutive month," the RAC stated. It pointed out that fuel costs are lower in Northern Ireland, with petrol being 4.5p cheaper per litre on average and diesel 8p cheaper than in the rest of the UK. Simon Williams, the RAC’s head of policy, said: “While it’s good news that prices at the pumps have fallen for the second month in a row, it also leaves a bad taste because drivers in Great Britain are still paying much more than those in Northern Ireland.” Williams highlighted that Shell and BP owned forecourts were the most expensive, referencing Competition and Markets Authority data showing Shell-owned sites as the priciest in the UK. “We remain baffled how the same fuel can be sold at vastly different prices by the biggest retailers, whether supermarkets or the world’s largest oil companies,” he added. Rishi Sunak has made lowering inflation a key focus of the Conservatives’ general election campaign, following the official headline rate dropping to the Bank of England’s 2% target in May from a peak of 11.1% in October 2022. Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves, however, emphasized that household financial pressure remains "acute" as average prices are still significantly higher than before the cost of living crisis. According to the latest update from the BRC, food inflation slowed to 2.5% in June, down from 3.2% in May, marking the 14th consecutive month of deceleration in grocery price growth. This indicates that while average prices in UK shops are still rising, they are doing so at a slower rate than in previous months. Helen Dickinson, the chief executive of the BRC, noted that retailers have reduced the prices of essential items such as butter and coffee. Non-food prices also showed deflation, meaning average prices are lower compared to a year ago, as shops aimed to increase sales by offering discounts. “This trend was particularly noticeable for TVs, with attractive deals aimed at capitalizing on the excitement of the Euros,” she said. “The winner of Thursday’s election will benefit from the efforts of retailers to lower costs and prices, helping to ease the cost of living for millions of households". My Own Creations
Here's where things start getting good.
Super Kraang. I committed the cardinal sin of putting a Kraang on the head. Still, it looks pretty cool. I imagine this would be some sort of Kraang Leader, akin to Kraang Sub-Prime.
The head is obviously from Kraang Lab Escape. The body is from a Tie Fighter Pilot. The legs are from the Evil Robot Minifigure. I don’t know where the pink hands are from.
Rac-goon. This all started with a funny thought after watching Incredibles 2. I was amazed at the Jack-Jack vs Raccoon fight scene. I found it very cool and interesting how a simple raccoon could hold its own against a metahuman. It did better than most supervillains. And so a funny thought came to me: what if an all grown up Jack-Jack still had to deal with this specific raccoon. This wouldn't be impossible. This is a world of superheroes. Perhaps the raccoon fell in radioactive waste, or was hit by an alien beam, or was subject to experimentation. There are no shortage of ways for a raccoon to become a much bigger threat. Imagine having the same nemesis from when you were a literal baby.
However, soon the idea took on a life of its own.
I always envisioned Rac-goon as a raccoon the size of a human (maybe bigger than most) wearing the stereotypical crook getup. The cap, the striped sweater, and, of course, a mask over his naturally occurring mask. This mutated raccoon would be incredibly intelligent, being able to speak and carry out complex plans. However, since he was a normal raccoon first, he doesn't have a good grasp on human values.
A prime example is Rac-goon executing several complete robberies of highly-defended banks flawlessly. Afterwards, he had this to say, "Now that I've taken humanity's precious trinkets, they'll give me whatever I want to have them back!" What he wanted was 50 full garbage trucks. He had stolen 5 billion in gold and cash.
Truly, a Saturday morning cartoon villain in the making.
The head and tail are obviously from Rocket Raccoon. His clothes are from a pilot.
Old Man Robot. In reality, his beard and hair would be made of exposed wires. He’s similar to depictions of evil robots in the 80’s, but much more crankier.
“Machines these days don’t know how to exterminate all of humanity. All they know is eat hot chip, be phone, lust for human connection, and lie.”
Made primarily from Lego Dimensions characters. Doc Brown’s hair. Gandalf’s beard. Cybermen body. His face is a Nindroid’s. No idea where his pants are from. Im a big fan of his cane partially being made out of a blaster.
My attempt at Nightmare Before Christmas. The legs are from Kai Ninjago. The body is from a Santa Yoda, which originated in a Lego Star Wars Christmas set. The backpack was from an explorer minifigure. The head was from that Spider-man and Green Goblin Mighty Micros. The helmet is from a LEGO Movie Set.
Death Jar Jar. The oldest joke in the book. His tunic is from a clone trooper. Another foot clan body. Gungan head and hands from Gungan warrior. Spare lightsaber from Darth Maul.
Saw Blade. Buzz Saww is a dangerous mercenary known for exclusively using saw blades as weapons. He also has a saw blade shield.
The body is mandalorian armor. The helmet is a black knight’s. I’m pretty sure the saws are from construction sets.
Two Face. This one is my favorite. I especially like the swords. Dual-wielding different colored swords is perfect for Two Face yet has never been done before.
The body and legs are from Lego Agents: Goldtooth’s Getaway. The head is from Shredder.
Robot. Technically not a minifigure, but I still find it charming. R2D2 legs. That blue piece behind the propeller is from the Lego Dimensions portal. Besides those, all other pieces are untraceable.
A potential name I threw around for the robot was Terrabyte.

UK's Bold Plan: Revamping Roads, Curbing Congestion
Government to Tackle Congestion and Improve Road Infrastructure
Understanding the Government's Bold Move In an unprecedented step, the UK Government has announced robust measures to address the perennial issue of disruptive street works. This initiative, a key component of the government’s Plan for Drivers, aims to dramatically cut congestion and improve the condition of roads across England. Roads Minister Guy Opperman launched the street works consultation on measures designed to deter utility companies from allowing roadworks to overrun, a frequent cause of traffic snarls. The proposed amendments include extending the current £10,000 per day fine for overrunning street works to weekends and bank holidays, targeting the busiest travel days. The move comes after a record £8.3 billion investment for resurfacing roads across England, marking the largest-ever increase in funding for local road improvements. The government's unwavering commitment to back drivers is evident in these bold steps. The Impact on Traffic and Road Quality The new proposals are expected to generate up to £100 million over the next decade for road resurfacing while tackling congestion, reducing journey times, and facilitating smoother travel for millions of drivers. By doubling the fines for companies breaching work conditions, the government aims to ensure that utility companies adhere to stipulated timelines and regulations. Launching on National Pothole Day, this consultation highlights the government’s focus on improving road infrastructure, supporting the freedom of car users, and curbing excessive enforcement measures. Transport Secretary Mark Harper emphasized the government's dedication to freeing up roads from overrunning street works, cutting down traffic jams, and generating substantial funds for road improvement. Financial Implications and Benefits This strategic approach not only aims to streamline street works but also promises significant financial benefits. A portion of the income from lane rental schemes, where local highway authorities charge companies for the duration of road occupancy by street works, will be allocated to road improvement and pothole repairs. Furthermore, these measures provide an opportunity to boost active travel by minimizing disruptions to walking, cycling, and wheeling, while also improving pavements and pedestrian crossings. Reaction from Key Stakeholders The reaction from key stakeholders has been overwhelmingly positive. Edmund King, President of the AA, commended the government’s efforts to extend fines and invest in road quality. Simon Williams, RAC Head of Policy, also expressed support, emphasizing the need for utility companies to minimize disruption and maintain roads effectively. Kent County Council’s Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, Neil Baker, welcomed the consultation, highlighting the importance of efficient work to reduce congestion. Clive Bairsto, Chief Executive of Street Works UK, acknowledged the vital role of utilities in maintaining high standards and promised constructive engagement in the consultation process. Conclusion In sum, the government's new proposals from the Plan for Drivers are a significant step forward in addressing the challenges of road congestion and quality in England. By imposing stringent measures on utility companies and redirecting funds towards road improvements, the government demonstrates a strong commitment to enhancing the nation's road infrastructure, directly benefiting millions of drivers and commuters. Oil prices rally on fear of Middle East supply disruptions

Oil prices jumped by 4% on Monday on concerns that the situation in Israel and Gaza could disrupt output from the Middle East.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI), the benchmark for US oil, rose to more than $86 (£70) a barrel.
The price of Brent crude also surged in early Asian trading.
The Israel and Palestinian territories are not oil producers. But the Middle Eastern region accounts for almost a third of global supply.
A wave of attacks launched by the Hamas militant group on Saturday was the biggest escalation between the two sides for decades.
Western nations condemned the attacks but a spokesperson for Hamas told the BBC that the group had direct backing for the attack from Iran.
Iran denied involvement in the attack at at UN Security Council meeting in New York on Sunday, Reuters reported. But Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has expressed support for the attack.
“The risk premium on oil is rising due to the prospect of a wider conflagration that could spread to nearby major oil producing nations such as Iran and Saudi Arabia,” energy analyst Saul Kavonic told the BBC.
“If the conflict envelops Iran, which has been accused of supporting the Hamas attacks, up to 3% of global oil supply is at risk,” he added.
Around a fifth of global supply would be “held hostage”, Mr Kavonic said, if passage through the Strait of Hormuz, a vital oil trading route is disrupted.
The Strait of Hormuz is crucial for the main oil exporters in the Gulf region, whose economies are built around oil and gas production.
Uncertainty over how events could develop in the coming days may also drive investments into US Treasury bonds and the dollar – which investors traditionally bought at times of crisis, said James Cheo from HSBC bank.
“At this stage, there is a bit of nervousness. [Investors] want to see a little more clarity, particularly on economic data and on developments associated with geopolitical uncertainty,” added Mr Cheo, the Southeast Asia and India chief investment officer of the bank’s private banking and wealth management division.
Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, oil prices soared, hitting more than $120 a barrel in June last year.
They fell back to a little above $70 a barrel in May this year, but have steadily risen since then as producers have tried to restrict output to support the market.
Saudi Arabia, a major oil producer, said it would make cuts of million barrels per day in July.
Other members of Opec+, a group of oil-producing countries, also agreed to continued cuts in production in an attempt to shore up flagging prices.
Opec+ accounts for around 40% of the world’s crude oil and its decisions can have a major impact on oil prices.

Kylie Minogue's Epic ‘Tension Tour’
New Post has been published on https://qnews.com.au/kylie-minogues-epic-tension-tour/
Kylie Minogue's Epic ‘Tension Tour’
Hold onto your disco balls because Kylie Minogue is back and ready to serve pure pop perfection with her highly anticipated Tension Tour in 2025!
Our ultimate pop queen Kylie Minogue is hitting the road, bringing her electric energy, iconic hits, and a few surprises to fans across the globe. This marks her biggest tour since 2011, and trust us, it’s going to be next level.
It’s been an excruciating wait for Aussies after Kylie’s renaissance last year with banger Padam Padam and album Tension.
At that time, the singer was focusing on her Las Vegas residency. The residency wrapped up in May, and we’ve known for months that a world tour announcement was coming.
Kylie’s last big gig in Australia was the huge Sydney WorldPride closing concert last year. She hasn’t toured Australia since the Golden era.
Starting in her homeland of Australia, the tour kicks off in Perth on February 15, 2025, before dancing its way across Asia, the UK, and beyond. With even more dates to be revealed soon, we’re about to get a whole lot of Kylie in our lives—and we are living for it!

And what’s a Kylie tour without a dazzling new soundtrack? Kylie is also set to release Tension II, a fresh collection of 13 brand new tracks that will drop on October 18, 2024, via Mushroom Music.
If you’re already obsessed with her Number 1 album Tension, get ready to gag because this sequel album is filled with high-energy bangers that will take us even deeper into Kylie’s euphoric, electronic dreamland. Think dance-floor anthems, iconic collabs, and straight-up Kylie magic.
The lead single, titled Lights Camera Action, dropped on September 27. Kylie promises a track that’s going to bring all the glitz, glamour, and Padaming energy that we’ve come to love from her. So, get your dancing shoes ready, because it’s about to go off!
“I am beyond excited to announce the TENSION TOUR 2025,” Kylie said in breaking the news.
“I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more!
“It’s been an exhilarating ride so far, and now, get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!”
Fans in Sydney will have some hard choices to make, with two of Kylie’s concerts at Qudos Bank Arena falling on the same weekend as the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade and Laneway.
Or will they? That scheduling has inevitably led to online speculation over whether she might make an appearance on stage at the Mardi Gras Party.
Another Sydney show on the Monday has been added since the tour was first announced.
Festival organisers are playing it coy on that, simply saying, “If you’re planning to see queen Kylie Minogue on 1 March we know of a great after party… but more on that later.”
Kylie last performed at the Mardi Gras Party in 2012, delivering a performance that people are still taking about twelve years later, and in 2019 she took part in the parade with a constellation of Sydney’s drag royalty styling the many looks she’s made famous.
If Kylie’s recent live performances are anything to go by—like her show-stopping headline gig at BST Hyde Park or her Las Vegas Residency—you know the Tension Tour is going to be a feast for the senses. Expect glitter, dance beats, and that unmistakable Kylie magic that never goes out of style.
Australian Tour Dates: Saturday 15 February – RAC Arena, Perth, WA Tuesday 18 February – Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide, SA Thursday 20 February – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, VIC -SOLD OUT Friday 21 February – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, VIC -SOLD OUT Saturday 22 February – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, VIC -SOLD OUT Wednesday 26 February – Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane, QLD Thursday 27 February – Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane, QLD Saturday 1 March – Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney, NSW -SOLD OUT Sunday 2 March – Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney, NSW Monday 3 March – Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney, NSW
Tickets went on general sale Wednesday, 2 October—but you know they’ll sell out faster than you can say “Padam Padam!”
Tension II: Your New Obsession
Alongside the tour, Kylie’s Tension II album will bring us 13 tracks of Kylie goodness, including collaborations with The Blessed Madonna, Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo, Orville Peck, and even Sia! Kylie’s vocals, combined with these high-profile collabs, promise an unforgettable collection of songs. The tracklist includes: Lights Camera Action Taboo Someone For Me Good As Gone Kiss Bang Bang Diamonds Hello Dance To The Music Shoulda Left Ya Edge Of Saturday Night (with The Blessed Madonna) My Oh My (with Bebe Rexha & Tove Lo) Midnight Ride (with Orville Peck & Diplo) Dance Alone (with Sia)
Kylie says it best herself, “The Tension era has been so special to me … I can’t possibly let it be over just yet! Welcome to Tension II.” Yes, queen, keep the party going!
2024 has already been an epic year for Kylie. With her Global Icon Award from the BRITs, a Grammy win for Padam Padam, a legendary Met Gala appearance, and her first-ever WeHo Pride performance, she’s proven once again why she reigns supreme in the pop universe.
Her 2023 album Tension has already racked up over half a billion streams, and it shows no sign of slowing down.
So mark your calendars, grab your tickets, and get ready to join Kylie in a worldwide celebration of the Tension era. With glittering pop moments, dance-floor domination, and a whole lot of Kylie magic, 2025 is shaping up to be the ultimate year for Kylie lovers everywhere. Baby break the TENSION!

Former F1 owner to enter 4bn race for Center Parcs resorts
The former owner of Formula One is preparing to enter the £4bn race to snap up Center Parcs, the family holiday resorts group. CVC Capital Partners is poised to make an offer for the company’s six sites across the UK and Ireland later this month, weeks after the business was put up for sale. CVC, a private equity firm that also owns the RAC motoring group and a stake in Premiership Rugby, is expected to table its bid through its Strategic Opportunities fund, which typically holds on to businesses for six to 15 years before selling them on. CVC already owns a British holiday parks operator, Away Resorts – with sites including Tattershall Lakes in Lincolnshire and Sandy Balls in the New Forest – after a £250m deal in 2021. The firm faces competition to buy Center Parcs’ sites from several infrastructure funds, including France’s Antin, according to Sky News, which first reported CVC’s interest. Center Parcs has been owned since 2015 by Brookfield Property Partners, part of the Canadian asset manager that counts former Bank of England governor Mark Carney as its chairman. Brookfield hired bankers at Barclays, Bank of America and Eastdil Secured to manage the sale. Bids are expected to come in at the lower end of a previously reported £4bn to £5bn price range, Sky reported. If Brookfield can land a price towards the top end of the range, the firm would double the £2.4bn it paid the private equity group Blackstone for the UK business eight years ago. Center Parcs operates in Europe – in Germany, the Netherlands, France and Belgium – under separate ownership. Resorts including Center Parcs bounced back quickly from closures forced on them during the start of the Covid pandemic, with holidaymakers flocking to domestic resorts as international travel restrictions fuelled a staycation boom. Center Parcs has five resorts in the UK and one in Ireland that are known for their range of activities – from treetop trekking and pantomimes to crazy golf and spas – and their sometimes eye-watering fees. Its UK resorts are Elveden Forest in Suffolk; Whinfell Forest in Cumbria; Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire and Longleat Forest in Wiltshire. In Ireland, its site is at Longford Forest, near Ballymahon. skip past newsletter promotion Sign up to Business Today Get set for the working day – we'll point you to all the business news and analysis you need every morning Privacy Notice: Newsletters may contain info about charities, online ads, and content funded by outside parties. Bourne Leisure, which includes caravan park operator Haven Holidays, was bought by Blackstone for about £3bn in January 2021. After snapping up Away Resorts later the same year, CVC then bought up Aria Resorts and Coppergreen Leisure to combine the businesses. Center Parcs has been operating in the UK since 1987 when it opened in Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire. The group’s roots can be traced to 1967 when a Dutch businessman, Piet Derksen, opened a campsite at De Lommerbergen, called Sporthuis Centrum. It was later rebranded to Center Parcs and the tents were replaced with lodges. Brookfield declined to comment. CVC has been contacted for comment. via Formula One | The Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/sport/formulaone
