Lately in the Sky CotL community I have noticed people have been having a hard time making the hair from the spirit of kindness to work. So I decided to challenge myself to make it work outside of chibi mask outfits ideas.

I managed to get it to work for one other mask! The days of fortune rabbit!

Here's two outfits that I did. Pairing a head accessory was hard but the ribbon from season of revival worked perfectly.

The lesson from this hair? Just because it doesn't looks good now doesn't mean it can't.

Something I love? The fact I learned randomly from a random YouTube short what Japanese kobolds look like and why they look like that. They look like dog people and it's because of a translation error in either 1e dnd. At the time 1e dnd kobolds looked far closer to their origin mythos point which is German mythology. But because the traditional German kobolds look far closer to goblins in 1e these suckers are described as goblins with dog-like noses to try and make them different from goblins. This was later changed starting in 2nd or 3rd edition dnd with the Races of the Dragon and Dragon Magic rule books dnd Kobolds became a lizard folk obsessed with becoming dragons.

Now another thing I love: lately I encountered a song called three kobolds in a trench coat. This song is animated showing current d&d kobolds.

My dumbass kept imagining the three kobolds of d&d world wide in a trench coat. So...

Love that Japan took the "dog like nose" of the original kobolds and mistranslated it as "dog people" with the old versions of DND, but I just WISH that these fluffy guys existed throughout the world because it was a wonderful oversight that happened. Just give them fleet of foot (35ft movement), small, +2 dex, keen senses that gives them advantage in a 60ft range for hearing & smell for the base. Subraces could have things like one that gives natural prof for medicine and a +1 wis, one that's good with shields by nature with +1 str, or one that's intimidating but makes their size tiny with a +1 cha! Hell there could be one with a cold resistance with a +1 to con!!! I want dog kobolds, they're freaking adorable!!!

Imagine a party going through a town with a tabaxi and leonin and they suddenly become on edge in a tundra town because the tavern keep is Samoyed humanoid being who is just completely unbothered. Or going through the desert temples at night to be mugged by a group of Chihuahuas! A knight on duty is just a humanoid German shepherd! A saint Bernard healing his group with some soup as his cure wounds!

Sitting in fear as I hope with the bottom of my heart that my future won't be stripped away from me in one night, that my rights as a human being aren't reverted to 1890 America, and that I can still make calls over my body and mind in terms of health. I lost my friend group, I lost my grandma, please don't take away my only hope of a future too.
