I'm in a polyamorous relationship with my two partners and while one of them is also poly the other is not

They and my poly girlfriend are best friends (who even live together without me) but I can't shake the feeling that my partner feels jealous and insecure with our relationship no matter how much assurance I give that regardless of how many people I love they will always be one of them

How do I help them feel more secure if they become clingy and feel threatened the moment I express even minor interest in someone aside from them or my girlfriend?

Any tips you could offer?

No easy answers that is for sure. I think what might be most effective is to have some dedicated time to discuss needs. Something similar to Multiamory's R.A.D.A.R. Planned out time while neither of you are currently in conflict.

Have them talk about what they need or desire to feel secure in the relationship. And then if it feels like they are getting that, maybe on a scale of sorts. Then talk about the amount of time/energy/etc you want to spend on girlfriend or other potential partners. Then how you can both balance all of it. I think when both of you say face-to-face on even footing what you want it is easier to figure fair compromises.

It is okay for it to be work in-progress. Schedule these kinds of meetings periodically to see how the scale shifts. As long as you are listening to their needs I think you will be fine.

18) Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process? How do you come up with titles?

Usually I title them after finishing. A lot of times it's based on what I was inspired by or listening to when I was writing. Almost always they're titled using song lyrics with 2 exceptions:

Ride the W.A.V.E is titled as such because a WAVE is a Woman Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service in the Navy in WWII, and Louis is a female member of the Navy in the present, but I liked the play on words. Then, the sequel is titled Under the R.A.D.A.R. to follow the play on words pattern, because she and Harry start sneaking around.

28) On average, how much writing do you get done in a day?

Not enough, ha. Burnout is very real. Lots and lots of ideas and prompts. If I am writing I try to do like an hour long writing sprint and that can be anywhere from 800-1,500 words for me.

69) What work of yours, if any, are you the most embarrassed about existing?

I'm not embarrassed about any of my work. Even the early stuff, but I didn't start writing fic until I was 26 and very much an adult. I also make it clear that it's my first fics. I think my growth is probably very clear, but there's nothing I would classify as embarrassing. I do have a couple of anon fics, but I privatize those for a specific reason. I happily share them when the questions comes up, or anyone who dms me.

My husband and I are new to polyamory, do you have any good resources you recommend to newbies?

My personal favorite book is The Smart Girl's Guide To Polyamory by Dedeker Winston. It is a highly underrated book.

But the real answer is a bit of everything. That book and more books are great. There a few polyamory podcasts that really helpful, I personally love Multiamory. I always recommend their episode on R.A.D.A.R. and The Triforce Of Communication. https://www.morethantwo.com/ is a website (along with a book) made by someone who isn't very liked or popular anymore by the community but many still find the website to be very helpful and useful. Joining the polyamory-orientated social media groups is really good. Especially the local ones! Finally those social media site along with Meetup.com there are often in-person polyamory meetups if in a big enough city.

All of these resources are great and everybody learns differently so some are more useful to some than others. Getting different viewpoints from different people is great. Even on my blog I express some opinions that other polyam people don't share so it is great to diversify.
