So tell me, how exactly do you get that smouldering look down so well?
@jeonephram
Junseo cocks an eyebrow. “And what smoulder is it that you’re talking about exactly? I know I’ve never used it on you before, Eph, so did I gain a reputation somewhere in the five days I’ve been around? As for how I’ve done it, well that’s a trade secret that I definitely won’t be spreading around,” he chuckles, looking smug at the end of his speech.

`desperate times
@doyeonrk
This had to be a joke. This had to be a cruel joke someone somewhere was pulling on him just for the comical expression on his face.
“I missed all of these vocabulary words?”
The list stared back at him unblinking, a glaring reminder of just how much school he’d missed in favor of the MGAs, which was even in addition to the days he missed weekly for training. Even with the paid tutoring the company provided, the free tutoring Doyeon was offering, and the bits and pieces he’d picked up from Sohee and Joey along the way, he was convinced he’d never, ever, in a million years, learn the one hundred and twenty-four vocabulary words and three grammar points he’d missed, let alone the entire English language.
“This is impossible,” he finally decided in a slight whine, after several moments of trying to decipher the intermediate-level sentence structure diagrams before him. He slumped in his chair, hopelessly mussing the hair at the back of his neck, ignoring the inevitable wrinkling of his neglected school uniform, and mumbling something about how he should’ve taken Mandarin instead.
“I’m going to fail again, I know it.”

ibsuga:
« Oh, look, I’ve been starving. » And despite sounding amused –almost as if what he just said is nothing but an exaggerate joke– it was kind of true that the former rapper of BTS hadn’t been eating. Or at least, not having a regular concept of meals, often being junk food barely stuffed in his mouth at 3am while composing.
« I’m fine, really. I just am tired due to my schedule. »
Jinwoo watched the other male with a worried expression as he spoke. It was obviously just by the way the other male spoke, that he really hadn’t consumed anything of substance. “Well you have come to the right place. Let me bring you something to eat” Jinwoo said, smiling softly at the other and before the other could protest, he disappeared into the back. He came back, carrying a tray of food and set it down on one of the tables. “You need to eat. You won’t be able to continue with your schedule if you look like the walking dead.”

Daesung stared in the mirror before his eyes shifted to Dara in the glass, not that she could tell since his eyes were literally buried under all that hair. “It’s really not that bad.” He laughed, trying hard to blow his bangs upwards and out of his face, to no avail. Spinning around in his chair to face her, he stuck out his bottom lip in a playful pout. “How noticeable would it be if I cut just a few more centimeters off? ….Then again I wouldn’t be able to do this?!” He found his center parting and gripped his bangs each side, quickly pulling them open like a curtain and shrieking. “Peek-a-boo, Dara Noona.”
Looking at Daesung through the mirror, her eyebrows furrows in distaste at the sight of the latter’s hairstyle. It feels like the longer she stares at it, the dissatisfaction she has for it gets stronger. Sandara had a handful of crazy hairstyles in her time but this—this one has to take the cake. “Daesungie, it’s uh-- pretty bad. Aigoo, how can you even see underneath all that curtain of hair? It’s like an upgraded version of a mushroom cut.” She says, slightly scrunching her eyes and as the man did a trick with his bangs, Sandara immediately bursts into small fits of laughter. “Okay.. okay.” She mutters in between her giggles. “I’ll have to say, that was good and.. at least, you have found a perk of having that kind of hairstyle.”

Shopping || JongBaek
Jongin sat on the right side of the car in back, right side of his body relaxing against the door while his left side was pressed close to Baekhyun, one hand on the elders thigh as they talked. They were going on a shopping trip somewhere in Seoul, wanting to get away from the dorm and just hang with each other for a little bit. Though this was a little more than just a shopping trip.
"Where do you wanna go first?"
His voice is soft, lips in a soft smile as he addressed the boy next to him. He had turned his head in his direction when he'd spoken, and his eyes were overlooking the others face. It never ceased to surprise him just how gorgeous the older boy was. He bit his lip, leaning in to press a soft kiss to his cheek as he waited for his response.

+ { ❝ -- There’s never a need to change; keeping life constant is how Bora lives. The same make up, the same look, and definitely the same radiant smile. There was no need to waver, no need to stand out from the norm. Something regular, like a victory. The girl that stood in high heels, strutting through the airport with a swarming of screaming fans, yeah-- she always wins. If she had to pull a few hairs and step on a few toes, she would. The only thing that matters at the of the day was the title and bragging rights of winning; }
{ ❝ -- Her heels clicked on the marble floor, with her glasses shielding her eyes from the sun rays and flashing cameras. Her feet were on autopilot with her steps all the way to the entrance of Narita International Airport, having been there once or twice. When more fans caught sight of her, the screams got louder and was even approached by some. She didn’t think much of the matter and carried on in front of the entrance and getting surrounding fans; }
{ ❝ -- Getting besieged by fans was a given when out in public but one female caught her attention. The shorter female didn’t carry a camera nor a poster with Bora’s name plastered on it. This female had a dull look with a murderous aura while shoving to get her way in front of the idol. With a huge smile, she happily pulled out her silver metallic sharpie and signed the eagering fan’s cheek as a prize for her dedication. One autograph after another, she signed a bunch with huge smiles for the selcas. The short female stood still without squirming at all. Bora assumed it was from shock but apparently she’d learn that it was quite the opposite. Being the angel Bora was, she attempted some japanese, saying a simple; } “Anata wa tottemo kawaii desu”, { ❝ -- sweetly yet hesitantly; }
{ ❝ -- For a few moments, Bora’s mind wandered away from the thought of victory which drove her insane. A small grunt escaped under her breath as she turned her head in different directions. The only thing given to her were some useless books, easily accessible with her phone, a key, and her partner’s information. What was her name again-- ugh; } “RILEY?”, { ❝ -- the female spoke in the crowd, hoping to get through the fan’s screams and catch the attention of her partner. She looked in front of her again, wanting to advance forward but only to see the short female still staring at her. Her brows knitted a tight line as she tried to understand why the female hasn’t moved a pinky. Her eyes glanced up and down to see a small passport in her hand with her ticket pointing out still. ‘Jung Eunji’, ‘Incheon Airport to Narita International Airport’; }
Well, found her.

Office Idleness | adustumrequiem
Havoc was completely leaned back in his seat in the empty office, ignoring all paperwork that was on his desk...and well, under his feet that were propped up there. He had to fill out a report about a minor riot he had broken up, but was more focused on blowing rings of smoke into the air. He definitely gave the Colonel a run for his money when it came to slacking off.

Knock Knock
@aegyon
It had been a great night for Junseo, now that he had been getting to know some people from the clubs he tended to hang around, others who danced, other guys like him. A few had decided to show him the town, and he’d traipsed after them, accepting the many shots poured down his throat, maybe a pill, too, he couldn’t really remember, but things weren’t more fantastical than usual, so maybe not. One of the guys, Hyo-something, had declared they should all go back to his place and wind down with some soju before they all crashed there.
He’d given them all his address in case the group got separated, which they had, lingering to watch girls or guys pass, distracted by something in a closed store window. But Junseo had managed to hang on to at least two group members and they had tumbled out of the last subway to the neighborhood around two in the morning, laughing and shushing each other as they stumbled into the building once their host buzzed them in.
For some ridiculous reason they were taking the stairs rather than an elevator and Junseo had to pause for breath, staring up at the ceiling so the room would stop spinning a bit. Clearly the blurred hours of so many drinks had not yet worn off. When he looked down again, the other two were gone, laughing as they climbed higher. Junseo laughed as well and called to them to wait. They just laughed harder and told him to hurry up. Junseo tried to take the stairs two at a time, laughing and breathless, or laughing because he was breathless. He heard a door to a hallway slam, and when he reached the landing it seemed to come from he yanked the door open, breath finally coming back to him.
Not to worry, he’s sure he remembered the apartment number. 4, 4, was there something in front of it? Definitely a zero, but, oh there it was! Junseo grinned to himself, tripping on his feet a bit and landing against the door with a laugh, not noticing that it and the whole floor were rather quiet. He knocked loudly and paused, then did it again, trying to quell his laughter.

`against the world
it’s only when they’re picking micro-trash up off of the venue floor, folding up the tablecloth, gathering pens and photobooks, consolidating fan gifts and handing them over to the members, that it hits him. it’s all over now. two weeks of preparation, one night of performing, one promotional single, a torturous taste of the idol life that he still hasn’t been able to grab a hold of. everything he’s ever wanted was his for two weeks. two whole weeks. and now it’s back to windowless practice rooms and pining after the future he’s not even sure will be his.
the room was emptied of fans long ago and already it feels way bigger than it had before. it’s bigger and he feels smaller and he’s back to being just ricky. not ricky of team nova, not ricky of the mga’s, just ricky. he wonders how long it’ll take for obscurity to swallow him whole again, how long it’ll be before he’ll spend extended periods of time questioning how he was able to forgive seokjin so easily, as if they’re actually friends, how long it’ll be him against the world again without a team to be a part of, to support, to lead.
he doesn’t cry, because that would be dumb. he’s perfectly happy, because they’ve just wrapped up a fansigning, they’ve just performed a single last on inkigayo, they’ve just won the mga’s and landed briefly in a nationwide spotlight big enough for the four of them. he’s living his dream, even if that dream is ending now, ending in a four-walled airport conference room with hideous carpeting and black-clad staff milling about clearing it until it’s spotless.
someone ushers him out of the room behind wendy and mijoo with a hand on his back, his arms stuffed with the handful of gift bags he’d acquired throughout the day. he goes quietly, but he doesn’t want to, and as much as he enjoys slipping into one of those big vans with tinted windows meant only for idols, his heart still sinks, because he knows that this is the last time for a while, maybe forever if he’s incredibly unlucky (or incredibly inadequate), that he’ll experience life like this, just like he’s always wanted.

misterxbrightside replied to your post “The nurse in the ambulance took the boy's phone from his jacket and quickly called the number for "speed dial", while the doctor next to her, was trying to get Seungri back in conscious. As soon as she heard that someone picked up, she blurred out. "Hello? Am I speaking to a friend or family, of the owner of this phone?”
The boy was taken in the emergency room as he got a throe in on the way to the hospital. Half an hour later, they stabilized his condition and took him to a single room, where he was left still unconscious. His clothes left on a chair in the room.
It takes him around twenty minutes to arrive at the hospital and rush to the reception to ask about his neighbour. The older sighs few times as he looks into the room while listening to the nurse explaining the condition of the younger. He enters the room after bowing to the nurse and stares at the body lying on the bed for a while. He decides to call the younger's best friend but ends up cursing under his breath when he recalls that he doesn't have it.

He sighed, dramatically lowering his head and making a long pause before answering her question; one which he feared of course, but no matter how hard he tries to put on the ‘cold boy’ image, he’s actually too nice for his own kind. He wants to say no honestly, because he doesn’t know if he can resists to watch this animation for the third time. Third time in just one day - and he’s barely capable of watching one movie per week. “Why don’t we… try something else? I know you like it very much. And I cannot believe someone finally convinced me to watch Frozen—- but it’s evening already”, he stared down at his mobile screen, “it was a day full of… whatever the movie is about. Sorry, two times and I still don’t understand the plot.” He exhaled sharply, eyes focused ahead on the TV’s screen at the playing credits. “Okay—- one more time.” With a defeated sigh, he handed her the DVD’s remote, to which the older female excitedly threw her hands in the air. In less than a minute the beginning credits were rolling before his eyes again and all he could was to lean back and hug his own cushion.
Slumped down on the couch, a displeased expression was now etched on the woman’s features in result of trying to reasonwith her younger companion on watching her most favorite animated film with herfor the nth time, hoping that Taehyun would understand the amazing and touching story in the film like she does. She’s been pleading him since the ending credits started rolling and so far, there has been no luck.
‘Alright, one more try..’ She thought to herself, determined to make him watch Frozen again this time. Perhaps, she could use her ‘puppy eyes’ on him and add a little pout. Yeah, that’s it.
As she opens her mouth to say something, the man finally agreed to her request and her frown was instantly replaced with a wide grin. “Yes!” Sandara threw her hands in the air with an ecstatic high-pitched squeal escaping through her lips.With a cheeky grin plastered on her lips, she settled herself into a comfortable position next to the man before she pressed the play button on the remote allowing the film to play its opening scene. “There was another movie I had in mind but uhh-- I don’t think you would want to watch it at this time of day..” She said, her eyes fixated on the tv screen.

Edward blushed as he tried to get back up. His knees were scraped up pretty badly from the fall but luckly nothing was broken. ” I’m alright miss. Don’t worry about me.. I get pushed around all the time.”
"All the time?" She pressed her lips together in a small frown, extending her right hand - the right arm being made of automail - offering to help him up since he looked to be struggling a bit. "Here just let me help," she persisted stubbornly, as the fall looked to be a bad one and she knew her own fair share of bad falls.

█ ░ : // The End ▬
With a head hung low, a female’s petite figure seem to have wandered within the fog. While at this time, most were deep asleep and escaping from reality, her only desire was to escape from her dream land. Her make up was slaughtered with all of the rain and the masked tears along with multiple layers that caught those to soak in.
Her legs crossed naturally on the bench where her stockings hit the cold atmosphere for the early dawn morning. There she waited for the sun for some comfort and warmth. She stared out into the water where hundreds have died innocently. If she could’ve traded her life with theirs, she would jump right in. Her eyes watered but she paid no attention with her arms wrapped around her body. She didn’t dare to breathe or make a sound, feeling as if she wasn’t worthy to. With her new acting schedule, she seemed to always be awake and about but slowly her body dragged and struggled to maintain her cheerful image.
A foot in in front of the other, her heels clicked against the pavement as she walked towards the railing of the river. Staring out and saying her quick prayers to her dad and those who left with their souls. Her eyes tightly shut and then squeezed out the remaining tears left.
❝ I’m sorry. ❞
She let out, in thought of another. It’s been a good 24 hours without any sobs and so when the vulnerability seeped in, the thought of him did too. Her knees weakened and there she was in a fetal position, standing on top of a wet cement. She took in a breath to calm herself but with the exhale came a cry. She bit the inside of her cheek to keep her sounds from escaping. The tears naturally flowed down her cheek onto her sleeve that she laid on. She honestly didn't know anyone she could cry in front of aside from her dad. With his sudden disappearance, she never knew how to go about at life.
Before she knew it, she heard sounds of others approaching. She quickly got up, wiped all of her tears, and walked away. She was still an idol and she never allowed her image to break away from what's believed. Her arm waved for a taxi as she pulled her hood up at the end of the street. Her gaze wandered right and left with the luggage in her hands. A taxi finally spotted a lone female on the corner who waved furiously to get some attention in the fog. When it pulled up, her hand rushingly guided to the car’s door handle and pulled it harshly, getting in without another thought. “Gimpo Airport, please drive slowly.” She pleaded with her shaken voice that needed a bit of eye-sighting before her farewell.
A vibration stole her attention ten minutes within the car trip, and there she sat staring at it. For some reason, looking at the technology brought up memories that used to cause bright butterflies but it quietly burned up in ash. Her tearing unknowingly escaped and landed on the screen of the phone. With all of the courage she could have, she turned it on and easily went to the setting’s page; where with two clicks, every message, call log, and picture would easily be erased. The girl used to spend hours just staring at this same page aimlessly, wanting to press ‘ok’ but soon cowardly hid whenever her finger hovered over it. But this time, she had no thought about it. She threw it to the side, allowing for the taxi driver, or even the next passenger to happily get a used gift.
No one knew about this ‘goodbye’. Signs could’ve been read but with her toxic mental state, logic was never in the question. She left enough financial money for her family to survive and promised to constantly add more at her new destination. Her company would either rip apart her contract or order a new search team and possibly charge her own family with a fine but her lawyer was on that issue. As for her friends, if they were close enough, they knew she’d reach them when she needed them. Everything was set, as if this escape was planned months ago.
Everything will be erased, along with the memory of me.

Suspicions | Yunho and Junho
Junho sighed as he made his way to the elevators of the Four Suits, flashing his card to the elevator operator before stepping inside. His shift was over early before it was even 8 at night all because the boss man called him into his office. And thanks – for Yunho – that it was slow enough to steal him from the floor. But he figured that he should at least be grateful to be spared from a painstakingly dead night…even if he had to listen to the boss most likely chew him out for a reason he didn’t know. He stuffed his card back into his pocket as they arrived on the top floor, exiting to find Yunho’s office. He pursed his lips as he hesitated a moment before sighing again and knocking on the door. “It’s Junho. You wanted to see me?”
