There's this subreddit called "r/gatekeepingyuri" that takes memes (usually by conservatives or radfems, but every now and then you get a plain old “Virgin vs. Chad” meme) that pit two types of people against each other and the subreddit instead ships them and it’s honestly a lot of fun.

For example: Say there’s a conservative meme that’s all like “men then vs men now” and it’s trying to frame 50s men as superior to modern men.

r/Gatekeepingyuri takes that meme and draws shipping fanart of the two men and shows them being loving and supportive of each other’s lifestyles.

10/10 subreddit, would recommend.

Another gatekeeping comic turned wholesome for Reddit! I remember seeing the original one constantly being edited, but never the OG, so I had to take this opportunity!

I thought I would turn this into a classic childhood friends to lovers trope. Two girls were best friends as kids, they were very similar as rowdy messy little tikes, but as time went on their interests and styles changed.

But instead of drifting apart, they both spent more time together, and realised they both had fallen in love with each other, and they're dating now!

These two ended up way cuter than I thought, I really like them and I hope yall do too!
