You know before I don't know a single thing about muslim but damn when i read chapter 8 i learn a lotttttt
ahhh im so glad <3 i recently started reading a couple of novels that changed my perspective of how I view Islam and i was like- i gotta do that as well. so, here's to me trying <33 because there's SO MANY interesting stuff in Islam and stories especially, and ughhhh it wasnt until like i graduated that i started to develop a more keen interest in learning more about islam and i started realising just how soft this religion is. How the west has brainwashed into thinking that Islam is extremism and harmful and yadda yadda but like the more i think about it, more i read about it, the more I realise how Allah's commands is so many blessings in disguise. once u start reading Quran, once u start learning about Islam, you'll actually see your life transform for good. Im not kidding. You'll see those blessings, you'll see that one issue that just wouldnt be solved no matter what u did, suddenly be taken care of out of the blue. And most importantly, you'll learn to have tawakul (which is "put trust in Allah's plan" and "rely on Allah for everything") and then you'll have sabr (which is "patience") so even when things seem like they dont work out the way u wanted them to, you'll not be stressed about it. You'll mentally be relaxed. Trust in Allah's plan, give yourself to Him and so if u dont get your desired outcomes for a problem, rest assured- you'll be immensely blessed by Allah in the hereafter. And imagine Allah, the Creator, the King of all kings, being the one who rewards you. Surely, His reward will not leave you disappointed or unsatiated.
“Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without measure."  Surah Az-Zumar (39:10)
Sometimes I wanna talk about the Asma-ul-Husna (99 names of Allah) so you guys will know just how great and generous Allah is. Those names are actually His attributes, they speak of His relation with man and all His creations. They help you understand Him better and im ngl, they actually do bring this comfort to the soul.
you guys WILL LOVE Islamic stories and history and Allah being- Allah. Even His blessings, his rewards in this world and in heaven are literally so amazing, but most importantly, His mercy. Like Allah knows how to humble us, for our own good. He knows how to keep us in our limits, how to keep us in our boundaries, for our own safety. Maybe I'll expand on this bit someday.

One lesser-known aspect of the Quran is its emphasis on knowledge and scientific inquiry. The Quran encourages the pursuit of knowledge and reflection on the natural world, which is evident in several verses. Here are some points highlighting this aspect:
1. **Encouragement of Knowledge and Learning**: The Quran repeatedly emphasizes the importance of knowledge. For instance, the first word revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was "Iqra," which means "Read" or "Recite." This is found in Surah Al-Alaq (96:1-5), which starts with, "Read in the name of your Lord who created."
2. **Reflection on Nature**: The Quran contains numerous verses that urge believers to observe and reflect on the natural world. Surah Al-Imran (3:190) states, "Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding."
3. **Scientific Phenomena**: The Quran mentions various natural phenomena and encourages contemplation of these signs. For instance:
- **Astronomy**: Surah Al-Anbiya (21:30) mentions, "Do not the disbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were a closed-up mass, then We opened them out?" This is often interpreted as a reference to the Big Bang theory.( Allah knows if big bang theory is true and legit)
- **Embryology**: Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:12-14) describes the development of the human embryo in stages, which has been found to align with modern embryological knowledge.
4. **Oceans and Deep Seas**: Surah An-Nur (24:40) describes the depths of the oceans, mentioning the darkness found there, a phenomenon that was unknown to people at the time. It states, "Or [they are] like layers of darkness within an unfathomable sea which is covered by waves, upon which are waves, over which are clouds."
5. **Water Cycle**: The Quran also describes aspects of the water cycle. Surah Az-Zumar (39:21) says, "Have you not seen that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs in the earth?"
The Quran is full of wisdom but we must understand it by doing justice with the Quran by reading it everyday with the intention to please Allah

نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ
Verses like this نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ is mentioned many times in the Quran. Showing us how Allah is the ultimate provider, alleviating our fears of poverty and needs.
In Surah Al-An'am (6:151), Allah tells us “We provide for you and for them.” This assures us that Allah cares for us and our loved ones, even in our upmost times of fear.
Surah Al-Hijr (15:20) Allah says: “And We made in it means of sustenance for you and others, who you do not provide for.” The world’s resources are gifts from Allah to support our lives.
Surah Al-Isra (17:31) comforts us with: “We provide for them and for you.” Here, Allah calms our worries about provision for our children.
In Surah Ta-Ha (20:132), Allah advises: “We ask you not for provision; We provide for you. and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness” This teaches us to rely solely on Him for all our needs while focusing on worship and prayer to guide us to righteousness.
Surah Al-Ankabut (29:60) reflects: “How many are the creatures that cannot secure their provisions! ˹It is˺ Allah ˹Who˺ provides for them and you ˹as well˺. He is indeed the All-Hearing, All-Knowing” This reminds us that Allah sustains all creatures, great and small.
Surah Ar-Rum (30:40) states: “It is Allah Who created you, then bestowed upon you your sustenance, and He will cause you to die and then bring you back to life.” It highlights Allah’s care from creation through all stages of life.
In Surah Az-Zumar (39:52), we read: “Do they not know that Allah gives abundant or limited provisions to whoever He wills? Surely in this are signs for people who believe.” This tells us that Allah is in control of wealth according to His wisdom.
Surah Adh-Dhariyat (51:57) reassures: “I seek no provision from them, nor do I need them to feed Me.” Allah provides for everyone without needing anything from His creation. We need Allah. He does not need us.
Surah Al-Mulk (67:15) invites us: “He is the One Who smoothed out the earth for you, so move about in its regions and eat from His provisions. And to Him is the resurrection ˹of all˺.” It encourages exploring the earth and enjoying its fruits as a sign of His provision. His blessings.
These beautiful verses collectively remind us that Allah provides for all of our needs, guiding us to trust in His eternal care because, نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ it is He who will provide for us…

I was wondering if you ever had days when your heart feel closed and that you are committing sins and you are aware of it and somehow .... its so normalised that you can't repent and when you do you sin over and over... I feel as of there is a barrier between Allah and me and I feeling the verse of yhe Quran that once said " that their hearts grew hard as the stones"... do you know of a wag to help me overcome that... like a book , a short video or something ...
It’s completely normal to experience days when your heart feels closed and the weight of repeated sins seems overwhelming. No muslim is perfect. Our Imaan fluctuates all the time.
Sins are like shackles that prevent your from obeying Allah as befits Him جل جلاله
Shaytaan enters from the weakest points in our Imaan. Shaytaan keeps telling us that we are not worthy of Allah’s love due to our sins. And convinces us that we are far from being pious so we don’t have to try any harder to perform Ibadah.
Shaytaan creates all these illusions, so you must not let it in, and shield yourself with Allah’s love, and that’s where your strength will be revived.
Allah says:
"Say, 'O My servants who have harmed yourselves by your own selves, do not despair of Allah's mercy. Allah forgives all sins. He is truly the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" (Surah Az-Zumar, 39:53).
I hope this Ayah could provide comfort and hope. It reminds us that no matter how many sins we have committed, Allah’s mercy is greater and encompasses all. It encourages us to turn to Him with hope and trust in His boundless forgiveness. This loneliness you’d feel when you sin, is a reminder that you need your true solace.. Allah.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
"The one who repents from sin is like the one who has no sin." (Ibn Majah)
This hadith reassures you of the boundless mercy of Allah. No matter how many times we sin, true repentance can erase those sins and restore us to a state of purity. Keep your tongue busy with Istighfar, and remember that no muslim is perfect, we all have our ups and downs, and remember that Allah loves when His servant repents, no matter how many times you sin, Allah still loves it when you ask for forgiveness.
For further guidance and deeper understanding of the heart’s purification and the process of repentance, I recommend reading “Al-Da’a wa Al-Dawa’a" by Ibn Al-Qayyim. This book provides profound insights into overcoming spiritual barriers and fostering a stronger connection with Allah.
The one thing you should not do, is to despair of Allah’s mercy.. He is The All-Merciful.

Death Verses in the Quran: Understanding Life and the Afterlife
The Quran addresses life, death, and the afterlife in profound ways, offering guidance, reminders, and reflections about the temporary nature of this world. Death verses in the Quran serve as a reminder of the inevitable reality that every soul will face, urging believers to live righteously and prepare for the eternal life to come.
Key Death Verses in the Quran
Surah Al-Imran (3:185): "Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your full compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained his desire. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion?" This verse emphasizes the certainty of death and the importance of striving for Paradise, reminding believers of the fleeting nature of worldly pleasures.
Surah Al-Ankabut (29:57): "Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned." This verse reiterates that death is a universal truth, and all creation will ultimately return to Allah for judgment.
Surah Az-Zumar (39:42): "Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die during their sleep. Then He keeps those for whom He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who give thought." This verse reflects on Allah's power over life and death, urging believers to reflect on His sovereignty.
Surah Al-Mulk (67:2): "He who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deed—and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving." This verse highlights the purpose of life and death as a test for humanity, encouraging believers to focus on righteous deeds.

R e l i g i o u s M u s i n g s
Say, ‘O My slaves who have committed excesses against their own souls, despair not of Allah’s mercy. Verily, Allah forgives all sins.74 Indeed, He is the All-forgiving, the All-kind. - Az-Zumar 39:53
Does Allah/God see as "slaves?
That was the first thought that entered my mind, when first reading the surah. To be honest, I was taken aback. I, myself have never experienced god in such a way, and I certainly couldn't get behind a god that sees me as such. And so, once again I put the Quran away, in anger. That was until, I happened upon a creator who brought me back to reason.
He pointed out, that to truly understand the quran, is a hard achieved task without knowledge of the language. And since that surah still danced in the shadows of my mind. I knew turning to the original text in arabic was the only way. Only problem, I don't speak Arabic.
I did however find a couple of english-written sources, that explained that that "slaves" was a poor translation error. The translations is of 2 possible words; Abd عبد or Iban عباد. Words I am lead to believe, have more meanings than english can express in one word. They mean more than "slave" or "servant", rather a mix of
slaves + servants + lovers + worshippers + loyals + Obedient + believer + faithful and more
Essentially subordinate worshippers of Allah.Out of awe, reverrance maybe? I am not sure. Never grasped why religion believes in practised worship in the way they do. Is it not enough to live your life acknowledging Allah/God, expressing gratitude for the experience given to you by simply living righteously. Aren't good deeds in the name of Allah/God a form of worship.
