“Chara’s the villain” “Chara’s the good guy” or perhaps Chara is meant to reflect the player in a similar way to Flowey, maybe you being meant to project your own name onto them but them still having their own true name shows that you can be similar but never the same. Flowey can access the files and Chara can deliver killing blows (theoretically, since you don’t manually deliver the hits on Sans or Flowey in Genocide) but ultimately you have the most power and neither of them can do anything about it. Flowey mistakes you for Chara in every route and not just the genocide route and I think that’s important. Flowey and Chara and you all watch over Frisk’s adventure with at least some influence and I think that’s important too. Chara could’ve had Frisk’s story of fulfilling the Delta Rune but came at the wrong time. Idk if it’s just me but I always get anxiety anytime I search Elvis on TikTok and Twitter..

i know i've said this, but i don't use the clock app ever because everything about it is anxiety-ridden and terrible to me (no matter what interest it is), i only get the benefit of cute tiktoks shared on other platforms without ever seeing the actual hellscape that exists there. so i can't really help because i remain blissfully unaware of their brand of discourse and don't fully understand how the site works or recs you posts. twitter i've only encountered a negative thing once (and it was the tired very easily disprovable if you do three minutes of research thing about his music), but i also don't tread into the hashtags often, i stick to my very curated timeline. i know there's been a bunch of misplaced disparagement on there of two of my other faves who've been celebrated lately, and i feel so lucky that i've seen none of it. the meanspirited or incorrect takes tend to become echo chambers and we just have to avoid the noise. i think the best thing to do is find accounts you enjoy and that share content you like that you know are respectful and rooted in fact, and stay more away from the wild of searches (or when toxic/hateful and untrue things do pop up, block liberally). which i know is really hard sometimes, especially when you are curious and want to find worthwhile things! but you don't deserve to feel anxious and upset over something that makes you happy, especially when the vast majority of the negative stuff in his case is unfounded/fabricated/exaggerated. there are countless people who respect and love him and i promise that outshines anything else.
