As they say, Fuck it, we ball.
Last time we saw into our future, I told you the Tale of Tasha. But the thing is, I never finished the timeline. I've yet to tell you about the final age of humanity. The Omni Age. First, I'll tell you how it began.
Warp travel works by warping space. So, to use the rubber sheet metaphor, when you stretch a rubber sheet for a while, it permanently deforms. This manifested in the universe as stretches in space where you would go faster than if you didn't go through there. For our purposes, we'll call them Cracks. Cracks started forming late in the High Space Age, more specifically the routes where hauler ships went most often. Scientists quickly learned that these Cracks were formed by warp travel, and they decided to do an experiment. If extended warp travel permanently deforms spacetime, then what happens when these Cracks get too deep? I'll say what happens, it makes a hole in the rubber sheet that is spacetime. Scientists only found it out after 50 years, and that is because they saw it happen. They made a hole. It wasn't like a black hole, nor was it like a white hole. There was no singularity to speak of. It was more like a portal than anything we've seen thus far. So somebody threw a camera in there to see what there was. Suprisingly, the camera could still send video. And that was the first case of Exposure to True OmniSpace Syndrome, or ETOSS for short. I'll tell you the symptoms after I tell you what an "omnispace" even is, let alone why exposure to it's true form is a plague.
Little did they know, these scientists were the first to discover Omnispace. Now, I have to clarify a few things first.
This world is in a multiverse. It's full of bubble universes, where each universe is a bubble in an infinite* sea of them. *omnispace may seem infinite, but it's actually finite, albeit bigger than human comprehension.
In omnispace, the laws of physics are actually a placebo, so if you think that e=mc^3, then it will be that way in some sort of radius (this is also malleuable via the placebo).
If you see omnispace without a placebo applied, like through a camera, then you will get ETOSS.
Now let's go over the symptoms of ETOSS. When you see omnispace without a placebo applied, it transfers to you. It then puts you into a coma. During this coma, brainscans reveal that the fear and confusion parts of the brain are the most stimulated. It's a game of chance if you survive this coma. Those that do survive (which are only 40% of those infected), often kill themselves shortly after. Do NOT ask those patients why, as that's another mode of transmission for the plague. If intercepted in time (or if they don't even try to kill themselves), therapy can and will help with their condition. Those infected, sadly, will never fully recover, and may even go into suicidal relapses.
For a hundreds of years, **Omnispace** was the final frontier. People colonized hundreds of universes, and all was good. Hell, someone named Sheeana Dubois discovered a more potent source of energy than even antimatter factories. (It'll get it's own post).
But then people started to run out of room. There was still thousands of universes out there, but none of them were habitable. So they built omnispace stations. And kept building them. This is when the age splits. We now enter the Late Omni Age, defined by humans losing their humanity, and the grand city of Omnitropolis (please give name suggestions I know it's a bad name and that's why it needs to be changed). For sixty-five million years, humanity kept building up this grand city. They even destroyed universes to make room for it.
Little by little, humans forgot about the Placebo, because they made a device to keep physics in place. It was derived from other humans, who were bred (and modified) to be constantly thinking about our laws of physics. After just a couple of centuries, it could think of nothing else. And after a couple thousand years, nobody even **knew** that it was once a person. It could only be thought of as a "physics anchor".
Unmodified humanity changed too. Or maybe I should put that "unmodified" in quotes, to show that they were modified also. These humans knew that evolution would change them, so they did all they could to stay the same. They did plastic surgeries and GMO's galore, yet they still changed. They would become, uncanny to us today. Which is why their scientific name (by me) is Homo Sapiens Homunculus. It is that way because they tried so hard to retain their humanity, that they lost it near entirely. They look like what a shapeshifter from andromeda (the galaxy) would imagine humans to look like.
I'll talk about the end of humanity later, as this post was written in the course of >2 hours, and I'm tired of it. Questions are appreciated though! Please, I want to talk about it more.

I am in a ramble mood about Moonflower Cookies magic. Well, a late night ramble…
Below I put in anatomical context to how magic is normally processed in the body and the ingredient that truly brings a Cookie to life. This contest came from a Google doc I am working on that outlines a Cookies anatomy according to my headcanons.
The Mana-Threads (Mana-T)
Within these threads of magic that make up the brain is something called ‘The Mana-Threads (Mana-T)’. This is the magical center of a Cookie. The Mana-T runs right next to any Magic-Threads within the Cookies body.
This is where a Cookie’s magic is processed, all spells or otherwise that a Cookie uses is passed through here. This includes how outside spells and magic may affect the Cookie.
Life Essence
Life Essence is a mystery ingredient in every Cookie and living creature on Earth Bread, it is responsible for giving life to Cookies in the first place. Due to the amount of m-threads (magic threads) a Cookie is made out of, a Cookie is packed with Life Essence. There is no way to replace any Life Essence that has been lost.
Every part of a Cookie contains life essence, in certain practices. Strawberry jam is used to file magic artifacts.
Like stated before, Moonflower Cookie has a resistance towards the effects of the black pool magic (which is heavily corrosive and damaging to organic life, or more specifically, anything with Life Essence). Moonflower doesn’t have a soul jam nor anything of similar light magic potency. She simply has a abnormally low amount of Life Essence, way below the standards for a Cookie.
There are different kinds of life essence, to bake a Cookie (even with the help of the witches) it takes a very special type of baking flour which is difficult to get large amounts of (you can typically only get enough for one Cookie which is why twins are really, really rare…). In a Cookies case, to utilise any other life essence brought in by ingredients like berries or whatever, it needs baking flour to process it. A Cookies body without baking flour simply cannot utilise life essence from other ingredients.
In short, Moonflower Cookie literally has the bare minimum of life essence needed to live. This could be part of the reason why she is prone to crumbling, injury and other things but we’ll see on that.
It’s time to talk about Moonflowers magic.
Her Mana-T doesn’t function properly at all. Like states previously, if she tries using a good amount of it… It becomes basically a pin point laser of extreme heat that does not do what the original spell wanted. She has the ability to store and amplify magic from other Cookies or creatures, but even this stored magic becomes unstable when it enters her body. The only exception being the Black Pool Magic.
This is because the Overseer (or the Thousand Eyes) provides a stable conduit to allow Moonflower to use the Black Pool Magic without it becoming highly unstable like it normally would without it.
If you’re questioning why the Overseer cannot provide a conduit for all types of magic instead of only the Black Pool Magic… Perhaps it is intentional on its part. Who knows ;)
I am becoming sleepy again… But, I might make a more polished version of this ramble some other time going into more detail.
If you have questions, ask away!

How did A-yuan celebrate Mother's Day with his honorary mother, Wei Wuxian?
He already has a (grand)mother to celebrate!
#poorly drawn mdzs#ask#mdzs#a-yuan#granny wen#Truly no fault on the question asker here - I am just not one who subscribes to WWX and LWJ being 'parental' figures to A-Yuan.#(Emphasis on *personally* here-) Personally I am more intrigued by the unique dynamics they have.#It's not defined by usual family dynamics and I think that was the point.#He's a kid who was raised by his grandmother (Or at least a granny-like figure) and a community where he was the only kid.#As I've said in the past - WWX is far more adjacent to a 'cool uncle' figure who helps babysit without the full responsibility.#LWJ was always poised as more of a mentor-figure than a parental figure. And those dynamics are really valuable for kids!#Plus - We don't talk about Granny Wen enough. I love Granny Wen. Happy belated mother's day to her!#As always - the ask is very much appreciated. You've sent a lot of great ones in the past B*)#Sorry for the date no longer being as relevant...Today can be grandmother's day. 3rd Thursday of May.

Lore Drop!

Thank you both so much for your submissions! I can't tell you much about Stanley all that much yet (I'm still deliberating over some details that I want to iron out before revealing!!) but I sure can tell you more about the Bill & Ford situation :] especially about Bill's death.
------
Bill's death was a bit of a... fickle situation. Simply put, Bill didn't really die, but also kinda did! Let me explain:
After Bill "died", he was sent to the "In-Between".
The "In-Between" is basically a void of space sandwiched between the planes of reality/life/existence and "The After" (AKA. death and nothingness!) It can essentially be considered the digestive track of the multiverse, breaking down everything and everyone that's kicked the bucket so that they can be ready to be transferred over to "The After".
It, in a sense, "digests" everything physical about a (formerly) living creature. It decomposes it piece by piece, atom by atom; each particle paintakingly "digested" into fine stardust. The process supposedly takes a very long time, but that's okay, because Time doesn't exist in the "In-Between", since it ate it. Hunger is greedy, after all, and the "In-Between" is very hungry.
Bill, however, didn't belong there. His death was an odd case: dead within the mind of Ford, and yet still technically alive in every other sense. It didn't help that Bill wasn't as simple as a human mortal, and death was much more of a gamble for more complex beings like him. He was a paradox; an error! Usually, when the dead don't accept their death, they remain amongst the plane of existence until they come to accept it, instead of being processed through the "In-Between".
However, in Bill's case, it was the universe itself that rejected his death. So, he was tossed to the "In-Between" as a anomaly, still technically conscious and awake.
Anyways, fun stuff!! Hope you liked the lore dump :D
#I really appreciate all the questions you folks ask#it helps me organize my thoughts a lot :]#digested alive wasn't on my bingo for this year's AU predictions!!#gravity falls#gravity falls au#bill cipher#stanford pines#ford pines#gravity falls bill#HWINEBHABWNAJCAHOWEEATOWEUB AU

"Gojo should've gotten to live as a person-" THAT’S THE POINT. That is the ENTIRE point of JJK. Every single character who died was someone who "should've gotten to" do a lot of things. Riko should've gotten to live for herself, Geto should've had the chance to be a teenage boy given support and safety, Junpei should've gotten to live without fear, Nobara should've had the chance to let people in without fear, Nanami, Yuki, Mai, Higurama, EVERYONE.
Here's the thing, Gojo is on this list. Gojo isn't the exception because JJK at its core is a story about how overarching systems destroy people; bullying, capitalism, sexism, etc. And this system does not need people to run it. Which is why killing Kenjaku didn't stop shit because yeah he started this mess but its grown beyond him. Fuck, it was there before him.
This is also why despite Sukuna & Uraume being the only ones who are actual threats, nothing is better. The cast got rid of the higher-ups, jujutsu tech as it is, is no more. The major families are dismantled. This should be a victory. This is what the Sashisu gen pointed out as the problem but things have never looked more bleak.
Why? Because the problem isn't Kenjaku, Sukuna, curses, sorcerers or curse users. It's the existence of Cursed Energy itself. This has been pointed out multiple times by Yuki. Its the system and Gojo has been complicit to the system for a long, long time. He's also it's victim. Gojo says he's the exception a lot, but as everyone has rightfully pointed out, he was nothing more than a weapon to jujutsu society.
JJK has followed a very clear pattern to every character right from Geto to Junpei to Riko; characters are representatives of systems of suppression, and they will not escape it. I can't recall a single character that's escaped unscathed, much less alive.
Is it disrespectful? Yes. Is it demeaning? YES. There has not been a single character death that's been dignified in JJK. It's all on a scale of bearable to absolutely horrifying. It is genuinely wild seeing people resort to threatening the author AGAIN. Calm the fuck down. You are entitled to feeling upset about how Gojo has been treated but Yuta stans are being calm despite Yuta arguably suffering the "he is a weapon" thing WORSE. It's still a fictional character and JJK's narratives never treated Gojo with any exceptions despite the character saying otherwise.
#gojo satoru#jjk#jujutsu kaisen#jjk meta#jjk 261#satoru gojo#jjk manga#i really like gojo and appreciate his character btw#and i made my peace with 236#i also think we kind of got our answer to geto's question about being the strongest#gojo 100% was forced to give away his body to fight sukuna#but gojo.....isn't his body- isn't his six eyes#in his final moments as gojo satoru-what did he see him as?#we see him in some disembodied form unattached to his body#our kast glimpse of gojo as a oerson is unrelated to his six eyes with a smile

Ahh, and here's another lorepost. This one's about a fantasy world I've made, more specifically about how golems work. As always, @creepymutelilbugger, an here we go.
In order to make a golem, you need clay. This is non-negotiable, you can only animate clay.
You can make the clay much more dense in order to create bones for your golem, this will make it more structurally sound and it'll make it move in the way you want it to. This part's optional, as you can make a golem from any lump of clay if you want.
After that (or first if you didn't include the bones), you can shape the golem into whatever form you want it to be in. The form influences how the golem moves, so be careful how you shape it.
Next, you can bake the golem. This also adds structural stability, and is very useful if your golem will haul large loads (like steel or people).
Finally, you animate your golem. But with how much autonomy? Too much, and it becomes fully sapient, like the gnomes. Too little, and you have to command it to do every little movement. The best amount is usually slightly less than full sapience, but it might be useful for it to have little autonomy if it's doing fine movements.
And that's how to build a golem! I hope you liked it, as I did, and expect more of these things as time goes on.

March has been a very challenging month for me — from the first 2 weeks where my mom was admitted to the hospital while me & my brother stayed by her side; to my mom passing away later on due to kidney failure. During those times I asked for help & received a lot of doodle commissions. Since the past weeks have been pretty busy and difficult for me & my brother, I've been trying to pace myself so that I could go through them slowly.
I don't have any other source of income and since I can't take new commissions at the moment, I've put up 3 PDF doodle compilations in my ko-fi shop to help fund me & my brother's budget for our needs & expenses.
If you'd like to help out & support, you can get the pdfs individually from my ko-fi shop for a minimum of $5 each:
Gotchibam Doodle Compilation #1 (PDF)
Gotchibam Doodle Compilation #2 (PDF)
Gotchibam Doodle Compilation #3 (PDF)
Or get all 3 pdfs above for a minimum of $12 instead: Gotchibam Doodle Compilation #1, #2, & #3 (3 PDF Pack)
Each and every support counts & means a lot to me 🙏 Honestly I wouldn't have been able to get this far without you guys so I just really want to say thank you, thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart 🙏🙏🙏
#pokemon#pokemon doodles#doodle compilation#kofi doodle compilation#it's already pretty late so i'm heading to bed#but if you guys have any questions abt the pdfs#please let me know!#also please boost this if you can#i'd really appreciate it!#tysm again!!

Some of my favorite moments in canon are when we have 𝘯𝘰 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢 what Shinichi is thinking. Because he's the main character, we know his exact thoughts and plans 99% of the time, but he rarely voices any of this out loud to other characters. From an outside character's perspective, Shinichi is incredibly mysterious and even sometimes suspicious, pretty much all the time. You can never truly tell what he's thinking or feeling, because he keeps it hidden away. As the audience, 𝘸𝘦'𝘳𝘦 privy to it however. Which is why I love it when we get a glimpse into what Shinichi is like for literally everyone else.
The specific examples I can think of are desperate revival at the festival, the halloween party and confrontation between Jodie and Vermouth, and just the entirety of the murderer Kudou Shinichi case. These are moments where we 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 to be left out because of mixed up identities, and every time it's like "what in the world is he up to." And I want more of this 𝘴𝘰 𝘣𝘢𝘥!!
This is one of the reasons why fics from solely Kaito's POV (or any other characters) hold such a special place in my heart, even more so when Shinichi is being his usual scheming self. I 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 when I have to question this man's actions and motives. Because that's just how he is for everyone else!!
#this is also probably why the police rarely question him#do y'all get what im trying to say here?#like do people agree with this??#also any fic recs are MUCH appreciated i need more#dcmk#detective conan#kudou shinichi
